We rested with my family in Primorye (Koktebel) for 15 days. We tuned in to the specifics of rest in Russia, we were ready for the nuances. In general, I liked it. We lived in a cottage, 2-room suite. Normal repair, good furniture, everything you need is there: air conditioning, ironing board, iron, clothes dryer, kettle, cups, glasses, beach towels ... I didn’t have enough hangers in the closet. Linen was changed every 5 days, wet cleaning about the same, towels as needed. Trash was taken out daily. The bed was not made. The territory is large. many rose bushes, various coniferous plants. Gardeners are trying to ennoble the flower beds. But there are also neglected areas. Several buildings are abandoned. There is a playground for basketball, football, tennis, but the surface is old asphalt, you can break your legs ((There are 2 pools on the territory - for children and adults + jacuzzi. The water is cold both there and there. There is a bar (tea, coffee, cold hibiscus, lemon drink). City beach, small pebbles, free sun loungers with a bracelet. Quite clean, there are special smoking areas. Nobody lies next to you and smokes, which was a pleasant surprise. There is a playground, not bad, there is where to release energy)) In the evening children's animation: dances, songs. The girls are trying. Canteen. Buffet. Several types of meals: breakfast, breakfast-dinner, 3 meals a day. Meals are like in kindergarten :)) Chefs, staff are trying, thanks to them! For breakfast, 2 types of cereals, cottage cheese casserole, scrambled eggs, boiled egg, dumplings with potatoes or pasta, sausages, buckwheat, bread, cheese, butter, tea, coffee. For lunch, soup, chicken broth, croutons, side dishes, cutlets (they are meatballs, zrazy, etc.), sometimes pork chops, chicken. Dinner: the same as for lunch, but without soup, + kefir, pastries, porridge ... Nobody went hungry, you can always choose something, especially for children it's the easiest! There is a kiosk on site where you can buy tours. The prices are democratic. Children under 5 are almost free everywhere. Own medical center, working around the clock. Friendly paramedics will always give practical advice and help if necessary. Near the complex there are several canteens ("Spoon", "Rybka", "Canteen", etc.), cafes, a liquor store, all kinds of entertainment for children. In general, we liked the rest. But I can wish development and customer focus. There is no limit to perfection!

Free towels and cool drinks. (another bonus). We went to eat in the dining room (bought immediately with three meals a day buffet). Great selection, all delicious. They ate from the belly. On the territory there is a billiards, a sauna, a gym and a barbecue area. And of course Koktebel itself - the sea, the sun and the mountains. Mountains can only be better than mountains! We went to the winery "Solnechnaya Dolina". I was very impressed, especially the tasting of 10 varieties of wine ... I advise everyone to TOSK Primorye, you will not regret it. Really cool. I remember my vacation in the Crimea with special warmth.

We stayed in July 2018. We lived in the 2nd building in a 2-room apartment. Towels are changed regularly according to the schedule, wet cleaning in the room was not carried out every day. There is a swimming pool on the territory, but there were not always enough places near the pool. The location to the sea is wonderful, the beach is clean, minus - a lot of smoking areas, which are located directly on the beach! It is unpleasant for a non-smoker and a vacationer with a child, smoking areas should be located away from the beach. In the dining room, the food is varied, always fresh vegetables, fruits, as the dish ended, they promptly brought fresh. The only thing is that there are few dairy products, only rice-curd casserole made from cottage cheese. Within walking distance of the embankment, water park, dolphinarium, attractions, stalls. Regarding the illness of children, I agree, they encountered an intestinal infection, which is unpleasant!

In a 2-bed room with extra. the third place was not prepared for the child at night, they brought a broken cot, then another, there was no set of towels, they brought it later. And all this fuss at one in the morning, although the check-in during the day - everything should be ready. It just horrified me - a dryer in a damp toilet. The morning began in walking around the administration with a request to provide conditions for drying wet clothes. In the end - thanks to the accountant Olga (the director left), who quickly resolved the issue and the carpenter pulled the ropes outside the window. Location to the sea 5+, well-groomed territory, a lot of roses, food is acceptable. I advise you to go to the 1st building, when you check into the 2nd building, be prepared for economic problems: there is no reception, control over the maids too. In general - a solid 4, but due to savings on qualified personnel. I do not advise with children until the problem with treatment facilities is solved in Koktebel - there are many cases of children getting sick.

In general, repeatedly passing by the administrators in the lobby, I noticed that for some reason they were all constantly busy, even when there were no people near them, they would not raise their heads, they did not greet immediately, but there should be a friendly attitude towards guests, because they are at work . And it doesn’t matter that during the 17 days of staying in the bathroom the light bulb burned out 6 times, because the most important thing is your own positive attitude. The location of the complex in the village of Koktebetel is one of the best - everything is within walking distance: a dolphinarium, an aquarium, a water park, a market, shops, tents, restaurants, canteens. The beach is located 100 meters from the building. Sunbeds and awnings are included in the price of the tour, but I think it is necessary to optimize its work, since everyone has the opportunity to access the beach, including holiday season a lot of people. Since there is no transfer, which everyone is used to abroad, you can take a taxi from Simferopol Airport. Taxi drivers ask from 3000 rubles. Or take a bus from the bus station. This is a real extreme. The queues at the box office are miles long. We arrived at about 15.00 and there were no bus tickets for all the remaining flights. We persuaded the driver to take us for a fee. As a result, there were 10 more people crammed into the groove, riding on each other's heads. Everything was spelled out in the ticket, building 1, the presence of air conditioning in the room, all-inclusive meals. If you do not want scandals, be sure to check what is written in the ticket. Often there were scandals when people demanded rooms with air conditioning, but this was not spelled out in their vouchers. Also, if the presence of a balcony is essential for you, then you need to order a ticket to building No. 1. Settled strictly in accordance with the ticket. The rooms in buildings 1 and 2 are no different from similar Turkish ones, TV, refrigerator, shower room, carpet, everything is simple and old. There is no hair dryer. There is a balcony in all rooms of the 1st building, in the 2nd building there are very few rooms with a balcony. Cleaned well every day except Sunday. Towels are changed after 3 days, linen after 5. toilet paper give only if you ask. About cases that are cheaper - I just don’t know. The territory of the tourist complex is huge, cool! The pool is shallow. In the August heat, you can cook there, because there are only 2-3 umbrellas, and they are broken and just periodically torn off by the wind and fly at vacationers. That is, the whole Koktebel is sunbathing there and there was simply nowhere to lie down there from time to time. There are no umbrellas. The entire beach is filled with stationary rubber canopies, which are not allowed for vacationers of the tourist complex and are paid for everyone - 250 rubles. Since few people buy these sheds, they and the places under them are empty, and people huddle wherever they can in the remaining space. The lack of elementary umbrellas simply killed - half of my family tolerates the sun well, and the second needs shade. Therefore, we spent time on the beach separately, I was in the shady gallery, the family was in the open sun. There is no own toilet, as we are used to abroad, toilets are paid - from 15 rubles. The sea is cold and dirty. We arrived, the water was + 26, in the morning it immediately became +18. I don’t know what cold currents are there, but almost all 2 weeks of our vacation in August the water did not rise above 22 degrees. Entrance to the dining room again by cards, already by others, their code is constantly read at the entrance. Pickles and "all inclusive" Turkish is not here. The food is ordinary. For me, this has been a big plus. Normal healthy homemade food. For breakfast, porridge, usually two to choose from, and muesli. For lunch, delicious homemade soups. Puree, rice, buckwheat, cutlets are different. No one had problems feeding the children, all children eat this. At the same time, at 17.30 they are asked to get ready "There are many excursions, to Sevastopol, Feodosia, Bakhchisaray, other cities, to monasteries, hiking and water trips to the Karadgsky reserve. All this also requires considerable costs. The price of fruit simply killed, apples cost 120 rubles per kilogram. Air - yes, it is "It's just a miracle. It's not for nothing that Koktebel is considered a paradise for asthmatics. But, perhaps, we won't come to Crimea again. The price is already very far gone from the quality. It's not worth it."

I think that in this case it is possible to make just an ordinary canteen with the usual distribution (it is not necessary to repeat everything after Turkey and Europe, they have their pros and cons, we have ours).

We rested in TOSK "Primorye" from June 6 to June 20, 2016. The price-quality ratio is somewhat overpriced towards the price. The food is acceptable, the chefs try to prepare a variety of dishes from a minimum of products. For our taste, the porridges were too sweet and there were very few fish dishes (by the way, although there is a belief that there are few fish in the Black Sea, other boarding houses and sanatoriums somehow get out of the situation)). But here all the questions to the leadership. Apparently, the name "hostel" does not imply such improvements. Service at a good level. The delivery staff is courteous and helpful. We rested in Building-1. We chose a room on the 4th floor (there is an elevator). Orthopedic problems did not allow the use of a crushed old mattress on the bed. When asked to change the mattress, they changed the room. The mattress in the ground floor room was much better, but the dampness and cold aggravated my arthrosis problems. We tried to dry the air with an air conditioner, which immediately broke down. They repaired it quickly, but the problem was not completely solved. When the weather improved, clouds of mosquitoes appeared: ((Ventilation in the toilet rooms can hardly cope with the humidity after taking a shower (in both rooms). Very weak WiFi. Only in the lobby and on the street near the building. Free drinks, really, like "vinegar for free ". The coffee drink from the vending machines does not resemble coffee in color, taste or smell, unfortunately. I really liked the well-groomed park and the fact that the territory is guarded. I advise you to definitely go swimming in the village New World. It's magical there. The hotel area is large and very beautiful, a lot of roses.

The boarding house itself is pleasant, everything in our room was in order, the food was normal. Excursions - interesting, but long, for an amateur. I want to tell you about my vacation in TOSK "Primorye" in August 2016. Reviews about "Primorye" met infrequently, I decided to write my own - I hope it will help someone decide where to relax in Crimea
TOSK "Primorye" is located in Koktebel, Crimea. TOSK is a tourist and recreational sports complex.
*** How to get there ***
You can get from Simferopol Airport by taxi, by bus (they run frequently according to the schedule), by minibus. The same way you can get from the station.
We traveled by minibus from the airport for 500 rubles. per person (there were 7 people on the autoline, the autoline was comfortable). We bought a ticket back for a regular bus for about 230 rubles. per person (and R. 30 luggage, I think).
Drive - 2 hours from the airport of Simferopol.

In August 2016, the cost of the stay was (bought through a friend in a travel company):
2500 rubles per person per day (subject to double occupancy), with meals.
We rested together, 9 days.
Total: 45,000 rubles.
*** Beach ***
The hotel "Primorye" has its own pebble beach. But any tourists are allowed there (it seems, for an additional fee). There are sun loungers on the beach, but of course there are not enough of them for everyone. There are a lot of people, I saw such a beach in Adler about 13 years ago. It is better to take places in the morning. There are sheds, but they are immediately occupied there. I didn’t even worry about sunbeds - they lay on towels, I like to feel the warmth of pebbles And such a kind of massage)
The beach is clean, there are showers and changing cabins. Toilets are paid (!) on the embankment.
The sea is clean, entry into the water is excellent. There are limiters - buoys. In the morning you can swim further away - I didn’t see any lifeguards anyway ... But at 9-10 o’clock pleasure boats begin to sail, people ride jet skis, so you need to be careful and not swim over the buoys.

Lived in a double room. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything is in good condition, everything is cultural and clean. Prepared for the worst

Bed linen and towels are white and changed as stated. It suited me, even very much) Cleaned up normally. The bathroom has a washbasin.

*** Service staff ***
There are no claims. Everyone is VERY nice, polite, friendly! I was shocked))) Everyone is welcomed as dear guests. Everyone, including the chefs, always says hello (even with gloomy vacationers who just woke up and rush to the beach).

I will write about what I used.
You can iron for free in a special room, an iron and keys will be given with pleasure.
You can hand over the laundry for a ridiculous price. Looks like 50. kilogram. The linen will be washed, dried and given to you in at its best At first they were not going to use it, but then, nevertheless, the habit of washing with a typewriter made itself felt, and it was too lazy to wash with hands. Yes, I'm a lazy person. Yes, and people earn extra money there, I didn't feel sorry for it at all.
In general, with any request, you can contact the counter, where they give out the keys - they will listen and explain / help everything. We were always interested in: "How was the room - did you like it?", "How was the rest?", "Did you like everything?".
The territory is large, very beautiful and well-groomed. Gardeners work all the time, plants are watered. Roses of different shades grow all around, other beautiful flowers. There are groves of roses. The fence, behind which there is a tennis court, is entwined with grapes. Lots of coniferous trees, cypresses. After the main building of the hotel you get to the site where there is a model of one of aircraft I don't know the names. It has to do with the history of the village.

There is a wonderful alley, near which there is a playground, and on the alley itself there are benches. Alley chestnut, very beautiful! Even at the end of the alley there are interesting and unusual figures from Soviet fairy tales. Walking is very pleasant. Children, I think, also like it.

*** Nutrition ***
The food in TOSK "Primorye" is good, there is enough of everything. The dishes are varied, the food is healthy and quite dietary. I really liked
For breakfast- casserole (very tasty), cereals, cereals with milk, scrambled eggs, eggs and much more ...
For lunch- be sure to eat soup, a good choice second courses, salads.
For dinner- second courses, salads, bun / cookies, kefir, yogurt.
I can only complain about this:
If they give fruits, there are few of them (as if they are sorry), and for some reason they give chopped apples and bananas, which darken. This problem is solvable - we go to the market and buy whatever our heart desires.
For breakfast, pieces of cheese and sausages are quite small - even somehow funny (again, as if they are sorry),
It is better to give yogurt and kefir not for dinner, but, for example, an hour or 2 after it (as in a sanatorium).
But in general - the food is much better than in Turkey / Egypt, for example, as it suits us more)))
*** Hotel location ***
The location is great. Everything is close, you can choose entertainment for every taste!
From TOSK "Primorye" you can go to the embankment and take a walk, both in one direction and in the other. I looked at all the hotels that passed - I decided that the beach near the boarding house "Primorye" is the cleanest and most pleasant, the location of the building from the beach is the most successful.
If you leave the boarding house and go to the left, literally in 5-10 minutes you can find yourself at the dolphinarium - you don’t even need to go anywhere! I advise everyone to visit a wonderful dolphinarium. On both sides of the boarding house along the embankment there are a lot of cafes (different, there are also clubs with discos), canteens, counters with souvenirs and sweets. On the embankment along the sea, they draw portraits, sell jewelry, tell fortunes, draw tattoos, weave braids - in general, everyone will find something to have fun and where to attach money))) In the evening there are a lot of people, people just pour in a stream.
Another plus of the location of the boarding house is one of the sights of the Crimea - the Golden Gate is located nearby. Surely, many have seen the image on souvenirs / magnets. Excursion on a "pirate" boat to the Golden Gate is very exciting, plus it includes swimming in the open Black Sea.

From the boarding house you can go to the city, then it is easy to find any store. Nearby (a small town) there is a market and a bus station (go left from the boarding house). You can return through the embankment, if desired. There is awesome marshmallow on the market !!!))) I overate on it) The shops have everything. During the rest, we even had to go to dentistry. They accepted it perfectly to find it - also go left from the hotel, about 10-15 minutes.
*** Animation, Entertainment ***
On the territory of the hotel "Primorye" there is a club, in it: a small library, a left-luggage office, billiards and board games (backgammon, chess, checkers). Everything is free.
And in the boarding house there is even animation!) Which is very nice) Designed mainly for children, but there is something for adults as well. For children every day - archery (adults can also come), master classes in needlework in the "children's house", a children's disco. For adults: a little exercise (10 minutes) early in the morning on the seashore, water aerobics in the pool, yoga. Maybe there was something else
In "Primorye" there is also a cinema (summer). It was just visible from our room. I do not advise the cinema: tickets are like a real cinema (200-300 rubles), but films of the quality "Joy Casino dot com")))
*** Excursions ***
You can choose any tour, it's not difficult at all. There is a booth by the beach, and there are just stands where they always invite you on excursions. There are no problems with this. Departure is possible to any place of the Crimean peninsula. From the sanatorium itself, a couple of times a week, it seems, you can go to hiking Mount Voloshin. The tour is free.
*** General impression ***
For me, the rest in the boarding house "Primorye" justified the ratio of price and quality of service. I was pleasantly surprised by almost everything (perhaps because I was in the mood for the worst, as I was warned that everything in Crimea is far from new, and the level of good in hotels has not yet been reached). I liked everything! I remember the rest with joy and I want to return to the Crimea
