Previously, joint studies were carried out by the university and the Commission for the Protection of Natural Areas, which determined a limit of 625 people that the islands could receive per day, and Love Beach, the most visited area, no more than 90 people, but the tourist impact significantly exceeded these figures due to the lack of proper control .
In addition, cases of pollution of the area and damage to the seabed have become more frequent, and risks of leakage of flammable substances from floating ships arriving at the islands. The problem has become very serious as the zone's ecosystem has experienced an ecological imbalance, which has affected even the people who live off tourism and the zone's marine resources.
