How to make a child the citizenship of the Russian Federation

Please note that from the point of view of legal distinguishes two processes of entry into Russian affiliation - design and receipt. The latter implies that the child, only born, becomes a citizen of the Russian Federation automatically. This in this case is about such situations:

  • both parents - citizens of the Russian Federation;
  • the newborn has only one parent who belongs to the Russian state;
  • one of the parents is a citizen of the Russian Federation, and the second is a person without any citizenship or his place of stay is not available;
  • the citizenship of the child born in Russia is undeniable, if or a father, or the mother will be able to confirm their Russian affiliation;
  • both adults are foreigners, the fact of birth occurred in the Russian territory, and the birthplace of both parents refuses to assign their sentence to the newborn;

Children born after 2007

This path will be the easiest that does not require compliance with a large number of formalities. It concerns, however, only those cases when the status is automatically assigned. In this case, on the fact of birth in the maternity hospital, newly minted parents receive a certificate indicating the place of birth of the kid, the doctor's signature, which this fact has identified, as well as the main metric information.

With this document, the father or mother goes to the registry office, where it is necessary to provide a certificate of marriage, a passport and a certificate from the maternity hospital. This package of documents will provide a certificate of birth of a new member of society.

Next, there is a campaign to the migration service with a statement, evidence obtained in the registry office, and passport. Children born between 2002 and 2007

But if your offspring was born between the second and seventh year of the current century, then the situation looks somewhat different. In this interval, the very liners were given out.   • if one parent is a Russian, and about the second nothing is known or he does not have any citizenship, but the certificate must certainly stand about this mark.

Children who were born until 2002

The procedure looks like a little more difficult if the fact of appearance has been registered until 2002, and a document that can confirm Russian affiliation, for example, the passport of the Russian Federation is absent. In this case, the process will have to be obligatory.
