Make a route on Belarus by car. Autocheted in Belarus

In early September, I went with Nina and Eugene by car to Belarus. We had five full days at our disposal, for which we managed to watch a huge number of attractions, live in the castle, shoot from the machine gun, taste the delicious Belarusian cuisine and drive more than 2,000 kilometers along excellent roads.

Traveling in Belarus

Like greedy to the sights of Nina and Natasha made up a route

Castles Belarus

Agree, where and how many days to go, turned out to be the easiest because, as soon as we opened a guidebook and other sources, it immediately became clear that I would be very difficult to satisfy our appetites. Nina was ready to overcome on the day 800 km, but to have time to look at the north of Belarus and south-west. I also wanted to make a more optimal route to drive less a day, but more to watch. As a result, we decided that we would choose the sights that are located along our path, which will begin from Nesvizhsky Castle and continue north around Minsk. To be clearer, you can easily submit our route so. If you mentally put the circus on the map at the point "Minsk" and carry out a radius of about 150 km from the north to the north-west, we will get approximately our route.

More about our training at the journey, booking hotels and so on can be read in separate article.
That's how our route looked on the map.

Belarusian national suit

Fields, roads and Belarusian expanses

Before the trip, we read on the Internet that in Belarus very good roads that Yaros were opposed to our. As soon as we crossed the border, they were a little surprised, because the road surface was old and not particularly smooth. But, in fact, we arrived not as an auditions of the road service, so they began to look around.

We moved along the M1 highway, constantly driving pointers with information about paid sites Roads. It is not necessary to scare, since 2012 all roads have become free, but for some reason they did not remove signs. Speed limit 120, which is very comfortable.
The first thing that rushes into the eyes is the inhabited fields and a huge number of tractors. Perhaps they have a tractor on the road with the same frequency as in Moscow Infinity jeeps.

Tractor Belarus

On the roads you can also meet the horse.

In Belarus

Since September stood on the courtyard, then most of the crop have already been removed, the fields were poured by natural fertilizers ... The aromas were simply "magic".
On the way, there were constantly fields in the fodder corn, replica, once drove the field of sunflowers, but Nina and Zhenya really did not give it to it. Well, even though Kukuru was given to disrupt and thank you.
By the way, after we drove a few kilometers from the border with Russia, the road became very good, and, both the track and the minor roads.

And everywhere perfect cleanliness. As if the streets wash with shampoo.
It can be seen that agriculture is well developed in Belarus. Fields are processed, cattle grafts in the villages, in stores selling products of local production, along the way there are many trucks carrying milk, meat, sausages, etc.

Belarusian cows

Funny the decorations of straw, bags and other girlfriends, glorifying farmers, telling about how many tons of harvest here was collected this year.

Traveling in Belarus

In general, folk creativity is very developed, even in cities you can meet these compositions .. cheap, but beautiful?

Composition

Signs along the road are almost all written in the Belarusian language. In general, everything is clear, though a little is not familiar, because in Belarusian language, "A" is placed everywhere where we are "O", "E" - where "e". For example, Dvarez is understandable? The only time when we had misunderstanding with the Belarusian language, became the search for the city of Zaslavl. It turned out that in Belarusian, he is written off, so we drove the pointer by. In addition to the pointers, the price lists are hanging in the Museums in the museums, the work schedule, but people absolutely everyone speaks Russian.

Commercial signs, type of poster, we met almost always in Russian. Somehow we walked one of the towns, and on the fence of a private house hung a large banner with an advertisement for the concert of the Belarusian singer sorcerer. Zhenya was very surprised that the psychics earn so well that they could afford to buy such advertising space. And then it was once again surprised when I learned that this surname is so.

Along roads, as in Europe, brown tourist pointers are placed everywhere for each landmark, and the fact of the attraction, the more often the signs appear at a longer distance.
Photo
We had a road map of Belarus, a guide to a bad description, how to get to interesting objects, it was enough. Navigator Garmin, despite the update before the card trip, he knew only Minsk and a couple of major cities that we were not needed.

Story about the road M1 to Belarus here.

Nature Belorussia

A trip to Belarus can become an excellent anti-stress adventure. Fresh air in the country beautiful nature, multi-kilometer fields that create a feeling of complete freedom, delicious calorie and natural food, sea of architectural and natural attractions, as well as opportunities for active rest: Fishing, hunting, rafting, horse riding, hiking, cycling, walking along the routes in National Parks. This topic is infinite, it is impossible to tell about everything in one note.

Nature Belorussia

As part of this trip, we chose for themselves cultural tourismBut the next time I will also come to fishing and visiting national parks.
If you love rest in nature, Belarus is excellent for this suitable and can become an excellent alternative to Finland and other lake european countries. Especially financially, because prices in the country below once a half. If we talk about the service, what kind of service do you need to relax in nature?

In Belarus, there are a large number of agroworks - this is something between the holiday home and the private sector. Agriesades are of different levels, you can live in a real village with all the consequences of this, and you can choose a comfortable house. Usually agricultural people offer additional services In the form of home metering, horseback riding, organizing fishing, hunting and various excursions.
Next time I plan to stay in the agriculture, it seems to me that it is quite interesting and not usually.

On the sights of Belarus

The attractions of Belarus deserve to tell about them separately, since in one small paragraph will not fit all. Interesting places of this country can be divided into several large groups: natural (for example, Belovezhskaya forest), architectural (castles, estates, palaces), ethnographic (Dudöb Museum), memorable places related to the Great Patriotic War (Khatyn, Brest Fortress) , pilgrimage and religious places (Cathedral in Polotsk and others). We did not go to cover the immense, so strictly followed the scheduled route. I will say ahead, I will say that it was more than enough, since I was overwhelmed at the end of the trip.

Once Belarus called the "country of locks", which there were a lot here. But today, it is possible to surprise the special beauty of the castles of Belarus, first of all it is necessary to allocate a worldly castle (included in the list world Heritage UNESCO) and Nesvizhsky Castle.

Mirsky Castle

For tourists a whole has been developed a tourist routewhich includes both renovated locks (for example, Lida Castle) and picturesque ruins.

Ruins of Novogrudsky Castle

We independently visited the ruins of the Cosovo Castle, the Ruins of the Palace in Rujans saw the remains of the towers of Novogrudsky Castle. All these places are sheaven with interesting legends, historical events. In general, we were left under the impression and with great desire to return.

Driving on Belarus, we had the impression that tourists are clearly waiting here. I did not notice the advertising of the country with us, but it can be seen that the state program for the restoration of architectural values and the preservation of natural attractions works efficiently. The funds in the restoration of castles and palaces are invested, ethno-museums are created, ancient churches and other churches work.

Some towns of the country are similar to Poland and Baltic countries, especially the churches, Catholic churches, palaces.

Town Hall in the center of Nesvizh

City buildings of the historic part of the cities are dated mainly by 18-19 centuries, and, of course, the Hand of the Bolsheviks is visible everywhere: the gray shrimp of the working class, plants, administrative buildings.

In the city of Slonim

Since Belarus has been very strong in the days of World War II, it is still audible. Along the road, we constantly seen monuments to the soldiers and their mothers, live flowers near them. I imagine how to hear Echo if visiting Brest and Khatyn. We visited the Military Museum of Stalin Line, located near Minsk. Under open sky Recreated a defense line that was built during the years of Soviet power to restrain the enemy troops in case of an offensive. Taking individual excursion, we descended in dot, in which the machine guns and periscope are located, then passed by the anti-tank protection, on the RWI and many more. I will tell you about visiting the museum separately.

Stalin Line

Stalin Line

On weekdays, there are few tourists, but there are even foreigners among them. We also seen the company of Belarusians who travel by car in their own country, met Ukrainian and Russian cars.

Belly and Belarusian food

Belarusian cuisine

Many people come to Belarus in order to eat tasty and cheap. I know one person who goes there solely for this. I think many have already tried the Belarusian products that were very much on our counters, and can imagine what a variety of tastes is located inside the country. Fields fertilize with manure, cattle is well fed - everything says that Belarusians produce a natural product.

Many Belarus is associated with potatoes and not in vain. Potato there is extremely tasty, and the national dish from it called "Draki" above all praise. In addition, various sauces and ingredients are added to the Dianki: forest mushrooms in cream sauce, meat, etc., feed them in a pan, a pot, on a plate - what is enough fantasy at the cook. In all restaurants. Tourist-oriented, serve deununs from potatoes, uroan with pancakes, welded fatty soups and more tasty and harmful dishes. Portions are large, the cost is low, so we constantly overeat. Every time they told ourselves that we will not order so much so much, and each time they turned out from the table. The middle check per person after very dense lunch or dinner of three dishes is 300 rubles for our money, in expensive restaurants 500-700 rubles, which is very cheap. In general, keep yourself in your hands).

About Belorus

Belarusians can characterize as leisurely and rather modest people who are not smiling once again. At the same time, if you begin to communicate with them, then gradually they are revealed and feel much more freely, almost everyone meets people were very nice and responsive. We always helped to find the way when we tried to leave the city on the right track, explained how to get to the castles. But here are Belarusian ladies working in the service sector, surprised. Administrators at the hotel, the waitresses do not bother themselves in polite handling of the client, constantly had to put up with the Soviet service. At first it shocked, then accustomed.

Masterpiece from the hotel

For example, we stayed at the hotel in Nesvizhsky Castle, so the administrator did not even want to explain where the cafe is located in which a paid breakfast will be waiting for us in the morning. But she quickly taught us to show an entrance.
In small towns, it felt that the population is not rich. People are very modestly dressed, there are many drunken men on a weekday, strange youth, a lot of gopniks. But under Minsk, the country's palaces are built, it is felt that many are all good with money there.

On bicycles

Shopping, Gifts, Souvenirs

Planning a trip, we did not really think about Shopping, but still brought the floor of the shopping trunk. We can not let us in the store with Nina, it is beneficial for this only to the owners of the institution.
Having hitting the holiday of Belarusian writing, I scaled all fairy-tale characters in the face of grandmother-outer, domain and another cute little man who should bring happiness to the house.
Here we also bought 5 books about the sights of Belarus, two received as a gift.
But I just have little, I grabbed another three sets of linen bedding: to myself and as a gift to parents.
In Nine, we made a turnover with a woman who sold a tablecloth with manual embroidery and lace. We stripped her tent, bought a total of 6 tablecloths.
In Slonim, we went to the store of the Belarusian cosmetics and scored for a large bag of any jars and bottles. Having spent 1000 rubles, we realized at home that you can use only cream for hands, toothpaste and soap, and all sorts of masks, hair emulsions - complete nonsense. At least after Israeli and American cosmetics worth not less than 1000 rubles. For one tool, of course, Belorusskaya does not roll. If you use Shamtu, Elseve and the like brands, the Belarusian cosmetics can be a good alternative and much cheaper.

Belarusian cosmetics

From edible, we bought the Belarusian chocolate and Lida beer. Many still bring tincture and vodka, but I can't say anything, I did not try.
Initially, we planned to go to the supermarket and buy home food in Belarusian prices, but there are no time along the stores, and we had no time to drive into the city.

I can say that for myself I decided to go to Belarus once again to see the rest interesting cities, castles, churches and fortresses. For example, the ancient Polotsk, Vitebsk and Grodno, Belovezhskaya Pushcha other national parks, Brest Fortress.

Rujans, Pruzhansky district

In the guidebooks of the ruins of the palace proudly refer to the "Belarusian Versaille", but come here not for chic species and the interiors (there is not so much survived here), but rather in powerful energy, which is inherent in such places of force. Only imagine: at the beginning of the XVII century, the castle was laid here - the chancellor of ON Lion Sapga took part in this matter. To live in it, it was not only comfortable, but also safely, the complex added three powerful defensive towers. Important state issues were discussed in Rujans, there were receptions of top managers on, there was also an archive of Sapegov and a state treasury. After the defeat of the uprising, Sapegy left the residence, and a weaving factory was organized in the palace. During the first world ensemble, he was burning, then he was tried to restore him, but after World War II, this case was abandoned.

Interestingly, in the 60s of the last century, the Aviation Polygon was located in Olmans, so there are still unexploded shells and bombs in the swamps.

Of particular interest is an ecotard almost one and a half kilometer. She goes along the lake a lot of broken, on the other side of which is already Ukraine. The second route will lead you to a 40-meter tower, with which it is very convenient to view the surroundings and biodiversity. Ask local, where "Sea of Herodota" here is a big and small intercourse and another 23 lakes.

Yes, they can even hunt them (if enough conscience). Yes, this was signed by the collapse agreement on the collapse of the USSR. Yes, it is here that Belarusian Santa Claus lives (his residence is still working even in the summer - but the Santa Santa is lightweight). Breathing with relic air, cutting on a bike, bison feed in the aviary bread with hands, slightly look at Kamenetsum Vyzhe, which has been more than 700 years old.

For construction, a brick creek was specially organized or in parallel with all the surroundings, eggs were collected - they were added to strengthen the lime solution. Slate was specially brought from Germany. Here you can find out what the Arkbutan looks like - the outer midst day, which distributes the load from the main wall and stands separately (remember Notre Dame de Paris) - for Belarus, it is completely atypically. In 1882, a powerful restoration was carried out, a bell tower was made on one of the towers. Successful Mix Gothic and Renaissance, Stone, Brick and Rose Window. Traveling through Belarus - the next stop of Cosovo

On the road from Nesvizh in Kosovo, you can stop the night trains for the night. For example, in one of the hotels in Baranovichi. And in the morning it will go to inspect new attractions, castles and palaces of Belarus.

Palace of Pouslovsky (Cosovsky Castle)- It is built in a pseudo-styled style, has 12 towers. Possession of the governor and industrialist Kazimir Adam Titus Buslovsky. If the castle was not blown up and burned during the war (by the efforts of partisans in 1943), and it reached our days in his original form, he would have an embodiment of advanced technologies and considered a miracle of the world.

For example, the floor of the main hall was made of glass and was a huge aquarium with exotic fish. In total, the castle was 132 rooms - there were halls for receptions and balls. And this mega construction ended 20 years before the advent of the light bulb (in 1838).

Here, in Kosovo is the house-museum of Angeha Tadeusch Bonaventure Kostysheko, whose name is deeply revered in many countries of the world and remains almost unwinning in his homeland.

Distance along the route Minsk - Mir-Nesvizh - Kosovo - Rujans ~ 393 km, approximate travel time ~ 5 h 27 min.

The next object of our attention becomes the village of Ruzany, here are the ruins - the palace of Sapiega. Palace suffered first world War And finally was destroyed in the Second World War.

And we rush to inspect this once majestic and grand castle on the car. As well, the Trinity Church (1617), Church of Saints Peter and Paul (1778), Basilian Monastery (1788), the building of the synagogue (end of the 18th century), Church of St. Casimir (1792), the Austeria building (second half of the 18th century). A unique lake of a lake Popper on the outskirts of Ruzhan - here you can relax, buy and sunbathe.
If you go to ruts from Minsk, the length of the road will be 240 km. You can have a snack and fill the car only in Volkovysk (roadside service in Belarus is poorly developed).

Ruzans are one of the few medieval European cities endowed with Magdeburg law, was a residence of Sapegov.

This famous genus gave an unnecessary number of significant Persons: 22 people were prompts inclusive and compulculated speech, 15 were Marshalls of the Chief Lithuanian Tribunal, some of the kind of sapeg were bishops, chancellors, vice-chancellors, hetmans ...

Well, here's actually, a further journey through Belarus on a car can be completed expensive to Brest to the Brest Fortress, along the way, driving on Stalin's line. And from there, in Lida - to the castle of Gedimin XIV century. Castles are in Grodno, in Novogrudok, in loved, in Golzhany, in Krevo ...

Traveling by car in Belarus will open you a lot of interesting things. You can unexpectedly open someone's estate or tomb, or a memorial.

Kaplitsa-chapel of the Shankhetsky genus of Ozhechko - D. Razezeli Brest region. Or palace-park complex Pototsky in the town of High Brest district ...

Medieval castles of Belarus can be independently visited on a rented car. To do this, it is not necessary to pay for excursions and tours.

Usually I am against a quick sightseeing, but today I will change my principles and advise not to spend the whole day for a couple of castles, as they advise in guidebooks, and I will offer to see 7 worthy places for 1.5 days: from the super popular renovated worldly castle, to Abandoned tomb in the village of Brest region.

You are waiting for travel budget, a description of the places, the already developed route and marks on the map.

Map of castles, palaces and tobrels of Belarus

The map shows all the places that we visited or plan to visit in the near future. As you can see, there are a lot of marks, so we allocated their color:

 • green - the most, in our opinion, cool places that are clearly worth visiting,
 • red - interesting places, but they can be skipped, if the time is not enough,
 • yellow - where we were not yet, but we plan to go.

This, of course, is purely our opinion. Write in the comments that you advise you to see. Come on!

Map of the castles of Belarus:

Mirsky Castle

Entrance to the castle itself: 10 BYN, for schoolchildren and students of 5 BYN.

Location: City World.

Coordinates: 53.45115, 26.47291.

You can reach the bus route Minsk Novogrudok. On the way 2 hours. By car from Minsk - 1 hour.

30 min on a fluid inspection.

My opinion: It is worth a visit.

The architecture of the castle is a mix of late Gothic and Renaissance. Monumental and impregnable, the castle is included in the list cultural heritage UNESCO. Just look at what beauty!

The worldly castle was built at the beginning of the 16th century magnate Yuri Ilinich.

You can stroll through the park in English style, watch defensive tiers, battle galleries, chapel and tomb of the genus of Svyatopolk-worldly, and also look into the basement.

Opposite the attractions there is a cozy alley on which to walk and walk. But I was very frozen and understood why in autumn there are so few people here. Wind - horror!

At the corners of the castle are 4 towers, the fifth tower is in the middle. The number of towers is equal to the number of men in the family of Ilyinich: 4 Side towers - 4 Sons, 1 Central Tower - Yuri Ilinich, after whom the death castle only did not own. As a result, the landmark for many decades fell into the launch and only in the 21st century the authorities of Belarus finally decided to renovate him. As you will understand later, mostly from the second post of this topic, they are repaired in Belarus far from all meaningful attractions. Many and now abandoned. So the worldly castle was very lucky.

The courtyard, which is allowed completely free of charge.

In the worldly castle there is a hotel:

To be honest, I did not expect anything special from this pop attractions, but the worldly castle pleasantly surprised me: clean, cozy, here is its atmosphere. You will be in Belarus, be sure to visit!

Next to the castle there are trays with souvenirs and a couple of cafes in which you can buy hot coffee. It is very topic in such a diverse weather. The worldly castle is just 38 km from another well-renovated attraction: Nesvizhsky Castle. So we immediately drove there!

We drove 30 minutes through numerous villages. In the villages, by the way, there is also something to see: the houses are bright and neat. The roads, though not perfect, but we are not stuck anywhere, taking into account even what we went to rain.

Roman Catholic Church of God's Body

On the way to Nesvizhsky Castle, we looked into the Roman Catholic Church of God's Body, built in the 16th century and since then never closes its doors for parishioners. Wars, persecution, again wars and devastation, and it is not necessary for this baroque temple: it works for four and a half centuries and that's it.

Walk around and go inside - free.

Location: Nesvizh city.

Coordinates: 53.22051, 26.68392

15 min on a runaway inspection.

My opinion: if there is no time, you can skip.

Prince Nikolai Radziwill for Nicknamed Syrotka met in Europe with the architect Bernardoni, who invited to Nesviz to build a church in the European style. The young architect agreed, but arrived in Nesvizh only 15 years later. No, he didn't quite much enough, he, being Jesuit, did not stay on the way in the hotels, as it is now accepted, but in the monasteries. And everywhere came on the same rake: Jesuits, having learned that he was an architect, he did not let him go until he built a church. So it came out that on the way from Rome to Nesvizh Bernardoni, built several attractions that exist and so on. Hitching a hand, the architect quickly erected the Roman-Catholic church of God's body and left for Krakow, where he died.

Nesvizh Castle

Go to the courtyard - 3 BYN.

Entrance to the castle itself: 14 BYN, for schoolchildren and students on 7 BYN.

Location: Nesvizh city.

Coordinates: 53.222631, 26.691949.

30 min on a fluid inspection.

My opinion: It is worth a visit.

Nesvizhsky castle in Belarus is in a very popular tourist city Nesvizh, so if you have a lot of time, in addition to the castle itself, you can visit the City Town Hall, the complex of the former monastery, the Roman Catholic Church of God's Body (about which was mentioned above) and much more. Cost of output tickets, see Niasvizh.by.

We walked a little by cautiously, here cozy. There is no difference in architecture and noticeably that the buildings are built in one style, which gives the town a certain charm.

But back to the very castle. It was built at the end of the 16th century and served as a residence of the richest kind of Grand Duchy of Lithuanian - Radziwill. At one time, Nesvizhsky castle was the most powerful and perfect strengthening of Belarus and stood quite a few attacks.

In the official price list there are no prices for visiting the courtyard, but the ear guards took 3 BYN from us for two and allowed to visit the courtyard. The transfer of money resembled a criminal detective with a secret transmission of drugs - "Transfer, transmit," the guards whispered, "only no one seen!"))

A little more about the fraud: In the treasury of the castle, the priceless collection of 12 apostles from pure gold, swept, was once kept precious stones. One group of robbers tried to kidnap the gold apostles, so real statues were hidden in the dungeons, and in the castle itself there were copies of wax, decorated with fake stones. Over time, the wax figures of those robbers who tried to steal them were also near the apostles. So the first collection of wax figures appeared!

A minute of Mi-Mi: On a warm hatch of the courtyard of the castle, such a gentle handsome washed. Well, how not to stroke?

After examining the Nesvizhsky castle, we move over the night in Brest. Far road, 273 km. On the car we drove 2.5 hours. What to do on the road? Study the names passing villages! Appendices, New Popina, New Mouse, Village Wood and My Favorite - Dreams village.

Overnight in Brest + 4 more sights

At night we stayed in a cozy apartment in the center of Brest:

In general, in the Brest Sea where you can stay:

The next day, we visited the Brest Fortress, the abandoned chapel of the genus Obyshko, Pushlovsky Palace (Cosovsky Castle) and an abandoned palace complex Saveg. But about this in the next post

Travel cost on a rented car

Prices for gasoline: 1,15 BYN for 92 gasoline, 1,25 BYN for 95 gasoline.

Rent a car (Chevrolet 2014):

 • 72 BYN for 1 day for the basic rate (no more than 350 km per day);
 • 80 BYN for 1 day, if you take an option with unlimited mileage.

We chose an option with unlimited mileage. From Minsk to Brest and back with a check-in to 7 attractions we have shown 1000 km. Total for rent a car for 1.5 days + for gasoline we paid 190 BYN.

Food in the cafes we were in 60 BYN for two. Plus, we still bought all sorts of snacks on the festive table (celebrated the 5th anniversary of their life).
