With his light hand, the Polotsk Jesuit College achieved its highest dawn and already in 1812 received the status of an academy. It was he who designed the “mechanical head”. Some said that the head was controlled by monks.Today, the work of Gabriel Gruber has been recreated based on surviving literary sources.
