Traveling around Spain on your own - routes. Route around Spain by car – voyage from Barcelona

Spain - amazing country. Because only here there exists at the same time the magical heritage of the Moors, and Roman aqueducts, and the no less fabulous Art Nouveau of Antonio Gaudi, and stunningly beautiful nature, and museums full of masterpieces from classical painting to cubism (of course, this is the birthplace of Velazquez, Goya and Picasso ), and - if desired - beach holiday. And all this in one country!

Spain trip plan #1: Catalonia and Castile

We went to Spain twice for 15 days. For the first time we started from Barcelona and ended in Madrid, that is, in half a month we managed to see Catalonia And Castile and Leon. No wonder we didn’t even see half the country in a month: Plaza de España 505 thousand sq. kilometers.

Trip plan:

  1. Barcelona
  2. Barcelona.
  3. Barcelona -Montserrat
  4. Barcelona - Girona - Figueres
  5. Barcelona.
  6. Barcelona.
  7. Barcelona. Departure to Burgos 23.00
  8. Burgos in 6.30 arrival. At 17.52departure to Salamanca, arrival at 20.06
  9. Salamanca
  10. Salamanca - Avila - Madrid.
  11. Madrid - Cuenca
  12. Madrid - Segovia
  13. Madrid — Toledo
  14. Madrid
  15. Madrid — Moscow

Blue lines on the map indicate radial trips from base cities, that is, trips with a return trip, green lines indicate movement only forward.

To search for an air ticket, we used the function “ difficult route”, since they decided that laying a circle while returning to Barcelona was not optimal. We flew Moscow-Barcelona, and then Madrid-Moscow. I talked about this in detail in the material. Therefore, we simply go to the search engine and enter the required cities.

Or look at the low price calendar:

Spain trip plan #2: Andalusia

The second trip, also for half a month, was to Andalusia. During this time, we studied the region in some detail to understand that we definitely want to come back here again: to visit our favorite towns and see new ones.

Here is our route around Andalusia on the map, on it the orange line indicates forward movement from Madrid V Granada, Malaga, Ronda, Cadiz, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Jerez, Seville, Cordoba(we stayed in all these cities for 1, 2 or 3 nights) and again we planned to head to Madrid.

Blue lines represent radial trips (i.e. round trips) from base cities. So we visited Jaen, Baezu, El Chorro ( Royal path), Setenil de las Bodegas And Medina Asaaru.

Green - move only forward.

Trip plan:

  1. Madrid — Granada
  2. Granada - Baeza - Jaen
  3. Granada-Malaga
  4. Malaga -
  5. Malaga-Ronda
  6. Ronda Setenil de las Bodegas. Ronda Cadiz
  7. Cadiz
  8. Cadiz-Sanlúcar de Barrameda
  9. Sanlúcar de Barrameda – Jerez
  10. Jerez - Seville
  11. Seville
  12. Seville
  13. Seville – Cordoba
  14. Cordoba – Medina
  15. Cordoba – Madrid (all day) – Moscow

We neglected the flight to Malaga because we wanted to take a walk around Madrid again, and our youngest daughter really wanted to go there (since she didn’t take part in the first trip). Therefore, logistics may seem suboptimal to some. If you are not going to visit Madrid, then you need to look for flights to Malaga. And the trip plan will be a circular route: Malaga - Ronda - Cadiz - Sanlucar de Barrameda - Jerez - Seville - Cordoba -Granada - Malaga.

The site is constantly updated, I post tips and routes, including detailed walks through the cities from these trips. Subscribe to the newsletter to know when new materials become available. Maps and markers for maps.me will be available very soon.

The Kingdom of Spain with sunny Barcelona is one of the most temperamental and vibrant countries. Bullfighting and flamenco are the hallmarks of this amazing region. And what mountains in Montseratte, what a sea! Having been here once, you return to these beautiful places again and again. We were here in May 2014, summer 2016, spring 2018 and will be there again. Our favorite place is Barcelona! We are a little biased towards Spain (we love it very much), but we will try to be objective in the article :)

There are a lot of different resorts in Spain and you can have a great holiday at each:

  • in Catalonia: Costa Brava, Costa del Maresme, Costa del Garraf, Costa Dorada;
  • in Valencia: Costa Blanca;
  • in Andalusia: Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz;
  • on West Bank: Galicia, Costa Verde, Cantabria;
  • on Balearic Islands: Formentera, Ibiza, Menorca, Mallorca;
  • in the Canary Islands: Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria.

But where to holiday in Spain cheaply? Which resort is better? The most fashionable youth resort in Spain it is undoubtedly Ibiza. It was recognized as such based on the results of 2017. Famous and famous young people spend hot days and nights here, inviting the most popular DJs from all over the world to their extravagant parties. If you love nightlife, partying is the place for you! You can read the best way to book a tour online in our article.

Best suited for a family holiday quiet resorts: Costa Brava, Mallorca, Costa Dorada. Colorful Barcelona surprises with its diversity of colors and lively streets, and on the Costa Blanca life never sleeps, especially at night! We ourselves went both to the Costa Brava (Lloret de Mar) on a tour (took on Travelata) and on our own to Barcelona.

List of proven resources where we have repeatedly found and purchased tours to Spain, Thailand, the Czech Republic, and the UAE:

Where is it cheaper in Spain?

Sagrada Familia and fountain in Plaza Catalunya

Where to relax in Spain as cheaply as possible? The popularity and infrastructure of the territory has great importance. Cheapest cities– these are ancient and incredibly cozy Lloret de Mar, Calella, Cambrils, Blanes, Pineda del Mar, Mallorca. But staying in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao or San Sebastian costs a little more.

First youth resort in Spain, of course Ibiza, followed by Benidorm - the little Spanish Las Vegas, Magaluf in Mallorca, Salou and Lloret de Mar. We like it best cozy and sunny Barcelona, which combines beach and relaxing holiday along with the stormy nightlife, shopping and beautiful architecture Gaudi.

Should you go on vacation on your own or buy a tour?

Using the services of a tour operator is very easy and is often cheaper than going on your own. For example, back in 2014, we flew on a tour to Spain for only 16 thousand rubles for one person (32 thousand for two). But traveling on your own will cost less if you plan to visit several countries (as we did in 2016 - France, Italy

To buy cheap tour to Spain you will have to make an effort, and not just pay for a trip and pack your bags. 🙂 When buying a tour, you need to take into account all the facts: from the tour operator, where to book the cheapest tours to where exactly to look for and buy a tour. You also need to understand in advance what to buy cheaply in Spain as a souvenir for family and friends (usually magnets, olive oil, football paraphernalia, and jamon).

Numerous travel agencies offer a wide range of varied tour packages. Last minute tours to Spain are much cheaper than scheduled flights. In this case, you need to wait until the last minute, but in the end the last-minute tour may not be enough for you (it’s up to you to take the risk or not). But you can buy tours for almost half the price by purchasing tours in winter or spring with early booking (this is what we personally do).

Photos from our trip to Barcelona - view from Park Guell

At this time, tour operators promise a big discount. The cheapest tours can be purchased even 70% cheaper than their regular cost. We ourselves flew on a tour at the beginning of May, when the weather in Spain is conducive to walking. The Internet is literally replete with many thousands of bright and colorful electronic offices of travel companies.

You can buy or book cheap tours to Spain from Moscow without leaving your home. Above we showed three proven sites for finding cheap tours to Spain -,. If you see discounts on the tour you have chosen, we advise you to book immediately! Prices change every 20-30 minutes.

The cheapest tours to Barcelona from Moscow. How to buy?

The cost of a tour depends on many factors: season, number of days, place of departure, place of arrival, hotel category and type of food. The cheapest trips to Spain will cost just over $300 for 7 nights without meals in a two-star hotel for one person on the Costa del Maresme.

Of course, if you decide to go on vacation as a savage, you can rent a bungalow at a lower price, but you have to pay for comfort. In addition, cheap tours to Spain from Moscow will eliminate your problems with choosing a carrier and arriving at your destination from the airport. And air tickets can often cost you more than the cost of the tour. 🙂 Therefore, it is more profitable (if you plan to fly only to Spain) to consider a trip!

Planning a cheap holiday in Spain on your own

From Barcelona you can fly to nearby countries for 3-4 thousand rubles,
for example to Portugal

Going to the seaside in Spain in the summer on your own with the whole family is not an easy task. Not everyone can organize and carry out a trip, anticipate and calculate all possible expenses. But when traveling on your own, you can visit several countries at once, save on accommodation and spend 10-14 days much more exciting than a tour holiday. It’s worth planning everything: from the time, place and duration of your vacation, through excursions and beach holidays, to buying souvenirs and returning home.

Cheap housing in Spain. How to find it correctly?

Apply for a visa to Spain yourself

A Schengen visa to Spain can be issued independently through BLS Spain visa centers located in Moscow or other regions. We have described everything in more detail.

Summarize!

The best way to spend unforgettable days in Spain is:

  • go to Ibiza or Barcelona - the center of 24-hour entertainment. Personally, we recommend Barcelona more!
  • great family holiday awaits you in Lloret de Mar and Calella;
  • the most favorable time: from June to September;
  • Stock up on a pocket phrasebook, a good mood and all the wonders of Spain will unfold before you.

It would seem that it would be easier to write a review about the country in which we spent 15 days. However, I find it difficult to review Spain.

Firstly, Galya and I had not just a vacation, but a trip. Moreover, the journey is independent.
Secondly, we were not in all of Spain, but in its northern and central regions. Therefore, we cannot judge the resorts of Valencia, Alicante and the entire part of the country “in great demand among vacationers.”
Thirdly, from this European country we expected more.

Now, being at home, remembering the cities of Spain, nature and sights, I would say that I liked the country. But, while there, in Spain, we more than once swore and cursed the Spaniards for their... sloppiness.

One of the squares in Spain

What did you like about Spain?

1. Historical and cultural monuments. This is truly great! Thus, the cathedral in the city of Burgos, the square and cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, Mount Montserrat and the monastery, the palace of the Kings of Navarre in Olita, Madrid, Toledo, the canyon of the Sil River - all this is impressive and changes consciousness. Here we saw much more than we expected. And, of course, flamenco delights! I have a particularly vivid impression of the Parador de Santo Estevo hotel and, in general, of the entire chain of these hotels. We will devote a separate article to paradors.

2. Convenience of booking accommodation. We mainly used the services hotelscombined And airbnb.

3. Ease of eating. There are many grocery stores, markets, cafes, restaurants, bars, and canteens in Spain. Sometimes we thought it was too much, that the Spaniards were simply “obsessed” with food. Food is literally at every turn.

3. Comfortable, high quality good roads. There are paid ones; if we traveled along them, the trip would cost us a pretty penny. But parallel to the toll roads there are free ones, and of the same good quality. It took no longer than toll roads. This is very convenient for independent travelers. I'm pleased with the choice itself.

4. Convenient car rental. Or we were lucky with the choice of company, but everything went smoothly here. They picked it up quickly, the car is good, our complaint about a scratch during the inspection was included in the document without any questions. They handed it over just as quickly in another city. What was also pleasing was that there were no frozen funds on the card, and I didn’t have to wait a month for a refund. We will also tell you separately about renting a car in Spain.

Rent-a-car office in Barcelona

5. There is a good convenient bus network between cities.

Intercity buses Alsa

6. It is convenient to travel around the country by trains.

Metro in Barcelona

7. Every city has Tourist Information Centers – tourist offices, where your questions will be answered and where you can get a free map of the city.

Field office

8. Holidays in Spain and travel around Spain can be done on a budget. Prices are more affordable compared to other European countries. Austria, Switzerland, Denmark are much more expensive. Find out, .

9. quite simple.

What you didn't like about Spain

1. We arrived without luggage. At the airport they simply told us: “Your luggage did not fit on the plane.” That's how it is - it didn't fit?!!! Two regular suitcases of appropriate size, checked in on time.

2. At the same El Prat airport they did not tell us when our luggage would arrive. Either in the morning at 9 o’clock, or in the evening, maybe the next day, or maybe in a couple of days. For two days we called the phone number indicated on the receipt for lost luggage - no one answered the phone. As a result, in Barcelona, the city where we arrived from Russia and where we wanted to visit museums and exhibitions, we had to change plans in order to be at home at the moment when they called us that our suitcases had been delivered.

Advice: when planning your trip, leave 2-3 days for your arrival city. Galya and I take into account that problems may arise with luggage, so we leave 2-3 days in the arrival city for walks and sightseeing. If baggage collection is delayed, you have time to wait for your suitcases and receive them.

3. In cities it is difficult to find street names. Because of this, it is quite difficult to navigate the terrain. By the way, on the way back to Russia we bought tickets for the Barcelona-Moscow plane with a transfer in Germany, in the city of Frankfurt on the Main. Moreover, we took a seven-hour layover so that we could walk around the city. When we went out into the city, we simply shed tears of happiness: at every intersection there are street signs - it’s immediately clear where to go and where to turn.

4. We are faced with the fact that the city map for tourists may be incorrect. Those. Instead of one street, a completely different one is marked. It is absolutely impossible to find your home using such a map! This happened in the city of Santander.

Galya explains to Antonio Gaudi how to build...

5. What surprised us: the residents of Santander living in the area where our street was located did not know their area and did not know the streets in their area.

6. Streets in Spain can be “crooked”, i.e. an appendix or driveway branches off somewhere from one street, on which there may not be names or numbering of houses.

7. The owners of the house themselves, knowing that they have the wrong card, do not think about the fact that it would be worth warning the guests about this.

8. In Spain, the necessary information is rarely available. Thus, there may be no signs directing to a widely advertised museum, or there may be no plan for how to get to the museum. We encountered this in Barcelona when we spent 2 hours searching for the CosmoCaixa Science Museum!

There may also be no signs, identification marks and information about intercity buses and flights. Search as you want, figure it out as best you can!

On central station Sants Estacio there is no information about the station's opening hours. So we were faced with the fact that the station closes at night, and all the tourists spend the night on the street in front of the entrance, spreading bags, boxes, and newspapers on the asphalt. Many wander around the building like somnambulists, trying to find information at least about what time the station will open.

We arrived in Barcelona from Madrid at 3 am and were surprised to find that we could not enter the station building. We learned from someone that the station will open at 5 am. And our train is at 5:11. We were tormented by guessing whether we would have time to buy tickets, find the ticket office, find our way and get on the train. The station opened at 4:37. Why?!!

9. All of Barcelona and many other cities, large ones at that, central cities reeked of urine. A particularly painful smell near the central railway station all in the same Barcelona. At night we realized the reason. The station is closed, there is not a single toilet near the station. Parking lots are closed, cafes, pubs, eateries are locked.

By the way, at the station itself there was no limit to surprise: the sign points in one direction, but there is no establishment there. A caring station employee explains where to go and how to get there, and points in the opposite direction to the sign. When I say, what about the signpost, it points in the other direction! The employee shrugs his shoulders, as if he is seeing this strange inscription for the first time.

10. In addition, we were faced with the fact that the information indicated when booking accommodation high speed internet, may be slightly alive or absent altogether. For those who planned to work on the Internet or search for information about subsequent points of their trip, this is very inconvenient.

11. Many Spaniards write addresses not by the name of the house and street, but in some strange, unreadable way.

12. Most Spaniards don't speak Spanish English language. The situation is like in Russia: asking something in English is like playing roulette.

— Leave 2-3 days for the city of arrival. If your luggage is lost, you can calmly resolve this issue.

- Take it with you

— Considering that Spaniards do not always write street names and numbers on houses, take a navigator with you when walking around the city. Select detailed maps for it in advance.

— And I want to add one more important thing. In August in Spain it is very hot and stuffy. If possible, take any other month for your trip. It will be especially difficult for people with heart disease.

— Plan your trip and book accommodation, bus, train, and museum tickets in advance — at home. Our personal experience shows that in Spain the Internet is quite often slow and you shouldn’t expect that while traveling you will quickly pick up and order everything you need.

These are the ambivalent feelings left after traveling around Spain. It seems cool, but the aftertaste is unpleasant.

Perhaps this not very pleasant review of Spain came from the fact that we traveled a lot in different regions and visited many cities. You can see our route around Spain.

If you go to one place to a certain hotel, then your review of Spain will be completely different. We will be happy to hear your feedback and post it on the website. Let our readers have several opinions. Write to us by email [email protected]

Sincerely,

How much will it cost to travel to Spain on your own and how much money should you take with you? We will plan the trip on our own, find out all the nuances of travel costs, ticket bookings, and food costs.

Hotel prices in Spain

For a moment, in Spain there are almost 140,000 hotels of various sizes in big cities and even small villages. The choice of both prices and services is more diverse in major cities, but there are also 115 of them.

The prices are surprising in some places. The minimum price on Booking in Spain is 456 rubles for the El capazo apartment in the town of Hoyos. Apartment with 2 bedrooms for 4 people! There is air conditioning and a terrace, and there are mountains around.

The maximum price reaches 60,092 rubles for a stylish Fuentimonte apartment with a garden in Suez.

Most tourists from Russia plan independent holiday V Barcelona, Madrid, Seville And Valencia. This is also due to convenient transport links, proximity to the sea and attractions.

Prices for food and meals

The cost of a trip to Spain for two largely depends on taste preferences and places.

Food prices in Spain in 2019 increased slightly compared to 2019 for individual products. Olive oil prices increased by 8.7%, legumes and fish by 3%, and fruits by 4.1%. Overall growth of 1.6% per most products went unnoticed. Vegetables, on the contrary, have fallen in price somewhat. The price of whiskey has decreased, but red wine has risen slightly.

What to see and cost of excursions

In Barcelona alone there is a huge amount, to say nothing of the whole of Spain. Barcelona itself makes life a little easier for tourists tourist bus Bus Touristic. Double-decker buses networks run along certain routes every 5 to 15 minutes. You can get off at any of the stops and later board another bus of the same network. The route is laid along the embankment and takes into account the main tourist places. The cost of a ticket for one day is 28 euros, for 2 - 39 euros. Children under 12 years old can buy such a ticket for 16 and 20 euros, respectively.

Transport fares

The cost of 1 ticket in public transport in Spain, including the metro, is from 2.20 euros to 7.8 euros, depending on the distance of the trip. The ticket must be validated before travel. There are several types of tickets, each with its own time and distance restrictions.

The most convenient, T-10 ticket for 10 trips on different transport. It is not limited by time, it can be transferred to another, used in different tariff zones of the city. Such a ticket costs 10.20 euros. Tickets must be kept until the end of the trip.

Public transport in small towns does not operate from 13:30 to 15:00 - lunch. Intercity bus transportation is cheaper than train travel, and during sales periods it is cheaper to fly by plane.

  • Transport in Spain is a separate topic that requires careful study. It is most convenient to rent a car, especially if you are traveling with a family or group.

The cost largely depends on the landlord. In smaller companies the price will be lower and you will receive nice bonuses. For example, insurance or, if necessary, a child seat. Young drivers between 23 and 25 years old need to pay a special fee of 18.58 euros per day. Driving experience - from one year.

The cost of 1 day of car rental is from 308 rubles for a Ford Ka (manual) or from 2,455 rubles for a Seat Ibiza or similar (automatic). For this price you can rent a car at the airport or in advance through the website. Rentals in the city will cost more. The cost of gasoline in Spain in January 2019 is 1.3 euros ~ 100 rubles per liter.

Life hack, what can you save on?

These tips will help you plan your independent trip cheaper:

  • We recommend installing the application from RoomGuru on your smartphone, so you can choose any living space even upon arrival in the city, very convenient on a business trip or during an unplanned vacation.
  • The service will help you profitably insure your health and life while traveling; the search engine shows results from all major insurance companies; you just have to choose the most profitable option, but it’s better not to skimp on your health.
  • Air tickets? Experienced, we recommend using Aviasales, it searches even among low-cost airlines.

Hello, dear travelers!

We decided to tell you about our adventure. It began, of course, long before departure. Reservations, hotel selection, routes, tickets, doubts. Luckily I had enough patience. The choice from Montenegro and Germany gradually moved towards Spain. And this is what came out of it.

Summer! July! Arrival in Barcelona at 8 am. The carrier "VUELING" provided a decent plane, everything was fine. Thanks to the video about the exit from the arrival area to the AEROBUS bus stop, watched on the eve of departure, we confidently follow the route to the airbuses. Boarding in 2 doors: the driver pays in cash (5.90 euros). To the center. A girl with an electronic ticket scanner passes the door.

After some 10 minutes we are at Plaza Catalunya. Hot, with fountains, and spacious. Relatively quickly deciding which direction our shelter is going to go to settle in. The Android application “Maps. me." It works offline, build a route and go ahead. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Hostal "BALMES CENTRO" is quite a decent place, an authentic house in the Eixample area. All hotel bookings were made on Booking.com. The information is completely up-to-date, the photos of the rooms correspond to reality. Wifi is decent. Our room has a nice little patio balcony, a nice spot overlooking the patio. We had breakfast and dinner there, discussing our plans for the day. After discussing all our options with the girl administrator in scanty English and leaving our things in the storage room, we went out for a walk and had a snack. The time difference is +1 hour, we had to adjust it a little.

We arrived on Sunday, so Piazza di Spagna with its magical fountain beckoned to us.

We moved early and didn’t regret it. Because we wanted to decide on the route to the Montserrat monastery that we so desired. Right there on the square, at the information kiosk, we purchased package tickets for this trip called Trans Montserrat. Selected gear railway Cremallera de Montserrat to get to the mountain. The package includes round trip metro travel, a train, and two funiculars from the monastery up and down the mountain itself. Cost 30 euros per person. More than profitable.

But I digress. Plaza de España and adjacent hill Montjuic. The most beautiful place Barcelona is spacious and cozy, with lots of cool nooks and vibrant views. After walking around before the show and refusing to let a Russian-speaking woman walk with her to the Jewish cemetery, we sat down on the steps in front of the art museum.

Take some water with you, 0.5 liter costs from 1 to 3.5 euros. After waiting for the show and enjoying it and many other events, we decided to rest for today.

Early rise and here she is, hot Barna high season, fortunately there is air conditioning everywhere, both in transport and premises. Except for metro stations, unfortunately. Sometimes a couple of minutes at the station was exhausting. The road along the route was interesting and quite fast. I won’t describe the beauty; a lot of photos for memory and a million details await you on Mount Montserrat. A must visit. Indeed. Our friends did not visit this stunning place in the mountains, and Barcelona did not leave a mark on their hearts. You decide;)

In advance, through specialized websites, tickets for cable car to Montjuic hill, Sagrada Familia. These visits went according to plan and without difficulties. We advise you to buy tickets online, it incredibly speeds up the visiting process.

Observation deck Columbus statues in the port of Barcelona. Do you want to take the elevator to the top for 6 euros and see the city in its very heart? That way. By arriving early, you will save yourself from the queue and will be completely alone at the top. You can figure out what to do next without any prompts.

Having seen the further route from above, we go deep into the pier to “Maremagnum”. Shopping mall. There is everything and even more. Everyone to the Aquarium, it’s not far away. When you leave the store, don’t rush to leave, take a walk around, it’s free and fresh.

Who's hungry? Everything is certain. Networks Carrefour,El Corte Inglés, is everywhere. For those who are not economists, cafes, restaurants and mobile trays with goodies are waiting for you. We went to Carefurs, both in our area and after, to the Glories hypermarket, near the Akbar Tower, found by chance. The Wok buffet restaurant chain pleased us with fresh, delicious food for every taste. True, only in the Barn there is a sign at the distribution point with a reminder “don’t waste food, please.” And the staff, looking tired right from the opening.

And who wants to buy things during the discount season (it’s July here)? C&A, Mango and other worthy brands are at your service. Quite inexpensive and high quality. Our suitcase became quite heavy.

Walk, search, enjoy this city to the fullest. I won't describe our other sightseeing visits, our emotions are a little mixed about the Sagrada. But to each his own, choose Park Guell - wonderful, Sagrada - excellent, Touristik bass city tour - everything is for you.

We didn’t go to the coast, although everything is accessible, the Barcelona beach itself (take the metro). If you want a couple of stops outside the city, 10 euros and you’re at sea. But this is because the second stage of our journey, Pineda de Mar, awaited us. Coastal town towards Blanes. The same 10 euros for two. And we are at the Pineda train station.

Our hotel near the Church of SAINT MARY

Quiet place called "SABBIOTE". It is noisy there only when the Spanish women are cleaning. And because there is no sound insulation, it is noisy. And in terms of the furnishings and contents of the room, this is a strong 3*.

It’s a bit far from the sea, but it has its own charm. Namely, a walk along a crowded street to the coast. Solarium on the roof. By tradition, we only dine outdoors at a table. The chapel opposite rhythmically strikes 10 o'clock. Sangria, jamon, tomatoes, peaches. This is a relaxed and well-deserved rest after running around Barna.

The sea is quite rough (the depth deepens almost immediately), but it is acceptable in the morning and evening. The beach is ok, well maintained, clean and “prickly”. Small pebbles are annoying, but not critical. It is unknown whether there are changing cabins, I couldn’t find them. Having purchased magnets, a couple of days later we find ourselves at a performance by drummer groups. This is something indescribable. And without speakers in the waist area it’s difficult to evaluate. Clean energy. An explosion of feelings.

Well done, Pineda knows how to entertain himself. 5 days flew by like one.

I’ll tell you separately about our trip to the town of Tossa de Mar. Amazing place, rocky and beautiful. For me, the most beautiful and spectacular. Lots of photos and videos. If you stay there, I envy you.

We return to the capital of Catalonia, only to get to the capital of Spain. A couple of hours on the AVE train (50 euros per person) and at a speed of 300 km/h we arrive at Atocha station.

Train "AVE"

Madrid greets us with 40 degree heat and pomp.

This is the imperial capital. This time we live on St. Anna Square. Which is a stone's throw from the Square of the Sun.

We arrived at about 17:00, so when we went out to the strawberry bear we fully verified that the name of the square was correct. The heat of 60 degrees is also provided by the heat from the heated paving stones underfoot. Crowd and liveliness is the definition of a capital. Madrid is no exception.

The room in the MADRID STAR hostal is spacious and bright. The most comfortable and largest bed ever seen. Everything is on the level.

Walking around Madrid is comparable to a mini trip. Around every corner, world-famous masterpieces await you. New emotions and adventures. Being a little familiar with the formation of Spain, I understand where the funds received by the kings from their campaigns were invested. I see. All the pomp, glitter and amazing palaces amaze the imagination.
