With the development of the banking sector and the provision of services, more and more often there is a need to order a certificate of no criminal record. A similar certificate is required when obtaining another citizenship, and not only in financial transactions. In such cases, people have a question "how and where to get it"? The portal of public services comes to the rescue in this situation, and in this article we will consider detailed instructions.

Even 10 years ago, such a certificate could be ordered only in special centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but with the advent of the Internet in people's lives, everything has become much easier. Now, obtaining a certificate is carried out using the State Service website, and in time everything takes no more than 1 month. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and consider everything in order.

Obtaining a certificate of no criminal record on the website of the public service

Open the main page of the site and go to the catalog of available services. Click on the second tab called "authorities".

This page will open before you, where you need to select the "Ministry of Internal Affairs" item.

Scroll down the page that opens and find the item "Certificate of no criminal record" there. At the time of this writing, it is located in the left column at the very bottom. Click on it and move on

The system will inform us about the sequence of steps that will be required from us and the first step will be to receive the service in electronic form. We put the corresponding checkbox.

Now a little to the right we find the button "get a service" and click on it.

In the window that opens, we will be offered to use an electronic signature to receive the service. If you have one, then we leave everything as it is. If you do not have an electronic signature, then uncheck the box and click "next".

So we went directly to filling out the application itself. Select the role of the applicant and how to get the certificate. If you order it for yourself, then we choose "in person" and "the body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the place of registration."

If you filled out information about yourself in your personal account, then it will automatically be entered into the section of information about the applicant. If you have not done this, then enter it in the appropriate fields. You will need an introduction:

• SNILS numbers
• your last name, first name and patronymic
• date and place of birth

The same goes for contact details. Check if they are correct or enter manually.

In the information of the identity document, select the type - "passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation". In the list, he is far from the beginning, but we are not afraid and we find the corresponding item. The rest of the data is either checked or entered manually.

Now fill in the registration address fields. Fill in the postal code, city name, street, house and apartment number.

If you live at the place of registration, then set the appropriate checkbox in the next step. If the address is different, then fill in the information about it.

Now upload a copy of your passport pages to the site. You can scan it or just take a photo, but so that all the information is easy to read. Please note that one file must be less than 300 KB.

At the last step of filling out an application for a certificate of no criminal record, we need to select the region and the name of the head of the unit. You probably don't know the last one, so we leave this field empty.

So we filled out the application and now we need to track its status in our personal account. As soon as you receive a notification about the consideration of your application, you can immediately pick it up at the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs you specified.
