In the fifties, mirror carp fry were released into the lake, the fish took root well and are bred in the reservoir. The lake is also rich in other fish, so good fishing provided here.

On west bank Orlinskoe Lake has a park of the former Stroganov estate. This a good place for walks. The park also has a nice beach.

Lake Vuoksa

Vuoksa is a lake located on the Karelian Isthmus in the Leningrad region. Not far from the lake is the city of Priozersk. It is the largest of the lakes that are part of the Vuoksa River basin. It’s not difficult to get to the lake; it’s located nearby railroad station Sinevo. The lake is of glacial origin, it has very unusual winding shores, where you can see many bays and reaches.

In the lake itself there are several small islands covered with pine trees. The average depth of the lake is about five meters. The greatest depth in the depression passing through the lake is 25 meters.

Lately, Vuoksa has become a favorite holiday destination. People come here to fish, pick berries, just walk through the forest with majestic pine trees, go boating, and, of course, swim in the hot summer. And in winter you can go skiing along paved paths through the forest and along the lake.

Lake Nevskoe

Lake Nevskoye is located in a picturesque place in the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region, about eight kilometers southwest of the village of Kuznechnoye. The most convenient way to get to the lake is by personal vehicle, but you can also use by shuttle bus from the village of Kuznechnoye to the village of Sevastyanovo. The lake is more populated on the northwestern side, so access to Nevsky from this side is better.

On the northern side, Nevskoye ends with the vast Dalniy Bay. You can swim in the lake, but it’s not convenient everywhere: the banks are quite high and in some places, especially on the western and eastern sides, swampy. However, you can find rocky outcrops that are quite convenient for swimming. The lake is surrounded by a vast mixed forest: deciduous and pine. So the place is great for a picnic and general outdoor recreation. Also Nevskoe - perfect place for fishing, it is rich in bream, roach, perch, and sometimes you can catch pike.

Vysokinskoye Lake

In the Leningrad region, 12 kilometers from the city of Primorsk, there is Lake Vysokinskoye. Its length is 6 kilometers and its width is 1.5 kilometers. The depth of the lake reaches 12 meters, mostly 4-5 meters deep. The Senokosnaya River flows into the lake.

Fishermen love the lake. Perch, ruffe, roach are well caught here, and sometimes you can catch large pike. Rarely, but there are bream, pike perch and ruff. The most best places on the lake for fishing - this is the confluence of the Senokosnaya River into the lake, the fish caught there is simply amazing!

But Vysokinskoye is famous not only summer fishing, people come here with pleasure to fish in winter, hoping for a good catch of perch, pike, and burbot. Ordinary townspeople also like to relax on the lake. Since the water in the lake is quite warm in summer, vacationers come with children.

Lake Hulguzi

Forty kilometers from St. Petersburg is located small lake with the unusually melodious name Hülgüzi. The length of the lake is just over a kilometer. Lake - favorite place migratory birds, especially in spring, when the entire lake is filled with melt water. Unfortunately, in summer Hulguzi becomes shallow, its banks become swampy and become difficult to access.

On the shore of the lake there is a village of the same name. Also, on the banks of Hulguzi you can see ruins Finnish village, which was located here before the Second World War. Around Hulguzi you can admire the heathland, overgrown with fragrant juniper, huge boulders, often found on the hillsides. The lake is also interesting for its relief, unusual from glacial origin.
