This season in the Moscow region, the number of beaches with swimming and recreation areas near the water reaches more than 200; special attention during inspections is paid to the duty of lifeguards and the safety of swimming areas. A RIAMO correspondent chose 10 large beaches near Moscow and found out what entertainment and prices are offered to vacationers.
Malibu Beach on the Pirogovskoye Reservoir
The hotel and entertainment complex "Malibu" is located in the "Bay of Joy" recreation area on the shore of the Pirogovsky reservoir, decorated in a tropical style. The beach is white sand, there are changing cabins, toilets, umbrellas, sun loungers. The swimming area is fenced off with buoys, and the bottom is cleaned regularly. There are several mini-hotels nearby, including the Black Pearl, stylized as Jack Sparrow's ship, restaurants, bars, swimming pools, etc. There is a sauna, rental of sports equipment, you can take a ride on a yacht-carriage, tents and barbecue gazebos are rented, beach parties are held, you can follow the schedule on the website.

Beach of the hotel "Yakhonty Avantel Istra"

The sandy beach has sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets and changing rooms, and free Wi-Fi. The swimming area is fenced with buoys. You can rent a rowing boat, go water skiing or go jet skiing. The sandy beach on the banks of the Volga meets the sanitary standards necessary for swimming. Here you can relax and swim completely free of charge. Freestyle beach at the quarry in Dzerzhinsky
On the shore of the sand quarry Dredger in the area ski resort, “Freestyle” has a swimming area approved by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. There are locker rooms, toilets, free horizontal bars and a volleyball court. Paid entertainment includes a sauna, jet ski rental, water skiing, wake surfing, tubing, etc. Professional instructors work aquatic species sports, classes take place in an area fenced off from the general city beach. Rublevo Beach
It is located a kilometer from the capital in the Zhivopisnaya Bay of the Moscow River - a very beautiful and clean place: sandy shore and bottom, next to the Linden Grove forest park.
There is a restaurant with a summer terrace, a cafe, playgrounds, trampolines, water slides and other entertainment, changing cabins, showers, sports grounds, drinking water fountains, parking for 400 places, boat and catamaran rental, sun loungers, foam shows and entertainment programs on weekends. Nearby is a water ski base with a water ski winch.

Khlebnikovo Beach
Two beaches: sandy and grassy, connected by a bridge. There is a cafe, toilet, drinking water, changing cabins.

Lake Senezh
Two sandy beaches, the distance between them is 600 meters. There is a road nearby - it can be noisy and dusty. The bottom is muddy, but the water is clean. There is a cafe. There are no toilets or changing cabins.
How to get there:
- by train from Leningradsky railway station to Podsolnechnaya station, or from the station. metro station "Voikovskaya" by bus N440 to Solnechnogorsk, then from the bus station by bus N25 or on foot.

Quarry in Lytkarino (Volkushinsky quarry)
The lake was formed on the site of a sand quarry and is fed by groundwater. The place is wonderful: white sand, pine trees, clear water. Nearby is the Tomilinsky forest park. There is paid parking, a cafe, and volleyball courts.

The beach started in the capital swimming season, and it's official. More than a hundred landscaped areas near the water have opened throughout the city, but Rospotrebnazdor recommends swimming in only eight of them. Only in these places does the service regularly monitor water quality and the sanitary and epidemiological situation. Beach "Levoberezhny"

Important: Swimming on the beach is temporarily suspended
In the warm season, “Levoberezhny” attracts not only residents of the district of the same name, but also, perhaps, all Muscovites from the northern part of the city. No wonder: this place has always been popular due to its fine sand, grassy lawns, fields for sports games and a large children's playground. After the improvement, the beach acquired additional infrastructure: wooden benches under a canopy, ping-pong tables, bicycle parking, new playgrounds with all kinds of climbing frames, bridges and swings. There are sun loungers right next to the shore where you can sit comfortably and, while sunbathing, look at the water and swimmers.
And, by the way, about swimming. The beach is located on the shore of a small bay extending from the Canal. Moscow. You can get to the water directly from the beach, or you can use special slopes from wooden decks. There is a first-aid post on site, and rescuers are on duty during the day.
Beach "Serebryany Bor - 2"

Serebryany Bor- in itself a very picturesque place (remember that it has the status of a specially protected natural area, read also: ). That’s why its beaches are so valuable: their cleanliness and amenities are especially monitored. The shore here is mostly covered with grass, but there is a sandy strip near the water. The swimming area is fenced, and here this is of paramount importance, because very nearby there is a pier for boats, yachts and boats.
As for the amenities, visitors have access to changing rooms, showers, toilets, and sun loungers for rent. There are regular entertainment programs for children. Next door is the Estate Park complex with a restaurant and its own coastal area with more comfortable sun loungers and gazebos. There is also a car park nearby, but to get into it you need to have a restaurant or yacht club visitor's pass. But even in this case, as townspeople note, there may not be any free places. Where is it more convenient to get to? public transport to the stop “Bereg Moskva River” - from here it’s a stone’s throw to the beach.
Beach "Serebryany Bor - 3"

The third beach of Serebryany Bor is much larger than the second. And much more popular: visitors note that on weekends you can hardly find a free place here. For the same reasons, it is worth thinking about the road in advance - parking a car, despite the presence of a parking lot, is problematic, but there is a bus stop in close proximity to the beach.
Beach No. 3 is cheerful and noisy, surrounded on both sides by recreation areas where music is always playing. Other entertainment: cafes, sports grounds, gazebos, playgrounds for children, a volleyball field and even a tennis court (for a fee). You can sunbathe on the sand near the shore or on the soft grass. The swimming area is fenced with buoys, and caution really doesn’t hurt here: behind the line, boats and jet skis are in full swing (read also: “25 places in Moscow where you can ride boats and catamarans”).
Stroginskaya floodplain

Sometimes people like to jokingly call the Stroginsky backwater “the sea” - it is so huge (more than a kilometer in length and almost two in width). It is located not so far from Serebryany Bor, but it is no less popular. Especially after the improvement of 2017-2018, when the coastal area, where the public beach had always been located, was equipped with wooden decking, benches and sun loungers. The paths, by the way, rise slightly above the ground - this made it possible to preserve the natural landscape of the park and, of course, the sandy beach.
The bay was created artificially in the 30s and acquired a reputation as one of the most environmentally friendly within the city. However, it was not always possible to officially swim here. Now, at the service of vacationers - not only playgrounds, cafes and children's playgrounds, but also neat beach with pleasant water. In summer people also enjoy jet skiing and sailing. Recreation area "Troparevo"

The beach at Troparevsky Pond is not large, but pleasant and well-maintained. The sandy area can rarely accommodate everyone, and therefore many have to sit on the grass (for convenience, there are sun loungers here, but one must think that they are rarely empty). The reservoir is fed by springs, so the water is often clear but cold. However, this rarely stops Muscovites: both adults and children swim (they usually have a “paddling pool” for them). And those who are afraid prefer to take a boat or catamaran - and just sail nearby!
In general, everything is in order with entertainment in this recreation area: the pond is located in the center of the Teply Stan landscape reserve, which has many children's and sports grounds, quests and even events are held on the summer stage (it can be seen from the north side of the pond).
Recreation area "Meshcherskoye"

Meshchersky pond in the same name natural park- artificial and ancient (they began to mark it on maps back in the 18th century). Picturesque corner attracts nature lovers, and the beautiful beach attracts everyone tired of the sun. After landscaping, many wooden structures grew on the sandy shore. There are changing rooms, benches under an umbrella, sun loungers, and just wooden flooring. Everything is done in the same style, which, of course, is also pleasing to the eye.
There are playgrounds for children in Meshcherskoye. The only negative: it's difficult to park. Visitors are strongly advised to use public transport - otherwise you will not get separated. For example, from the Skolkovo platform to the pond it takes only 15 minutes to walk at a brisk pace.
Black Lake

Black Lake really has a dark color - all because of the peat bottom (read also:). But you shouldn’t be afraid: the water here is considered very clean, and the reservoir itself is one of the most beautiful in Moscow. No wonder that local beach always, like a magnet, attracted the residents of Zelenograd - even when it could not boast of good infrastructure. Now the area has a much more landscaped appearance: wooden sun loungers and colorful playgrounds have appeared. You can play beach games, relax on benches in the shade of trees, play sports in the workout area and, of course, swim (there is a separate “paddling pool” for children).
School Lake

Children's playgrounds, workout zones, volleyball courts and a picturesque walking area - School Lake in the Silino settlement is famous for all this. The shore near the water is grassy, but in the beach area there is golden sand. There are also stationary sun umbrellas. The descent into the water is soft and safe, so children can also swim with adults. But for the little ones there is still a small “paddling pool” - for the sake of peace of mind for parents. There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the beach, but its capacity leaves much to be desired. An alternative is a bicycle: in the recreation area, along the shore, there are comfortable bicycle paths.
