In cases when it is necessary to issue a document in an expedited manner, each of the above indicators is doubled. That is, if a Schengen visa to Italy is opened, you will have to pay 70 euros for the application to be considered expeditiously. 
If the application for a visa authorization document is submitted not directly to the Consulate, but through a visa center, then an additional service fee of two thousand rubles will need to be paid for its services.
A visa application center fee is charged for processing the documentation.
Russians transfer money to the institution's account through a bank, in rubles at the existing rate. In case of refusal to issue a permit, the money will not be returned.

In some cases, a visa to Italy for Russians can be issued without paying a visa fee. Exempt from it:
- children under the age of six;
- close relatives of citizens of the European Union or citizens of the Russian Federation who legally reside in the Schengen area;
- schoolchildren, students, graduate students and accompanying teachers (in the case of a tour for educational purposes);
- participants in scientific, artistic and cultural events, including university and other exchange programs;
- participants in official exchange programs organized by twin cities;
- disabled people and their accompanying persons;
- persons who travel for humanitarian purposes;
- participants of youth international sports events and their accompanying persons.
