Moving to Spain: Terms, prices, life and so on. Personal experience part 2

Sent 06 April 2016 - 11:50

As promised, I continue. What has already written about moving, you can read here. So that it was not boring, I will hand over pictures

Driver's license

With driver's license in Spain. Even if you had Russian rights, after six months after receiving the Resident status, you will need to receive local rights. In this regard, the Ukrainians were more lucky, whose driver's license from this year is recognized in Spain.

No, on the first one can somehow leave, put the marks in Andorra about the departure .. But then, how a penalty will pay a penalty, I have to somehow solve the problem.

In general, moving to Spain, it is necessary to immediately come up that additional expenses will arise when receiving Spanish driver's license.

As for the cost of receiving local driver's license, you will have to pay € 600 - this is for the passage of the theoretical and practical course in the driving school, the design of medical certificates and payment of exams and taxes.

Two attempts are given to the exams, if you do not pass - you will have to pay another € 124 for another attempt.
I will say that personally I could not pass the exam with two attempts, since due to the weak level of knowledge of the language, it was impossible to adequately prepare for the course of the theory.

Taxes in Spain ... (((

Yes Yes .. go to unpleasant. For their own housing and the car in Spain will have to pay annually taxes.

A 2-room ownership tax is about € 300-400 for residents to the local budget, for non-residents - federal tax is approximately the same in size.

In addition, the local municipality needs to pay approximately another € 80 euros per year of garbage tax. whatit concerns the car, the tax on it is about € 60-100 per year.

But in Spain with taxes, everything is somehow in the divine. If someone likes to compare, there is a fresh sign, for the taxes of 2015, where Europe is compared:

Food

As for accommodation costs, our family of three spends € 500 - 600 monthly on the products and household chemicals.

I will note a smaller assortment of goods than in supermarkets, for example, northern Italy, but it is much better and, most importantly, is cheaper than in the same Moscow. I don't even write about quality. In the first four months, I nailed Puzo. I had to discipline.

Dinner for two in a good restaurant in Spain will cost an average of € 40 - 50.

Still about Spain. Sports and entertainment

If you want to visit the fitness club, then the monthly subscription to the group in the morning watches will cost you at € 32 for residents and three times more expensive for non-residents.

For example, Aikido classes will cost monthly at € 50. I and my friend also lovers of extreme fishing. So I made a license for an underwater hunt, at a time for a period of 3 years: I paid € 30 for the medpsum and € 20 per license, then so if anyone is interested.

Medicine in Spain

I will note the availability of medical insurance. As you know, since 2011, in Spain, they stopped issuing social insurance to foreigners, except for Catalonia. But still according to state insurance for me for a very long time. So at first we issued private insurance (they did not even know that in Catalonia they have the right to free). And then, when I learned, I got used to .. So extended.

Probably the price is interesting. In general, for € 43 per month for each family member in Spain, you can count on outpatient medical care, and after 6, and in some companies - from 11 months of the contract, and in stationary. We took ADESLAS.

Medical insurance also applies to the urgent assistance of dentists (however, if we take expanded insurance, it is 8 euros more expensive).

But the medicines in Spain are expensive, so it is better to follow their health.

Training, school, mugs

In Spain, it seems to me that there are excellent opportunities for learning and developing children. You can visit free schools, but if desired, the maximum for € 400 (this includes school transport and meals) you can make a child in a private school or kindergarten.

Almost in any city of Catalonia, with a population of 10 thousand people, there is a private Russian school and kindergarten, but they are more expensive.

Well, for € 60 a month in Spain, you can pick up an interesting circle for a child or section.

As for the language barrier, you will easily overcome it, because Spanish is quite light enough, and in some cultural center for 3 months you will help to learn it at a sufficient level (the intensive course costs somewhere € 200).
.............................................................................

People who moved to Spain, who already lives here, tell me how do you rate Spain?

I, for example, infuriates Commidadd. Everything is incomprehensible, still not figured out. Who is where to whom and what pays. If I bought something for the second time, I would definitely chose my own home. And even better - I would build.
