How to go on vacation. Northern Cyprus

Any trip abroad is a wonderful way to make new acquaintances, expand your horizons and even learn English language. Many people can travel abroad for free in 2020. Volunteer work, corporate trips abroad - all this allows you to travel completely free of charge.

The most popular volunteer programs of 2020 include:

Study and work programs

Study and work - these words do not sound tempting at all. However, in reality this is one of the best ways enjoy the fullness of life and expand your horizons abroad. Language courses, which are organized several times a year for residents of some countries, are very popular. Over a period of time, a group of people is recruited and sent abroad to improve knowledge. Typically standard courses last three months.

Many people know about these promotions. They represent short trips, a social package, an opportunity to make new acquaintances, relax at sea and even earn money. Of course, this work will not improve the tourist’s qualifications as a specialist in a certain field, but interesting vacation and improvement of intercultural communication experience is guaranteed.

Internships

An internship is another way to travel abroad for free. Typically, young people from 23 to 20 years old with higher education are sent for internships. Most large American companies look for employees abroad, provide them with training and internships, and then offer them to get a job and stay abroad forever.

To get an internship at one of these companies, you need to decide on the field of activity in which you can work. Then, on the Internet or in advertisements, it is recommended to view relevant and recent posts. The last step is to write a letter to the director or organizer of the program.

Standard conditions for courses and internships include payment for accommodation, travel, meals, ticket costs, consular fees, and visa processing. Companies may pay “bonuses” to particularly diligent and hardworking people during their internship. These are small bonuses, but they provide significant assistance to a person.

Trainings and seminars

A corporate event abroad is a trip of an entire team of employees from a certain company abroad to participate in a seminar or conference. This is one of the methods of international cooperation that allows the exchange of information, new knowledge, developments and technologies. Such trips abroad will allow you to get acquainted with famous people.

The contacts and acquaintances made in this informal environment can have a positive impact on career growth in the future.

You can leave and participate in trainings only if such an opportunity has been presented to your company. You can also add your own company to the list of candidates for participation in the seminar. Then you need to wait for a response from the organizer.

Such events take a little time. Mostly they take from three days to two weeks. During this period, several days are devoted to conferences, discussion and solution of important problems.

Conducting training

The rest of the time can be spent relaxing at sea, sightseeing and taking part in excursions.
Organizers of trainings or seminars cover all expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals for participants.

Lotteries and drawings

Not everyone can travel abroad on their own. To visit foreign countries for free, you can participate in lotteries or sweepstakes in 2020 and try to win. This is one of the available options. As a rule, each program defines the conditions for participation.

The lottery involves a random selection of participants. There is no questionnaire to fill out before participation. You will need to answer the questions only after the lottery, if you manage to win. Winners are determined by random method, most often special programs are used for this.

Popular lotteries include.

Some people have the misconception that this card allows you to travel to the USA for free. In fact, this is a lottery that is very popular all over the world and allows you to legally stay in the country.

This action was approved by the US Congress and has legal status. Once a year, 50,000 people from all those who submitted applications are identified using a computer.

People from all over the world can participate in this lottery. Knowledge of language, education, age does not matter. However, this program also has one caveat - if more than fifty thousand immigrants have left for the United States from any country over the past five years, then it cannot participate in the drawing.

Participation in the lottery is absolutely free. The application is submitted online. This takes a few minutes, but obtaining a Green Card takes one or even a year and a half. It gives you the opportunity to legally reside and work in the United States.

Of course, this is not a free trip for entertainment purposes, but it will save you money and give you the opportunity to work there legally. For many, the Green Card becomes a lucky ticket to a new life and an opportunity forever.

Typical American street

Is it possible for Russians to get to Egypt after the ban on charters? Of course, not just one, but at least three. We will consider all the options, you just have to choose the most suitable one.

Note. We are keeping our finger on the pulse, monitoring Egyptian news on the resumption of flights with Russia, as well as offers from travel agencies. The article remains relevant as of the first quarter of 2020 and contains all the necessary links. After reading this material, only the lazy will not be able to get to their beloved Sharm el-Sheikh or Hurghada, as well as to fresh Dahab, Tabu, or Sal Hashish. We strongly recommend reading the comments under the article (the most recent ones are at the beginning), they contain reviews and many useful tips from Russians who have already visited Egypt after the ban.

Many Russians are interested in when Egypt will be opened to tourists, whether this will happen in 2019, and what the news is talking about today. For two years, reports, assumptions, statements by officials at the rank of minister with forecasts, even official forecasts appeared in the press every now and then. We all remember the statement of the former Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov, when the opening of Egypt was promised for the beginning of 2017. However, unfortunately, the high-ranking official’s predictions did not come true.

Will this happen in 2020?

However, after V. Putin’s visit to Egypt, there is still a feeling that the ice has broken. At a meeting between the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Minister civil aviation Egypt, held on December 15, 2017 in Moscow, an intergovernmental protocol on cooperation was signed.

The ministers said that work will be carried out to resume regular services between Moscow and Cairo on flights of Aeroflot and Egypt Air. What about our favorite and affordable charters to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh airports? But this is the “task for 2019,” as the ministers stated vaguely after the meeting. But, as we see, it’s already 2020.

Fathi: “We also agreed to continue our contacts in the spring, around April. Negotiations regarding a solution for the remaining airports in Egypt will continue."

It is noteworthy that it was after the meeting of Russian and Egyptian officials in April that regular flights between the countries were finally established. True, for now only one airline - Russian Aeroflot - will fly only to the Egyptian capital. There is no news or even hints regarding charter flights yet.

In April, after news of negotiations and the opening of regular service, most observers expressed cautious optimism and predicted the opening of charter service at the beginning of the autumn-winter season (and after the close of the high season in Russian resorts), approximately at the end of September - beginning of April 2019. As we can see, unfortunately this did not happen. Considering the absence of not only negotiations, but even announcements and statements, the vast majority of analysts now note the implementation of a negative scenario: the opening of a charter service is postponed indefinitely.

On November 17, 2019, according to Interfax, the Russian side again confirmed its concerns about the safety of tourist transfers. It was once again announced that the airports of favorite resorts do not meet Russian safety standards. Moreover, negotiations will continue only in 2020. Based on this, we can safely assume that holidays in Egypt during the 2020 season with flights from their native Russia will again be unavailable for Russian tourists.

It seems that the issue of establishing a massive flow of tourists to Egypt is linked to the restoration of peace and the economy, control over security throughout the Middle East and North Africa after the active phase of the Syrian conflict and the fight against terrorists. Apparently, until the Russian authorities are firmly convinced that the situation is entirely under the control of the legitimate authorities, and at the same time, mutual state interests in economic and military cooperation are respected, they should not expect the restoration of charter flights. Not a single analyst will be able to give more or less specific forecasts in this regard, but we can say with confidence that these processes can go on for years and decades.

The largest tourism operators organize tours to Egypt based on regular Moscow-Cairo-Moscow transportation, but due to the high cost of tickets, such packages are not popular among Russians. A direct flight from Moscow to Cairo costs about $600 roundtrip, plus $150 for flights to the resort and other expenses.

Alternatively, a Russian tourist can create a tour for himself by booking flights, hotels and transfers on the websites of airlines and hotel aggregators. We tried to create several such tourist “packages” with flights, and, in general, we came up with a cost of about 90-120 thousand rubles for 7-10 days of holiday in a 4* all-inclusive hotel with a flight to the resort from Moscow via Cairo.

What should those who miss you do? Don’t give up pleasure, especially since finding a decent alternative for reasonable money is not so easy. Waiting for who knows how long is also not the most pleasant option, especially if you want to relax right now. Egypt has traditionally been the most popular mass holiday destination during the New Year, Christmas and New Year holidays, May holidays for our compatriots, and it is not at all easy to find a replacement for it, both in terms of budget and other characteristics.

Tour to Egypt from Minsk

Having called about a dozen Belarusian travel agencies, the editors chose this company as an example for the article. The service is “turned” towards Russian tourist, all means of remote communication are properly debugged. There is a direct Moscow number, online payment in Russian rubles, a meeting with a sign is provided for those arriving by train from Russian cities, transfer to the airport for departure or to a hotel for an overnight stay, booking a hotel or inexpensive apartments in Minsk for a comfortable transit stay.

Step 1: choosing a tour

First of all, you should choose a suitable hotel on the company’s website. Considering that Travelhouse offers tours to Egypt from Belarus from all tour operators, there should be no problems with the choice. Keep in mind that you can buy tours departing from Minsk and other cities of Belarus, as well as from Kyiv, Vilnius and Warsaw.

Belarusian operators have found their bearings well; for the 2020 season, the flight program to both Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh has been significantly expanded. Moreover, now Russians can also get to Egypt from regional cities such as Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel. But most importantly, according to the laws of the market, since the number of offers has increased, prices have noticeably decreased, which, of course, citizens of the Russian Federation will appreciate.

Tours to Egypt with departure from Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland are also in demand. The company’s procedure for selling and organizing tours from Kyiv, Vilnius and Warsaw has long been established - Belarusians themselves often use “foreign” offers due to better prices, availability of “last minute” offers and daily flights.

Step 2: execution of the contract

To complete the agreement, you will need to send scans of the international passports of all travelers by email. Having received and signed the agreement, send a copy of it back in the same way.

Step 3: payment

Russians can pay for a trip to Egypt through Minsk, Vitebsk, Mogilev or Gomel in two ways. The first is cashless payment. You will be invoiced in Russian rubles, you pay it using online banking or at any branch.

The second method is online payment, directly on the company’s website. It is worth noting that online payment also occurs in Russian rubles, so tourists do not pay either a bank commission for the transfer or cross-currency conversion. WITH bank card The exact amount indicated on the invoice is debited.

After the tour operator receives the money (1-2 days), you will be sent a confirmation by email. You will receive everything at least two days before departure Required documents: copy of the contract, e-ticket, voucher for checking into a hotel, insurance policy.

Organizational aspects

Tours to Egypt from Minsk for Russians, in fact, have the only nuance that should be taken into account - insurance. You can, of course, without much fuss, use the Belarusian insurance policy, which is included in the package tour. However, given the circumstances, it would be more prudent to go to a Russian company.

Especially for the convenience of clients, Travelhouse organizes transfer " Train Station Minsk – Minsk National Airport.” This service is provided free of charge to families and companies of 4 or more people. You can also order a transfer at a reasonable price, for $20 (about 1200 rubles). Our specialists will be happy to help you choose a hotel or inexpensive apartment for an overnight stay or stay in Minsk, and will book by favorable price, as they promise, no more expensive than Booking.

Tours to Egypt through Belarus: the price of the issue

Tours to Egypt from Minsk and Belarusian cities in 2020 start from $357. Often there are completely wonderful options, almost like the good old days:

In general, the price of tours to Egypt from Belarus for Russians in 2020 is slightly higher than the old Russian price, but this has always been the case. Many Belarusians used to buy travel packages departing from Moscow. Firstly, it was cheaper, at least 100-200 dollars per person, and secondly, it was possible to fly out any day.

Charters now fly to Hurghada from Minsk almost every day, to Sharm el-Sheikh - 4-5 times a week, flights have appeared from regional Belarusian cities: Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel. However, flights for the most popular holiday periods fill up well. Therefore, if you are flying to " high season“To book a trip at a better price, it is better to do this in advance, at least 2-3 weeks before departure.

Previously, when there were only a few flights per month to Sharm el-Sheikh, and 4-5 per week to Hurghada, it took 1.5-2 months to catch seats on the most popular dates, and the prices were depressing. Now the flight program has been seriously expanded, and we can already see that this has a positive effect on prices. Sometimes Belarusian operators (as well as their Russian colleagues) also begin to “burn” places, delighting and sometimes surprising Russians who had been spoiled in the past with their prices. Therefore, if you have an idea to fly away and unwind “on time” this season, there is a very real chance to implement it, and to do it profitably.

How to get from Moscow to Minsk

Don’t forget that to the cost of a trip to Egypt via Belarus, citizens of the Russian Federation need to add a road to the country’s capital. More than 10 flights operate daily from Russia. Since 2016, the Belarusian carrier has opened flights from Zhukovsky near Moscow to Minsk with tickets at ridiculous prices - 78 euros (about 5,500 rubles) in both directions, including all taxes.

  • Do not miss:

Many Russians, especially Muscovites, travel to Minsk by personal car. Distance - less than 700 km, excellent highway, exit along Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Mozhaiskoe Highway, you only need to make one turn to the airport, which is conveniently located next to the Moscow highway. There are at least 2 modern parking lots on the territory, the cost is more than reasonable, for example, for 10 days of storing a car they will charge you 80 Belarusian rubles (about 2500 Russian rubles).

Step 4: Planning the transfer. You can, of course, take a taxi from the airport to the hotel on your own upon arrival. But, after a 10-hour flight with a transfer, you are unlikely to have enough strength to bargain with Egyptian taxi drivers. Therefore, it is better to use a special transfer service. You will be met with a sign at the airport and brought to your hotel doorstep for a fixed price.

Step 5: Pack your bags and go on vacation to the sea.

Before the vacation, my family and I decided to take a risk and went to Egypt through Belarus. First, we called the agency, which we liked based on reviews and photographs. They immediately explained to us about flights to Egypt not only from Minsk, but also from the regional centers of Belarus - Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel. Vitebsk was convenient for us. Sami from Pskov. They explained all the goodies that they can provide a transfer to the airport upon arrival. They told us about all the ways to get there by train, plane, bus. We liked the attitude. Spent 11 fun nights with children in Hurghada in one of the famous family hotels Jungle Park Resort. In general, we even returned back - the road was not exhausting. On the contrary, Minsk impressed me. We want to come in the spring. Rest, friends, by the way, as we later found out, this agency has been transporting Russians since the very beginning of the ban.

Oddly enough, most often Russians fly to Egypt via Belarus from Minsk. It is clear that there are nearby cities, but Minsk alone is worth it. We went with a group of six young and hot people - they also organized a free transfer to the airport for us. The flight is, of course, direct. In general, fly and you will be satisfied.

  • Again we came across an article on the Internet that the opening of direct flights to Sharm and Hurghada is again postponed until 2020. Delicious breakfasts are back in business. The meetings are of no use, but the Belarusians are. Well, fine. We vacationed in August, flying from Minsk. No discomfort, the prices were even a little lower. Enjoy your holiday to everyone who has not yet flown through Belarus.

In September we chose packages with a direct flight to Sharm el-Sheikh from Belarus to the Sheraton Sharm Hotel, Resort, Villas & Spa. The road flew by unnoticed. Belarusians are great in this regard. I remember - just like with cars, we had a cataclysm, everyone rushed to Russia to buy cars, and now we are going to visit Egypt for a flight. But you know, the prices in the company were pleasant. Webpay, a day of waiting, and the tour is already waiting. Complete relaxation and a decent rest went off with a bang. Fly through Minsk, Gomel or Vitebsk. And don’t wait until Egypt is discovered.

Prices to Egypt are always cheaper than to Bulgaria. But rest can be just as good. I recommend going out to the open sea. And buy only elite alcohol)) Then you will like this country.

  • Getting to Egypt was easy. I traveled to Minsk by bus from Smolensk. The road is not difficult. Still, Hurghada was waiting. More precisely, I was tired of waiting. Let the guys decide what and how there, but I got to the sea with the breeze. Coral Beach pleased us with plenty of fish and weather. I advise you to fly, otherwise who knows when and what will open there just like the old fashioned way.

  • My husband and I decided on a honeymoon trip from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh via Minsk. We gave ourselves a gift for February 14th. The hotel we chose was Barcelo Tiran Sharm. Walk like that, walk. They called the Russian number in the evening. We quickly sent all the information via the link on the website and transferred a small deposit of 20,000 thousand rubles. We decided to keep the Belarusian insurance. We went to Minsk in our own car. By the way, parking at the airport cost us about 1,900 rubles for 14 nights. 2 days before departure, tickets, insurance and vouchers were sent by email. In Egypt we were greeted quite kindly. The host company acted smoothly and without any problematic issues. The vacation, as expected, took place in this format on high level. We enjoyed the service and the weather. Fly and don't worry! P.s. and not necessarily from Russia with all sorts of prohibitions and restrictions there.

  • A last minute tour was offered for the beginning of March. Believe it or not? The price is adequate 70 thousand Russia. With departure from Minsk. You just need to get from St. Petersburg to Minsk.

  • Someone tell me how crests behave now in Egypt. Are there these graters? I told my acquaintances about it six months ago. So a little scary.

  • “If now we have to return money for already sold tours and clients do not come to purchase (trips to Egypt ed.) New Year, then we can expect a series of bankruptcies,” Mokhov said.

Maybe someone will be interested. Flew with two small children (5 and 8 years old) to Makadi Stella Beach Resort. At first there were doubts about flying through our neighboring country. You understand, for the first time, there may be discomfort, back and forth. I googled this issue and came across this article. The company seems to be doing well in the market. The Russians are flying. There are a lot of reviews. A couple of days later I contacted the manager, who selected a wonderful tour for us. The price was 95,000 RUB including flights to Minsk and back, insurance, vouchers and 11 nights at the resort. I sent copies of passports via Viber, they sent me a contract by mail, and before leaving I received all the necessary documents by email. It is convenient to pay through the travel agency website. Many thanks for the organization. The children endured all the moves quite well. We rested in October, and the weather pleased us with warm sunshine and a beautiful clear sea. On the plane to Egypt we also met Russian citizens who were heading to Egypt via Minsk. Some flew through TravelHouse, and others through Coral. In general, the holiday went on an excellent wave. The children are happy, and so is Mom.

  • We checked in from Minsk for 10 nights - it turned out to be 95,000 for two. The hotel is known to us - Tia Hayes, yes, it is a little more expensive than we are used to, but we want to go there and those days are long gone. There is no desire to book everything separately, and after looking at the cost of tickets we realized that it was cheaper from Minsk.

  • The price of tickets alone comes out to under 100 thousand rubles. People are now ready to spend 40-50 thousand rubles for two people on a tour to Egypt, maximum 60 thousand rubles.

Insanely useful article and comments. In winter I really want to go on vacation... but naturally, like everyone else, I’m a little worried and worried. It’s closer to us through Ukraine (we ourselves are from Rostov), but again, for some reason it’s scary. I didn’t read all the comments - has anyone already used the link to the operator given in the article? Another question: are there any problems crossing the border for people with a criminal record (well, you never know)? I'm considering a flight from Zaporozhye - does anyone have experience?

  • By the way, guys, I found for all of us, as my son says, a wild laugh: “The Syrian Ambassador spoke about the construction of resorts for Russians.”
    https://www.rbc.ru/society/19/05/2018/5b0051549a79471d4c5ae926
Here, it seems to me, are all the answers to all our silent questions “When?” It seems like never. Even when the mess is completely over, people will still be sent to Syria, but not to fight, but to relax). The biggest joke in the article is that my friend claims that people in Syria are ALREADY vacationing, and hotels are ALREADY being built. Draw your own conclusions.

If you read the reviews, only Moscow lives, the rest of Russia survives. But what about us Siberians? We also want to warm up and just relax, the prices are sky high, after all, we also need to get to Moscow. Where's the justice?

  • I confirm once again: everything works as it did last year (I already wrote in detail below in 2017). They waited after media reports about the opening of regular flights with Cairo, and thought that they would also open charter flights. We looked at how to get to regular flights Aeroflot. But it turns out to be much more expensive than even through Minsk. Moreover, you will have to spend longer on the road. Paradox. Maybe someone has found an easier way and will write to us all about it, but from Moscow I didn’t understand how to get to the Red Sea cheaply other than through Minsk. I read the comments, people write that it is also possible from Vitebsk or Mogilev - regional Belarusian cities, they are a hundred and a half closer to Moscow, but in the summer charters do not fly from there, so only Minsk again cost $1000 for a ticket. To hell with everything, I don’t think they will open it while we wait for departure. Until Syria gets tired, I’m sure everything will remain so. I can’t explain it, it’s just intuition))

We are registering for May holidays. Friends have already flown through Minsk, everything is fine, everything works. We are renting an apartment in Minsk for 2 nights, we want to stay and take a walk, we have never been. I'm drawn specifically to the Red Sea, but of course it was possible to go to Turkey or Cyprus already. They should all go with their promises, we need to take care of ourselves)…

Guys, what now? Is it worth taking it through Belarus? In principle, it’s not far if you think about it like that, 500 km to fly out, but what do we have to say about the opening of flights through Cairo? Looked like it was possible for two people to get 4 stars for a week for 100,000 rubles from Moscow, with a transfer in Cairo. The journey one way is 8 hours. And it’s kind of scary, to be honest. What about the transfer in Belarus, what about the transfer here...

  • Good afternoon, dear citizens of the forum!
I would like to raise this topic: who is going to buy a tour from Belarus or Ukraine to Egypt, what are your thoughts about the promised opening of charters from the Russian Federation? I’m interested in the general opinion of the people, who thinks what? We want to book through Minsk for the May holidays, but we’re in a bit of a bind, maybe they’ll open up here). Thank you all in advance for your opinions.

  • Good day! Please respond, after the new law came out in Ukraine, did anyone take the risk of purchasing a tour with a departure from Kyiv? I’m looking at tours to Egypt for the month of August, the price is increasing every day, I can’t make up my mind... And from Minsk the same tours are $1000 more expensive... We are going with two adult women and two children.

  • Hi all! Paying tribute to my moral duty, I am writing a report on how we got to Egypt from Belarus. So. First, we found this article on the Internet using a search method. Without further ado, and having previously read this forum and reviews, we contacted the company listed there. Nothing left us in doubt, everything was explained clearly, we called back ourselves, so we started looking for a tour with them. At that moment, there were already few places from Minsk, prices had risen, so we were offered the option of Mogilev. A tour for two on January 6 for 10 days cost 55,000 wooden, which suited us quite well. We issued an online invoice in Russian currency, which we paid with a regular Sberbank card. Then we began to think about how to get there. We would go by train, but it leaves at about 10:00 pm and arrives at 5 am the next day. But the flight was at 4 p.m., and we weren’t ready to spend almost a day in Mogilev, so we decided to go by car. There were also options by bus that were a little more convenient according to the schedule - but it was better by car. We looked at the Google map that the drive was 590 km and 7 hours. Yes, the tickets were sent to us in 3 days, we simply printed them and took them with us. We added another 2 hours for registration and another 2 hours just in case. Since we live in Odintsovo, it’s closer to us; we don’t have to go through traffic jams at MSC. In general, we left early in the morning at 5. The M1 road is excellent, you can safely drive 130 km/h, but only to Orsha, from Orsha you need to turn south and drive another 75 km, but more slowly. In any case, we arrived 3 hours before departure. In advance, the company told us about parking, that it was there right at the airport, for 10 days of responsible storage of vehicles, they charged us something like 500 rubles in transfer to our relatives. Gasoline in both directions will cost somewhere around 6,500 rubles. As a result, you can easily calculate what the trip “resulted in.” Yes, the return flight is at 14:45, we hope to be home before the end of the day, but we won’t make any plans.
Everything is simple and completely doable, if only you have the desire. We love Egypt, we don’t want to go anywhere else, and waiting for the weather by the sea is not for us. Whether they open it or not, and if they open it, it’s not known when, but we are now relaxing on our beloved Red Sea, although we had to get a little twisted. Good luck to everyone, friends, and dear editors - thanks for the tip!

  • Dear forum members - maybe the task is off topic - already
We've scoured the internet, we want to go with the kids
relax, don’t tell me the site so as not to
    didn't deceive. Thank you.

  • Hi all!
What is the opinion of the people, what can we expect in connection with the novosyat, Putin in Egypt, etc.? When will it be opened or are they throwing noodles at us again before the elections? It seems that the ministers will only begin discussing it in April, but what about the elections in March? Maybe they won’t open at all? Mine has an urgent need to fly to Egypt after the New Year; we already have, albeit interrupted, such a tradition. The neighbors were flying, they gave me a link to this article, and that’s where it all began))) We also monitor prices at the travelhouse, but it’s quite possible to get in, normal hotels are 45-50 thousand for 2 people for 10-11 days, we look at them Vitebsk, Mogilev too, it’s even cheaper there, and you can save 100 km of mileage. I would have bought it already, but the toad whispers, “What if they open it?” Guys, please share your opinion?

    • There's nothing to think about. If you want to go to the sea, fly. After the ban, I myself went on holiday to Hurghada three times. Both alone and with family. It's really very simple.

What is there to think, friend? If you want to get to Egypt before May, fly through the brotherly state and that’s it. If you want to be patient until they open it, be patient, but it’s really unclear how long. They have been promising for a long time, but in fact we have what we have. We had the same question, but we already decided that there was no point in waiting. If you wait a long time, life will pass like that, you need to look for opportunities, enjoy the moment and not regret anything))

  • I'm from Chelyabinsk. A month ago I flew to Egypt via Minsk to Albatross. It turned out to be very convenient; there were no problems with the flight from Minsk. The travel agency issued an invoice and I paid via mobile banking. I arrived in Minsk early, so I picked up the documents at the office. I took it to a travel house, the office is conveniently located on the way to the airport. There were no problems crossing the border - standard procedures. It seems that Belarusians themselves do not fly, because... half the plane was ours. I recommend Albatross White Beach to everyone - new hotel on memsha. I was pleasantly impressed: everything was new, they served ice buckets with drinks on the beach, including bottled beer. The only negative is that Belarusians offer few hotels, although I called many agencies. There are no questions about the company, they responded promptly.

a family of three flies to Egypt from December 26 to January 6, a tour from Mogilev 600 km. From Moscow to the Airport by car Hyundai Grand Starex. Three adults purchased a tour to Hurghada for 11 nights all inclusive RUR 121 hotel. Jewels Sahara Boutique Resort 4* We are looking for travel companions of 2-3 people with category B license.

Yes, it’s normal to fly through Belarus, I liked it. didn't cause any problems. Of course, it’s not very cheap, but I’ve already missed Egypt for 2 years. They paid 72,000 for a tour for 2 of them. In Minsk, only a few travel agencies work with Russians, as I understand it. I called about 12-15 people, many could not clearly explain the procedure for purchasing a tour. As a result, the travelhouse offered an adequate one and I don’t remember any other ones. I bought it from a travelhouse, got what I wanted, and my vacation was a success.

Now the easiest way to fly to Egypt is through Belarus (there are flights from Minsk, Mogilev and Vitebsk). It is cheaper to fly from regional cities than from Minsk. Buy ready package tour you need it in a Belarusian travel agency, and you can do it remotely, without coming to Minsk. As a result, it turns out stable, reliable and no questions at the border.

  • According to economy: flight Moscow - Minsk - Moscow 8000 rubles,
tour cost 41,000 rubles for 9 days 8 nights at the Coral beach resort 4* Hurghada. IN single room. All inclusive... I also spent 5-6 thousand rubles on little things for mango souvenirs to take home. Total: 55,000 rubles.. Something like that. I will be glad if the review is useful.

  • Good evening. I flew through the Travelhouse travel agency, there are links and contacts above... everything went completely without problems. In absence. Russians basking in the sun are mainly Europeans, Ukrainians and a few Belarusians...the Egyptians have something like a default there, now they give 17.6 Pounds for a dollar, but it was 8-9. Accordingly, everything is cheap, including excursions and services. And so, the sea, sun and sand remain unchanged as always. Good luck everyone.

Last night I arrived from Hurghada. The holiday is wonderful. Everything is easy and relaxed. If anyone is interested, ask, I will be happy to share my impressions of the trip

  • Hello everyone
Of course, you can wait and hope that air traffic with Egypt will resume. Or you can simply book a tour and fly to the Red Sea. It's a matter of choice. I am flying through Minsk to Hurghada for the third time. Again through Minsk. And as mentioned above, it is really very simple. Good luck!

Well, no one is immune from this)) But we won’t be disappointed, if they open it, we’ll go to Minsk to see what we can do) But we’re tired of waiting, whether they’ll open it or not, I want to go to Egypt, especially since they have the feeling that they’re specially like water they are pounding in a mortar, making some encouraging hints and statements. It seems that while there is this whole mess with IS (which is banned in the Russian Federation :)), Egypt will not be opened for reasons unknown to us. Maybe all these Arabs are together? Maybe they sponsor the villains with our money, which we leave in their hotels) Do the security officers know about this and show them a big fig? But it’s better not to rush...

  • Hi all! And we played around with connecting flights on Turkish and a hotel on Booking, but in the end it was cheaper than TravelHouse + train tickets from Moscow. Maybe the Trans-Urals and Siberia, of course, are not interested in this, but that’s the best thing for us, at the same time we’ll stay in Minsk for a couple of days and see how our Belarusian brothers live)). Total, 10 nights ticket to King Tut Aqua Park Beach Resort 4* for 2 - 62,000 rubles, also a transfer at night from the station to the airport and we will also order it upon arrival, it will be +2400 rubles, but it’s calmer. The selection and payment procedure did not raise any questions or suspicions, especially since this article was recommended to us by friends who had already flown. You can pay by card; you do not need to transfer the entire cost at once. The departure is only on December 16, so I’ll tell you how it turned out in the end!

  • Good day! Tell me, maybe someone knows, you can get to Egypt through Kazakhstan, otherwise it’s expensive for us residents of the Trans-Urals to go through Minsk or Kyiv. If yes, please share your experience.

  • Please tell me, DonJuan, what should be a comfortable transfer time? On some ticket options this time is 55 minutes. Is it possible to get luggage and check in for another flight during this time? But since they sell such tickets, does that mean it’s possible? Did you take a taxi upon arrival or as it is written above on KiwiTax? And how we took a taxi back to the airport. Have you bought excursions? If you bought: excursions in Russian?

  • At the end of January 2017, I flew with my wife and baby from Domodedovo, via Istanbul. Pegasus Airlines. Tickets cost 40 thousand rubles. + hotel 36 t.r. for 14 nights + insurance in Alfa Insurance 3 thousand rubles. Hotel Raddison Blu Resort 5*, in Sharm. + taxi for 20 bucks. The flight was not very tiring; the transfer in Istanbul was about 4 hours. We ate, drank, sat and got back on the plane. Fast food in Sabiha is two times cheaper than in Moscow, a bottle of water is 0.5 - 50 rubles.
I took tickets and hotel reservations in November 2016. I left the car in the daily parking lot in Domodevovo, I didn’t pay, it was about 3.5 thousand rubles. to pay.
Well, it won’t work out cheaper, neither through Minsk, nor through Kyiv! Train from Moscow to Kyiv - 4t.r. per person, one way! Moreover, from the Kyiv agency, the girl immediately offered me an “easy” option for paying for the tour - VCESTERN UNION IN HER NAME! After this communication
    stopped instantly)
Need to find a good option by tickets, and you can choose a hotel or apartment on Booking according to your budget.

Friends! Tell me, please, does Tez Tour sell tours to Sharm to Russians? What are the flight schedules to Sharm this summer? How long does it take to fly from Minsk?

  • Good day! I am looking for information about a trip to Egypt. I am Russian, I am in Switzerland on a tourist visa. I wanted to fly from here to Egypt for a week. If it’s possible for us from Belarus, maybe it’s possible from Switzerland. Please tell me.

  • Thanks to the authors of the article and especially to all previous commentators who shared their experiences. I hope my experience will also be useful to someone. We just returned from Egypt and flew through Kyiv. We took a ticket to Misto.Travel, following the link in the article. Two adults and a child. 7 nights at Hawaii Le Jardin Aqua Park Resort 4* cost 19,000 hryvnia (40,000 rubles).

We deliberately chose a simpler hotel; we didn’t want to risk a large amount of money. But everything turned out to be not so scary, and much simpler than I imagined.

    1. Payment. This point confused me the most, since I was transferring a rather large amount to an unknown company, you understand... In fact, during online booking, data is entered credit card, 15% of the tour cost is blocked (not even debited). For us it cost 3,000 hryvnia (about 6,300 rubles). The rest of the amount is paid directly to the tour operator, and this radically changes things.) We had Anex Tour.

    2. Customs. Having heard a lot about how they wouldn’t let us in, we prepared a “legend” in advance and had printed tickets and vouchers ready. But no one even asked anything. Perhaps there is a little more attention to single men, but I think that a voucher in hand will remove all questions.

In general, checked, no mines.)) Good luck to everyone and have a nice rest!

    • Egor, we just noticed that you went with Misto. There are a couple of questions: How many days in advance did you book and how many days before the start of the tour was confirmation (full payment)? Regarding the flight, when did you find out exact time departure (round trip). This is to plan your route and buy train/bus or plane tickets. Thank you!

    • Egor, wonderful comment! You correctly noted that the issue of paying for a “Ukrainian” voucher raises a big question - many do not dare to transfer a rather large amount to an unknown company))
A few clarifications: 1. Did you already pay the remaining amount for Anex Tour in Kyiv? 2. And did you fly to Egypt on the same day? 3. What currency did you pay in Kyiv? 4. Did you fly to Kyiv by plane or by train?

  • Alla, thank you for your detailed comment. Many from the Russian Federation like the prices offered by Ukrainian travel agencies, but everyone admits in a private conversation that they are afraid to transfer money to Ukraine when paying online. They helped you with payment, - a citizen of Ukraine bought it on the territory of Ukraine.
Tell me, do Ukrainian customs also freely allow men from the Russian Federation into their territory?
Friends, who else from the Russian Federation flew to Egypt through Ukrainian travel agencies, write - such an experience is interesting to everyone!

Good afternoon, sorry, but at Travelhouse the prices are 101,000 rubles for two in 3 stars for 10 nights departing in March..... Such prices have never been from Moscow, I don’t know who flew for $450...

  • We are waiting with interest for stories from Russian citizens about trips to Egypt through Ukraine!!! Anyone who has such experience, please share the details, everyone is interested! What scares me away is: “what if it’s a scam”!?

    • Robinson Crusoe, my friend and I flew from Kyiv to Hurghada at the beginning of the year, I just don’t know what to tell you, just ask. A friend from Chernigov took the vouchers from her local travel agency. I sent her a photo of my passport and money on the card, and two days later she emailed me everything I needed. I think if you take it yourself from any travel agency, the procedure is no different.

7 nights in Sunrise Select Garden Beach Resort & Spa 5* cost me $300, including travel to Kyiv and back to Moscow. I went by train, there is a bus from the railway station to Boryspil airport every half hour (I think it’s called Skybus), the ride is about an hour.

All customs and borders without problems, no one asked any questions. Already at the airport I saw a madam in a jacket with our tricolor all over her back. Apparently, I wanted to check the reaction of the locals. Judging by the fact that I saw her in the same jacket on the way back, no one rushed at her, so everything was ok.

We are going again for May, only this time to Sharm. For that kind of money it would be a shame not to relax. When Egypt opens, it will be more expensive, so let’s take advantage of the moment. And as for scammers, being afraid of wolves - don’t vacation in Egypt.;)

  • Passport control at Minsk airport on international flights no different from Moscow airports. A foreign passport is presented, everything is as usual.
when crossing the border with Belarus by car, they simply reduced the speed to 40 km. We drove on without stopping. To travel around Belarus by car, you need Green Card auto insurance. The cost is about 800 rubles for two weeks. You can buy it both in Moscow in advance and in the Smolensk region at gas stations or parking lots.

  • My friends fly on vacation to Egypt from Russia without any problems - through Ukraine. Cheap tours, people can book and easily go on vacation wherever they want

A question for Sergei or someone who has already been through Minsk to Sharm.
I can't find data on charter departure times. My train arrives in Minsk at 11:23. I can’t decide whether I will need an overnight stay in Minsk or not.
    Help, please, who knows.

    Hello.
I booked both times, June and October
    at the Minsk travelhouse agency.
There is a link to the site above in the topic. Manager Daria worked with me. She selected hotels and prepared documents. Everything is very fast and clear. We communicated from Moscow by email and Viber... I was guided by tourists who had flown before right there on the website. I wish you good luck and a pleasant holiday.

  • Just returned from Hurghada. Some of the most recent impressions...
We got to Minsk airport by car. The journey took 7.5 hours. In general, no problems, except for the large number of cameras on the road. Belarusian traffic cops stopped and checked our documents, Green Card and even the sticker on the stern. Parking at the airport is 1,247 rubles with our money for nine days. Belavia flies without delays.
There are not a few tourists in Hurghada, but very few. There are a few Belarusians and Ukrainians, mostly Germans. Compared to June, everything is about the same. Prices from traders are minimal. For a dollar they give 6-8 magnets. Snorkel mask $5. The sea is 24 degrees according to the season, windy. The soft sun does not burn. Hurghada Airport has unprecedented security measures. They checked our passports four times and searched us twice, took off our shoes and put them through a frame, and our things through the TV.
To sum it up, as a big fan of holidays on the Red Sea, I can say that despite the difficulties of the road and fatigue, it still cannot be compared with any resorts in Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory... well, everyone makes their own choice for themselves....

We are going to our favorite shore of Makadi in November. Very timely information! Please update as news comes in, because there is no replacement for Egypt in November!

  • Thanks for the info. Very relevant. I really didn’t expect to go “to the seas” this year. Now there is hope. Minsk is also “in my backyard” :)), because I live in St. Petersburg

I’ll also add that in my case everything was exactly the same as with other commenters and the procedure for booking and paying for the tour and receiving documents by email and border control In Minsk. No problem.
I will be glad if my comments help others, just as my previous flying experience helped me! Good luck!

  • Hello everybody
I returned from Hurghada last night, I give a report as promised...
So, I was in Le Pasha for 8 days and 7 nights. Everything is very successful. I booked a tour from a travelhouse agency with payment in rubles through Sberbank. I was flying from a teztour, and I wasn’t the only one... On the plane, besides me, there were tourists from Russia. I flew to Minsk from Domodedovo in 1 hour and 10 minutes in order to save time. Tickets to Minsk and back are 10,300 rubles. The cost of the tour is 43,000 for a single room.
The plane flies from Minsk three times a week. There are very few tourists, many hotels are closed. All Egyptians are sad because of the absence of Russian tourists. There are practically no foreigners either. The airport in Hurghada is completely empty.
everything is sold inexpensively. So a kilogram of new harvest mango 15 pounds is $1.5.
I can say with confidence that if you want to relax on the Red Sea, it’s very simple...so you can safely fly...
I wish everyone a successful holiday!

  • Biblioglobus and Tez Tour reject applications to Egypt from Russian citizens with departure from Minsk. Which tour operators do you fly through Minsk, please explain??

  • Good evening
Booked a seven night tour to Hurghada at le pacha. All. Single. Departure 14.06 from Minsk. Return 21.06
When I return, I will write all the details about the trip.
I hope the information is useful. Good luck!

I will answer for Dmitry, if you allow. I also doubted it for a long time and looked for how to get to Egypt on vacation. At first I wanted to organize everything myself, but either I don’t know how to search, or I was unlucky, but I couldn’t buy tickets at a normal price. Excited about the trip through Belarus, we called our relatives from Minsk, they found out and recommended the travelhouse.by agency. I read the reviews, didn’t find anything particularly bad, so we decided to take it.

The tour was selected on their website, then we called manager Natalya, she talked about the nuances, which turned out to be not many. In principle, everything is exactly as described in the article. We paid through Sberbank, 8 nights in Hurghada cost 85,000 rubles. Two adults and a child. Hotel – King Tut Aqua Park Beach Resort 4*.

We decided to go to Minsk by car. 700 km is not a distance for a mad cow, but you don’t need to drag your child and suitcases around trains and stations. The airport is located on the side of the Moscow highway, you can drive 120 km/h almost the entire way, we got there very quickly.

We went through customs without any problems, although the security measures there now are, as they say, unprecedented. How we got there was not particularly noticeable, but on the way back we noticed it. Almost every other person checks suitcases and searches them, no one is allowed into the airport building without tickets, there are dogs and metal detectors everywhere... It’s unusual, but it adds confidence.

Otherwise, everything is as usual. I don't quite understand the question about dollars. Can it be transported through customs? We didn’t have much, a little over a thousand, no one asked anything.

There was a couple from St. Petersburg with us at the hotel; they bought tickets and booked the hotel on their own. So, we together calculated that the whole trip cost them almost 80,000 rubles, and us 90,000, including gasoline and parking. But they have two, and there are three of us. In general, here you will be lucky with plane tickets. If you manage to find cheap ones, you can fly on your own, but if not, then via Minsk it is clearly more profitable.

  • I confirm that everything works, thanks to the authors for the tip. You take a ticket just like at home. You send your passport details via email, they will send you a contract, a voucher, a ticket. Departure from Minsk by Belavaia planes. There are no problems for Russians at all! Tours to Turkey-Egypt from 450 USD per person. delicious prices start from the 20th of April. Have a nice holiday everyone!

  • The information contained in the article remains relevant. Vouchers through Minsk and Kyiv for Russians were and are still being sold. The “tourist” was simply unlucky, or is this another clumsy attempt by tour operators to discourage the desire to vacation in Egypt. Knock and it will be opened for you. Repeatedly tested options have been added to the article: Travelhouse (Minsk) and Misto.Travel (Kyiv).

For whom the option through Belarus or Ukraine is not suitable, no one forbids flying to Egypt on their own.

I don’t know how it is now, maybe something has changed, but I can tell you exactly how things were a month ago. Before the New Year, I called two Belarusian travel agencies to find out how to organize a trip. Last year we met NG in Egypt - it was great, we really liked it, we wanted to be there too. But alas, the answer from both travel agencies was the same: we do not sell trips to Russian citizens. Somehow I didn’t think to ask about the reasons, but from the tone of the conversation of one of the girls it was noticeable that she herself was not happy about it. I assume that someone pulled the strings, and Belarusians were simply prohibited from selling trips to Russians. It’s scary to fly through Ukraine, so we stayed at home and saved for Thailand.))

I think that a small number of people will use this method, because it is very troublesome and expensive. Most likely, people will find an alternative and will go to other holiday destinations, rather than to Egypt and Turkey. For example, the Crimea peninsula has now become very popular in Russia. But this is purely my personal opinion, maybe they will travel through Belarus...

  • It doesn’t look like there’s a big rush to fly through Belarus to Egypt. Firstly, it is expensive, and secondly, it turns out to be troublesome. It’s one thing to come from Smolensk or Moscow, where Minsk is almost in the garden. And if further away, from Yekaterinburg, for example? By the time you get to Moscow, you won’t want any rest. This option is only really for fans of Egypt. In my opinion, it will be more convenient through Ukraine...

With the catastrophic devaluation of the national currency, holidays abroad have become a pipe dream for many. If previously almost everyone could afford a third-rate Turkish or Egyptian hotel, today they would have to spend a whole year collecting money for a week of vacation. However, there are always interesting opportunities for those who search. In this article we will look at the most common methods of how to holiday abroad for free.

At the same time, let’s immediately make a reservation: by “free” we mean reducing costs to the minimum achievable level. In some ways, you still have to have some money.

Hospitable hosts and couchsurfing

The most common way to live abroad for free is (you will laugh) to find people who will accommodate you for free in their home. It sounds funny, but in practice it is quite possible. Couch-finding sites allow you to find hospitable hosts all over the world. You simply select suitable housing on the website and call the author of the ad. Of course, there are a number of subjective factors: one young girl will be taken in to live much more willingly than a group of five people or a family with children. However, you can find literally fabulous options: you will live for free in conditions that would cost hundreds of dollars per night. You can also sometimes ask for free food.

Housing exchange: you come to me, I come to you

Another interesting way is a home exchange vacation. You go to the apartment of a foreign friend, while he comes to you. It is clear that for this method you need to live in places that are at least somewhat attractive to tourists. However, there is a demand for the most unusual places, so you should never give up on an idea without trying it. Perhaps somewhere in Italy or Spain there is a traveler who would not mind exchanging apartments with you...

Sponsor for the trip

For girls, traveling abroad with a sponsor is very interesting. An obvious advantage is that all the methods listed in this article require you to get abroad at your own expense. But the ticket price is almost half the cost of the entire vacation. In the case of a sponsor, you go on vacation as if your boyfriend was taking you on vacation. And you don’t pay for travel, accommodation, or food. In addition, sponsors often do not skimp on travel and offer to go to good places, trips to which are quite inexpensive. Therefore, for students, as well as girls with modest earnings, this is an excellent chance to see the world and experience the luxury that she could never afford.

At the same time, a trip with a sponsor is always an opportunity to meet an interesting person and get to know him better. Of course, there is no guarantee that travel will lead to the development of any relationship. However, the atmosphere of an overseas resort and the accompanying environment do their job. That’s why many beautiful love stories began with such trips abroad.

Regarding safety, an important advantage is the opportunity to meet the sponsor of the trip before the start. After talking and getting to know the person, you can determine whether you are ready to trust him and go on vacation with him.

There is another option - a trip to visit the sponsor. If the sponsor is not a compatriot, but a foreigner, you can meet him on the Internet and arrange a visit. He can buy a plane ticket, meet you at the airport and provide all the necessary conditions. This option is more risky, but many brave tourists travel this way.

Labor leave

Finally, there is the option of a “combined holiday”. You can go abroad by agreeing to work in exchange for housing. You can find many options for such trips on the Internet: people who need help with housework or some seasonal work invite tourists. You don't do too much hard work and you have plenty of time to explore the area. Not only do you not spend money on housing, but you can also earn something if the volume of work turns out to be greater. Many hosts also take care of their guests and provide not only accommodation, but also food.

Tourists, like almost everything in this world, can be classified. And even break it down by type and subspecies. Then it will become clear that among them there are many people who are terrified of flying. But they love to travel. And such an aerophobic tourist is faced with the question of where, exactly, to go. And on what?

Tourists, like almost everything in this world, can be classified. And even break it down by type and subspecies. Then it will become clear that among them there are many people who are terrified of flying. But they love to travel. And such an aerophobic tourist is faced with a difficult question - where, exactly, to go. And on what?

Of course, there are options. But we will not talk here about automobile tourism, just as we will not talk about bus tours. And even more so, we will not talk about hiking tourism. We will tell you where you can go abroad by train. And, in fact, you can go to almost any corner of Europe and Asia (Kim Jong Il came to us in his armored train). There would be time.

The first thing that comes to mind is, of course, Crimea. It seems that we are already abroad and there is a sea. But only the lazy don’t know about Crimea. Meanwhile, there are other places.

Bulgaria

How to get there
Two trains depart daily from Sofia - No. 382 at 19.20 and No. 3 at 21.34. Travel time is a little more than two days - about 58 hours.

What to do
Sofia, in itself, is a quite interesting city. There is a lot here that will remind you of the times when Bulgaria was considered the 16th republic of the USSR - both architecture and people. Many people speak Russian, and they treat Russians well.

And then everything depends on your imagination - you can book excursions to the ancient Bulgarian monasteries, which for the most part are in amazing beautiful places, among mountains and forests, and you need to get where you need to either by car or by bus. You can choose your own ski resort.

Or you can go to the sea. Bulgaria is not Siberia, and it takes less than a day to travel from one end of the country to the other. There are three main resorts on the coast - Albena, Golden Sands and sunny Beach.

Golden Sands is perhaps the most respectable resort. There are the most good five-star hotels there and the most high prices. Albena is a little more democratic, but even there almost all three-star hotels are decent. For those who like to remember the past, there are two-star hotels - they are not much different from typical Soviet boarding houses of the 70s and 80s. But they are also extremely cheap. The beaches there are sandy, the entrance to the sea is convenient, and the sea itself is clean.

By the way, if you go from Sofia to Albena or to Sands, it’s worth spending a day and stopping on the way to ancient capital Bulgaria called Veliko Tarnovo. The city is very beautiful, located in the mountains, and below, visible from almost everywhere, a river flows. Here, by the way, was previously the dacha of Zhivkov, the last Secretary General of Bulgaria. And the party elite, as you know, bad places I didn’t choose it for relaxation. There are many hotels in Tarnovo, most of them are inexpensive, but very cozy. How inexpensive the restaurants are here - dinner for two with all the delights local cuisine(a separate chapter needs to be written about it) and alcohol will cost about 20 dollars.

And finally, Sunny Beach. It is located closest to Sofia and is today almost the most developing resort in the country. Prices here are the lowest, there are many hotels to choose from for every budget and taste, and the beaches are sandy. For those who like to live outside of hotels, we can recommend going to a nearby hotel. ancient city Nessebar - you can easily rent a house there cheaper than in Crimea, with all the amenities. And the sea there is the same - only on the other side.

In general, Bulgaria is almost an ideal option for an inexpensive holiday without flights.

Germany

How to get there
Two trains depart daily to Cologne - No. 11 at 22-15 and No. 249 at 18.19. Travel time is 37 hours. From there, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, train No. 13 leaves for Berlin at 8.38. Another Berlin train, number 247, leaves the station on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 13.30. Travel time is a little more than a day - about 28 hours.

What to do
In Cologne itself, by and large, there are two attractions. This is the cathedral of the same name, which is located next to the station, and the Cologne Carnival, which takes place here annually in the second half of February. Then a lot of tourists from all over the world come to the city and hotels need to be booked in advance.

But in general, few people go to Cologne. The local train station is a huge connecting terminal, and from here you can travel to any city in Germany, as well as almost any city in Europe. One of the most popular routes is Moscow - Cologne - Paris. Just a few hours after the Moscow train arrives in Cologne (you will have time for both the cathedral and beer), the train departs in the evening for Paris, where you will arrive early in the morning. In other words, Cologne should be considered as a transit route on the way to Europe by train. Well, where you want to go is up to you.

Of course, there are also trains from Berlin to Europe. But it’s stupid to go there in transit (especially since it’s more convenient to get to Paris through Cologne). You need to go there just to see the city. Moreover, Berlin is now called almost the most fashionable and modern city in Europe. Architecture of new styles and trends, many progressive clubs, etc. In short, this is a metropolis for a new generation. Or, as they write in fashion magazines, this is the mainstream of the youth movement. But it’s clear that other generations have something to do here too. Especially if you remember our history. By the way, here is almost the best zoo in all of Europe.

Finland

How to get there
Every day two trains depart from Helsinki - No. 31 at 17.42 and No. 32 at 22.50. Travel time is just under 14 hours.

What to do
The city itself is small but nice. As someone said about Finland, everything there is as it should be in our country, but it’s unlikely to be. Helsinki in particular and Finland in general should be treated with this thought. There are no special attractions here, but it’s nice to just wander around, go to a restaurant and taste old Russian cuisine. But once you get to Helsinki, you can take, for example, a ferry and go to Stockholm. As a matter of fact, there are many places you can go on cruise ships or ferry ships from Helsinki. But it is advisable to plan all this in Moscow.

Also in Moscow you can pre-order a small house on the lakes. Such pleasure costs from $500 for a house for 4 people for a week. And then you find yourself in a pristine forest, with lots of mushrooms and berries (in the summer, of course), surrounded by a network of lakes with crystal clear clean water and lots of fish. Plus, the package usually includes a sauna and a motor boat. The only problem is that apart from berries, mushrooms and fish - that is, pasture food - food is not provided in such houses. And you need to take everything with you. For example, in a rented car.

Croatia

How to get there
Train No. 15 departs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 20.30. Another train No. 205 leaves for Zagreb at 7.10 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Travel time is two days.

What to do
Zagreb itself is often called little Vienna for its resemblance to the capital of Austria. And that's true. It's worth spending at least a day there to see all the sights. Well, then - just a few hours away are all famous resorts Croatia, and here the only question is the choice - where to go. By the way, you can relax for a week in Croatia, then go to Montenegro for the second week, fortunately it is nearby and fortunately there are also trains from Belgrade to Moscow.

Montenegro

How to get there
From to Belgrade two trains depart daily - No. 15 at 20.30 and No. 344 at 8.20. Travel time is two days.

What to do
If our tourists have already actively explored Croatia for a long time, then Montenegro is still an unknown place for them. But in vain - because this, without any exaggeration, is one of best places in general in the world. Here is the most pure water in the Mediterranean - it is so transparent that the bottom is visible even at a depth of 50 meters. There are magnificent beaches and mountains here, the second largest canyon in the world on the Tara River, which is a national park, is located here, there is the beautiful Skadar Lake, surrounded by ancient monasteries. In short, there is everything you need for relaxation. And, most importantly, it is still relatively cheap here.

Austria

How to get there
From to Vienna train No. 202 departs daily at 21.40. And on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays there is another train No. 21 - departure at 23.40. Travel time is a little over 30 hours.

What to do
You can write a separate book about Vienna, and more than one. One has only to say, no matter how banal it sounds, that this is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. With a lot of attractions, a lot of cultural events, and simply this is the city that you need to see at least once in your life if you want to feel involved in world history and culture. Well, after that you can go to ski resorts- there are more of them there than in Moscow casinos.

Slovakia

How to get there
Two trains leave for Bratislava every day - No. 21 at 23.40 and No. 705 at 19.50. Travel time is 33 hours.

What to do
Bratislava is a small city, but very picturesque, spread out on both sides of the Danube. In general, you should go to Slovakia either to ski resorts - here, if there are good slopes, it is more or less cheap, or you should go for treatment - almost all Slovak resorts are one way or another oriented towards medicine. But the country itself is beautiful - most of is located in a mountainous area and the views are breathtaking. And since the tourism industry began to actively develop here several years ago, there have been no problems with service.

Hungary

How to get there
Two trains depart daily for Budapest - No. 15 at 20.30 and No. 16 at 18.25. Travel time is just under 40 hours.

What to do
Budapest is one of those few cities in the world that you immediately fall in love with. And forever, you just have to be there. Moreover, there are views here for every taste - on the right bank of the Danube, the city soars up, drowning in forests, and the left part of the city, flat, lies in front of you in full view. Like in the palm of your hand lies the Danube with its openwork bridges. In a word, Budapest is such a self-sufficient city that there is no need to go anywhere else besides it. You can easily spend a week there and not get bored. But even for this case there are places in Hungary. Like, for example, the largest lake in central Europe, the name of which almost everyone has heard. Balaton is his name. And it completely replaces a vacation by the sea. In addition, Hungary ranks one of the first places in the world in terms of the number of explored and used sources of thermal medicinal waters - there are more than a hundred balneological resorts here. In short, there are a lot of options for relaxation here.

Romania

How to get there
Every day two trains leave for Bucharest - No. 3 at 23.34 and No. 382 at 7.39. It's almost two days to travel.

What to do
In fact, it is difficult to ask such a question in Romania. If only because there is also Mountain peaks The Carpathians, and the majestic Danube with its untouched nature, and the Black Sea beaches. Here you can ride alpine skiing and lie on the beaches, here you can wander around Bucharest for days with its unique Franco-Romanian style of architecture, or you can travel through the ancient Transylvanian cities. Where you will certainly be reminded of Dracula. Instead of blood, it is better to drink very good local wine. Here in Romania, the Byzantine style and the Orthodox monasteries of northern Moldavia and Bukovina are mixed. Western Romania looks like a surviving fragment of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and, for example, in Constanta, the hand of both the Romans and the Ottoman Empire is visible. In short, Romania is like a kaleidoscope.

Czech

How to get there
Two trains depart daily to Prague - No. 21 at 23.40 and No. 209 at 22.18. Travel time is a little over 30 hours.

What to do
Thousands of guidebooks have been written about Prague, and they all have one thing in common - you should visit it at least once in your life. Nowhere else in the world can you sit in a beer hall located in a 13th century building, nowhere else can you find such a combination of undestroyed antiquity and rhythm modern city. But besides Prague in the Czech Republic there are also ancient castles, and health resorts(Karlovy Vary became a Russian health resort a long time ago), and the unique cuisine and... In a word, read Hasek again - it says everything about the Czechs.

China

How to get there
There are four trains to Beijing from. On Tuesdays No. 4 leaves at 21.57, on Wednesdays No. 3 leaves at 7.40, on Fridays No. 20 at 23.53 and on Saturdays No. 19 leaves at 22.50. Travel time is from 131 to 144 hours.

What to do
At first, you will be looking out the window for almost a week - China, as you know, is not close to us. And after such a journey you will rest for several more days. But further - if you have endured such a journey, then you can take another train and head, for example, to the coast - this will be the only opportunity for you to see sea world South-East Asia without using an airplane. Believe me, there is a lot to see there - the beaches of China are not much different from Thailand or Bali. And the rest is China, a country with such an ancient and powerful culture that even a few years are not enough for a complete inspection. Although a trip to China by train in itself is already exotic.

There were a lot of questions about how we got from Russia to Hurghada, how much it costs, what about visas, etc. Therefore, I decided to write a separate post with the answers.

01. The idea to look at Egypt without Russians appeared a long time ago, but somehow it didn’t work out, either Dima had work, or I had to leave urgently.

02. Having received another virtual kick from Angelina, we decided: it’s time. And we bought tickets. I won’t say through which site, I don’t remember. There are a great variety of them: Avisales, Skyscanner, online tickets - choose any one, everything is one. How to get there? The best option is from Moscow. You can buy two round-trip tickets for two for 47,000 rubles. You will say, “Mama Mia, what about the prices, the three of us in a group of five used to have a week’s vacation for that kind of money,” and I, along with you, will mourn for the old days.

03. Departure from Vnukovo, planes from Chelyabinsk land at Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo. After weighing all the pros and cons, we decided to fly from neighboring Yekaterinburg. The price of tickets from there was about 70 thousand rubles. More expensive, but the cost to get to the capital and a taxi would have been about the same, plus we didn’t want to bother with suitcases.

04. The flight is not direct, there is a transfer in Istanbul. In this case, you only need to pick up your luggage in Hurghada, which made me personally very happy. If I had a Schengen visa, we could fly through Europe. The prices were good with connections in Riga. But I’m, as Dima put it, a “loser,” and we’ll look at Riga another time.

05. Two airlines fly to Hurghada from Russia: Pegasus and Turkish Airlines. For the latter, tickets for our dates were much cheaper. The connection in Turkey was unrealistically long, we decided not to marinate at the airport, but to go see the city. The best part is that when the transfer is so long, the Turkish people provide a free hotel room. This is not always talked about, but there is such a bonus. Before passport control we approached the guys who were sitting at the counter with the sign “ Turkish airlines", the further algorithm was explained to us. And then they took me to a hotel.

06. Now about hotels. There are a huge number of different services through which you can choose and book your accommodation: booking, island, hotellook and many others. Which one is more convenient? But it’s important not to get caught here. For example, I almost sent us to a hotel overcrowded with Chinese. madam_shazly insisted on Bel Air Azur Resort, which I am very happy about. Therefore, I highly recommend carefully studying her blog before booking. By the way, she had a post about how to get to Egypt. By the way, it’s better to find out everything regarding excursions from Angelina, she’s an expert in this.

Did you ask about nightlife at the hotel, I’ll be honest, given the busy program, we live in the mode of European pensioners, and it seems to me that they turn up the heat for us. The animators invited us to evening shows and discos, but we never went.

07. Many Russian hotels have closed, now the main vacationers are Europeans. And, you know, there is a certain charm in this. It’s not about the neighborhood, to be honest, I’m already tired of the Deutschi making big eyes and asking “Rusish?” In the service itself and approach. They asked about the number of Arab vacationers, but we didn’t see any. Again, it all depends on the hotel.

08. Hotels are not completely full, at best 70 percent. In general, walking around Hurghada, you get the impression that a global sleepover has come and everyone has gone to rest. Prices, of course, vary greatly. If you consider the option with half board (breakfast and dinner), you can generally find an option for 12-15 thousand per week. Our all-inclusive hotel for our dates cost around 30,000. The price of a visa is 25 bucks per adult (I don’t know about children), you receive it upon arrival before passport control.

I think I answered all your questions, if you have any more, ask in the comments.
