Tuk Tuk in Pattaya on Jomtien

What is tuk tuk in Pattaya? This is a full-fledged public transport, which can easily be reached for symbolic money to almost anywhere in the city on the same route or with a transfer. Walk to all major shops and bus stations.

Features of tuk tuk in Pattaya

  • A tuk tuk ride costs 10 baht (20 rubles / 0.3 $).
  • Opening hours: around the clock. During the day they walk at short intervals of 1-5 minutes, less often in the evening.
  • Don't look at the numbers, the routes depend on the street.
  • You can catch a tuk tuk with a wave of your hand, like a taxi. Stop anywhere.
  • There is no glass in the cabin. In case of rain, the film is lowered. You can ride on the back platform while standing outside.
  • Do not sit half-sideways (tourist sign). Sit up straight, don't put your bags on the seat, and always move around so other people can sit too. Sit a small child on your lap if there are a lot of people.
  • To exit, press the bell button on the ceiling.
  • Give the money for the trip to the driver when you exit through the front window. It is better to pay with small money, as change, sometimes, can "accidentally" be missed.
  • If the driver turns off the route on a whim, you will have to get out and catch another. It's useless to argue, don't waste your nerves. For example, often tuk tuk do not go to the end of Jomtien or do not go from the center to Wongamat, but turn to the beach. There is no logic, just take it for granted.
  • Can work like a taxi. Average prices are from 150 to 300 baht per car or 50 baht per person.

Pattaya tuk tuk routes

Tuk-tuk works on all the main streets of the city. In the center, at the beginning of almost every major street, there is always a tuk-tuk, gathering people. If you sit in it, then you can drive along this street to the end.

In Jomtien, songteos run along the entire length of the beach street. In central Pattaya along the beach street and along the second and third from the sea, as well as along three vertical streets to Sukhumvit. There is only one main street route in the Naklua area and Wongamat beach. There are no routes in the Pratumnak and Cozy Beach area.

1. Route "Jomtien - Pattaya Center"

This tuk tuk can be reached from Jomtien:

  • To Tesco Lotus and Teprazit Market (with transfer to Teprazit Road)
  • To central Pattaya: Walking Street, Tukkom store, Central festival, Big C and Terminal 21
  • To the pier to the ferry to Koh Lan (you need to walk through Walking Street)
  • To Wongamat Beach (most often with a transfer)

The route runs along the entire beach street in the area. It starts in different ways, sometimes from the police station at the intersection with Chayapryek Street, and sometimes a little further south, in the Na Jomtien area. Tuk-tuk, which travel from the center back, do not always take it further than Chayapryik Street. In this case, if you need to go further, just get out and wait for the next one.

Map of the route "Jomtien - Central Pattaya"

The terminus is in the center of PTT, most often at the dolphin traffic circle. Occasionally he can go further to the Naklua area.

Crossroads with dolphins on the map

The stop to drive back to Jomtien is at the intersection of Second Street and South Street. This is the southern part of central Pattaya, just off Walking Street. There are always a lot of tuk-tuk, just sit in the last one where other people are sitting.

2. Route on Teprazit Road

This route is used by everyone who lives in Jomtien and Pratumnak. Where can you get to:

  • In the big Tesco Lotus
  • In the sports mall Outlet Mall
  • To the Teprazit night market
  • To the fruit market near the Colosseum
  • Go to Sukhumvit Highway to change to a white tuk-tuk towards the Ambassador

Starts at the beginning of Thep Prasit road, near Foodmart. It goes to Sukhumvit, there it turns around near the Outlet. Sometimes on weekends it can turn around a little earlier, near the night market. Stop in the opposite direction near taxi drivers opposite the Outlet.

3. Route "Central Pattaya - Wongamat - Naklua"

The route connects the northern regions of Pattaya with the center and south. On this bus you can pass:

  • From the center to the Naklua area
  • To the northern beaches:, Crescent Beach, Wong Prachan
  • To the Temple of Truth and the Chicken King's Palace
  • From Wongamat you can get to the Terminal 21 shopping center, Central Festival and large Tesco supermarkets, Big C without transfers.
  • From Wongamat, there is a direct connection to Walking Street

The route starts from the dolphin intersection opposite Terminal 21 and goes along Pattaya Naklua street approximately to the fish market. It does not go to Wongamat beach, it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the main street to the sea. Back from Wongamat to the center, it also goes along Naklua street, passes through a new shopping center, turns around and continues along Beach Road, past Central Festival to Walking Street.

4. Tuk-tuk routes in central Pattaya

There are several routes in the center of PTT. On the beach street, Beach Road, traffic is one-way and minibuses go only one way from north to south, that is, in the direction of Volkin Street. They start from the crossroads with dolphins. The terminus is near the tuk-tuk stop at Jomtien.

They drive along the second street from the sea in the opposite direction, from south to north.

The scheme of movement of tuk-tuk in downtown Pattaya by Beach Road

Also in the center of PTT there are 3 streets from the beach towards the Sukhumvit highway - North, Central and South. There are also 10 baht songthaews running along them.

Between the second and third streets, there is a street of pink lanterns, Soi Bakao. The Songteo route also runs along it. You can drive from the Tukkom and Friendship store to the main street (and then walk to the central Big Sea) or further to the beach in the area.

Where can I book a transfer from the airport?

We use the service - KiwiTaxi
We ordered a taxi online, paid with a card. At the airport we were greeted with a sign with our name. Drove to the hotel in a comfortable car. We have already talked about their experience in this article.

5. White knock knock on the Sukhumvit track

There are also minibuses on the Sukhumvit highway. Where can you get on white tuk tuk:

  • To the miniature park
  • To the Underwater World Pattaya aquarium
  • To the floating market
  • To the hotel and the beach and the Mimosa shopping center
  • To Cartoon Network Water Park
  • Before turning to Nong Nooch
  • Before turning to Sai Keo Military Beach

Traveling for short distances within central Pattaya costs 10 baht, and if you go a little further, to the Ambassador, for example, then 20 baht per person. But more often than not, drivers now require tourists to pay 20 baht per person. It's useless to argue, just pay and forget. Not only white, but also blue songteos walk along the Sukhumvit track. Blue only to the floating market (do not go to the Ambassador). The Whites pass the Ambassador and continue towards the town of Satahip. Where they have the final is unknown.

The marks on the map at the beginning of the route and at the end are conditional, I do not know exactly where it starts and where it ends. But at these points it passes for sure.

This card can be borrowed for free near many shops in Pattaya. I got this copy at Foodmart, I also saw such cards near 7-Eleven. In addition to the abundance of advertising, there is useful information about the city, telephones of any emergency services and the traffic pattern of tuk tuk.

How to get where by tuk-tuk

I will use the route numbers in the order described in the article above for clarity.

Knock knock as a taxi on observation deck in Pattaya

In the rest of Thailand, this type of public transport is called songteo or baht bus. And the word "tuk tuk" in Asian countries always means a motorcycle on three wheels, which works like a taxi.

Songteo or tuk-tuk in Pattaya is a kind of public transport of the resort, which is accessible to the entire population. Its main advantage is its low cost of travel and an open interior, which is not hot in hot weather. Almost all large and tourist parts of the city can be moved using tuk-tuk, the waiting time for which varies from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the area of Pattaya.

The correct name for tuk-tuk in Pattaya city is songteo. They are the popular and only accessible form of public transport in the resort. The tuk-tuk itself is more popular in Bangkok and looks like a three-wheeled motorcycle.

The tuk-tuk in Pattaya looks different and is a small pickup-type minibus, in the back of which there are two benches. Tuk-tuks are usually covered with a homemade roof, but without doors and walls. This type of public transport is considered the most optimal in the tropical climate of Pattaya.

Such a pickup truck can simultaneously transport 10-12 people with comfortable conditions, where everyone will find their place. Sometimes, in high season or rush hour, 20 people can be seen on tuk-tuk at once, some of them are placed on the back of a pickup truck.

Fare

Tuk-tuk are designed specifically for economical and cheap travel around Pattaya. It is most profitable to travel around the resort by tuk-tuk if you need to get from one end of the city to the other.

Pattaya has a fixed fee for using tuk-tuk, which is very small and is 10 baht. This cost The passage operates both within the boundaries of the resort and between its districts. However, there is a small exception to the tuk-tuk route north end of Sukhumvit Street - Southern City Sattahip. This is the longest distance in Pattaya and therefore the fare is 20 baht.

Where do the tuk-tuk stop?

If you are in Pattaya for the first time, then at first glance, public transport in the city will seem crazy to you, because it walks as it pleases. He does not have a schedule of constant movement, but in the hours of traffic jams of tuk-tuk on the road there are many times more. There are no official or organized stops here. Any tourist can go out or take a tuk-tuk wherever he wishes. The main thing is that in this place you can stop according to the rules of the road.

In order to get into a tuk-tuk, you just need to wave your hand when you see an approaching pickup. It is not accepted here to pay for the fare right away. Before leaving, you need to click on the bell, of which there are a lot of tuk-tuk on the walls and ceiling. After that, you can safely go to the driver and pay for the trip.

An important rule! Try to always keep 10 baht coins in your pocket, as very often tuk-tuk drivers hide behind the fact that they have no change. Therefore, travel will cost you several times more. It is also necessary to always check the change, as Thai drivers love to cash in on tourists.

At the beginning of each end stop, it may take a while for the tuk-tuk to start moving, as each of them only travels after all are filled seat place... During the day, you usually need 20 minutes of time, but at the time of traffic jams (from about 5 to 8 pm), the tuk-tuk fills up in a maximum of 2 minutes.

What is the difference between a public tuk-tuk and a taxi?

Mainly, a tuk-tuk differs from a taxi in the cost of a trip, which in the latter case always starts from 100 baht, which is not very cheap for getting around the resort. Outwardly, it is almost impossible to distinguish a taxi from a tuk-tuk, since one driver in the same car can earn extra money as a driver of public transport or as a taxi driver.

Many tourists have a negative impression of the work of Pattaya's public transport, since it is almost never regulated by anyone. In order not to accidentally sit in a taxi, you need to remember three simple and basic rules:

  1. During traffic jams and at the end of the working day, it can be embarrassing to have only one or several passengers in a tuk-tuk. This fact most likely means that it is a taxi that takes its customers along a given route.
  2. The main rule is, of course, if you see a passing tuk-tuk on the street, which outwardly differs from the images presented in this article. This can also be, but still rarely.
  3. If the tuk-tuk rides completely empty, then there are two possible options - a taxi driver who is looking for passengers or a driver who completes his working day. The second option is most likely possible only on Tappraya Street. On streets such as Yuzhnaya, Vtoraya or Plyazhnaya, an empty tuk-tuk simply means the exit of all passengers.

Tuk-tuk routes

In Russia, at airports or in Pattaya itself, you can purchase a map of the resort's tuk-tuk routes in Russian. It clearly shows the subdivision of the city into districts, indicating their names, and all tuk-tuk routes are marked on it with colors.

On currently there are only 9 routes in Pattaya, each of which has its own color on the map:

  1. The most popular tourist route in Pattaya is green leading to the famous and large shopping and entertainment centers of the city. The starting point of the route is located on Vtoraya Street, not far from the embankment, and the route ends at Plyazhnaya. Thus, this route is circular and takes no more than 25 minutes in total, excluding traffic jams.
  2. Brown the route on the map is also called circular and follows the direction from Jomtien to Tappraya Street. With the help of this tuk-tuk, you can drive almost the entire coast of Pattaya and get to the dolphins or Volkin Street.
  3. Yellow the route follows Naklua Street, the beginning of which is located at the intersection of this street with Naklua Soi. The yellow route runs from south to north along Naklua Street.
  4. Blue the route runs entirely along South Street and ends at the Chaimongkron Temple.
  5. Purple the route runs through Tsentralnaya Street and does not run often enough by local standards - only din once every half hour. Through this route, tourists will be able to reach some of the beaches.
  6. Dark purple the color of the route is also quite rare. Its initial stop is located at the door of the Best supermarket on Severnaya Street, and the final stop is at the intersection of the same street with Sukhumvit.
  7. Orange the only route that costs 20 baht and travels along the entire Sukhumvit street. This route is mainly used by locals who live in remote areas and suburbs resort town.
  8. Red the route runs along Soi Bakao Street, starting at South Street and ending at Central.
  9. Dark green The color of the tuk-tuk route goes along Tepprazit Street. During the day and on weekdays, it is very rare to get on this route, since its movement is completely tied to the work of the night and weekend market in Pattaya.

Tuk-tuk route map

On this map, all the tuk-tuk routes in the Pattaya resort are marked in different colors.

Using tuk-tuks, you can significantly save your budget and constantly move around the city by car. The advantage of tuk-tuk is not only the low cost of travel, but also the availability of routes along all tourist streets, as well as an open salon that will save you from the exhausting heat on the street.

Hello dear friends! I often notice that tourists do not know how to properly use the songthaew in Pattaya. They knock on the driver's window, instead of pressing the bell, pay before boarding, or try, without knowing it, to hire a songteo like a taxi. To help tourists avoid such situations, I decided to write some kind of instructions for using songteo in Pattaya.

As I already wrote in the article about, public transport in Pattaya is often called tuk-tuk. But this is wrong, because tuk-tuk is a three-wheeled form of transport that you will not meet with fire in Pattaya during the day, but there are many of them in Bangkok.

So what's the right way to ride a songthaew in Pattaya? I present to you step by step instructions.

Songteo in Pattaya is one of the favorite tourist attractions!

1. How to stop songteo in Pattaya?

There are no official stops at Songthaew in Pattaya, although tourists are sometimes misled by the signs bus stops that are found on beach streets. So to stop the songteo, just wave your hand.

As a rule, songteos in Pattaya themselves honk to pedestrians while driving, so you don't have to walk, constantly turning around.

Sometimes it happens that the songteo you waved to did not stop, although there were few people in it. This happens when the songteo is busy as a taxi, or when the driver picked up an afternoon sleigh.

2. How do you communicate that you are leaving the songthaew?

The main thing is not to knock on the driver's window or on the roof above him. Go to songteo, look around and you will see immediately small special bells of white or red color... There are several of them in the songteo, they are either on the roof or at the very top of the handrails.

As soon as you see your destination, press the bell. Sometimes the sound is not heard in the cabin, it is heard only from the driver, so do not worry and do not call several times.

And yet songteo in Pattaya is an unsafe form of transport. For example, passengers are poured from head to toe with water!

3. How to pay for the songthaew in Pattaya?

Pay the fare in Pattaya at the exit. Only when you go out go around the songteo to the left! Traffic in Thailand is left-hand, so it is dangerous to go around the songteo on the right (from the driver's side). Several times I saw how people tried to go to the driver among the cars. Nightmare! By the way, you can use.

Money is transferred to the left window- Often a "controller" sits next to the driver of the songteo. This is often a member of the driver's family. If there is no controller, don't worry, the songthaew driver will reach for your money on his own.

4. What money should be used to pay for the songthaew?

Pay the fare for the songteo in Pattaya is better small bills. And don't drop them! Otherwise, it may arise ...

When paying for travel to songthaew in Pattaya, it is best to pay for coins or small bills - 10, 20 or 50 baht... Unfortunately, there are times when unscrupulous songteo drivers, having received large bills of 100, 500 or 1000 baht for the journey, run off the spot without giving change or giving less change.

One of such cases was described to us in ours.

5. How not to pay more?

A typical mistake of tourists is to approach the driver of a songthaew in Pattaya and ask if he will get to such and such a hotel / shop / restaurant. The driver interprets it as if you are trying to hire his songteo like a taxi., and tells you the price from 150 baht. While all the others will go to the songteo for 10 baht.

Therefore, our advice: study the route map of songteo in Pattaya in advance, if necessary, ask other passengers how best to get to the place you need. You can find the map near the 7-Eleven store, which.

Songteo routes in Pattaya are indicated on many city maps. And they walk stably both day and night. But still, the normal public transport network is.

TWO EXTRA TIPS

  • If you see that the songteo is overcrowded and you can only ride on the back step, it is better to wait another - good, there is no shortage of songteo in Pattaya. When the songteo is driving slowly, it is not dangerous to ride on the back platform; but when he passes large sections without passengers and accelerates, you have to hold on very, very tightly.
  • If you suddenly decide to drive into the songteo with a hare, the driver will not chase you with a stick. But then he will probably give change to the other passenger not in his favor. Therefore, our advice: just go to the window and apologize for not being able to pay. Nothing bad will happen, Thais are very understanding people.

How much is the fare to Songthaew in Pattaya?

Around the city within one route - 10 baht.
On two routes - 20 baht.
Sukhumvit - 20 baht.

"Knock Knock" translated from Thai means "cheap" ... In fact, the Russian tourists got it all mixed up. What they call tuk-tuk is a songteo (minibus). Pickup with two rows of shops. It really is very inexpensive - 10-20 baht per person. They operate as public transport and private taxis.

In the general sense, tuk-tuks are private moto and bicycle carriages for 2-4 people. The latter work exclusively as taxis and are not cheap. In our article we will talk about tuk-tuk - songteo. They are the ones who travel on fixed routes in Pattaya.

Tuk-tuk routes in Pattaya on the map

Tuk-tuk in Pattaya do not go everywhere. The city is big, but pick-ups work only in the center - where tourists go, where the main ones are located, and. This is a private transport, it has its own traffic rules.

But if you saw the songteo not on the streets that we will talk about below, then this is not a minibus, but a taxi. However, first things first.

The routes of their movement in Pattaya can be found on the maps lying in hotels or in supermarkets. Sometimes they are even given away for free.

If you see an empty car, then it can work like a taxi. At the same time, the fee is increased by 10 times. it a good option for a big company to get to the right place. It is customary to pay in tuk-tuk after the end of the trip.

Enjoy your travels!

Pattaya - enough Big City in Thailand, so large that you can't walk from one end to the other. Lovers hiking, of course, they will be indignant, they say, and not such distances traveled, but most of the tourists come to Pattaya to have a rest. This means that the maximum marathons they are counting on are 300 meters from the sea and 200 to the restaurant, so as not to damage their forms, acquired by long hours of office life. Therefore, this article will focus on how to reduce the number of hiking to a minimum, if possible, not too broke.

As for me, Pattaya is very similar to some popular black sea resort, for example, Adler, Gelendzhik, Anapa or Kabardinka. I even compared Pattaya with the latter in one of the essays. Many people. There are a lot of people: in the city, in cafes, in restaurants, on the beach, on the streets in transport. In the central part of the city, the sea is dirty, and the beaches are clogged, so many people want to scatter to the outskirts. Bastion, the market, large supermarkets, all of this cannot be reached on foot, so you have to study the peculiarities of local transport, to which you begin to get used to it over time.

Why did Pattaya remind me of Kabardinka? There are also many Russian or Russian-speaking people here, the entire local population is employed in the service sector, and the conditions are far from a tropical paradise, such as on the islands. For comparison, read a couple of articles, you may notice some noticeable differences:

Transport in Pattaya is represented by the following types, I will try to list it as the cost of a trip around the city increases:

  • Sangteo (knock knock) in Pattaya. These are pickups converted into urban transport, with two-row seats in the back. By mistake, tourists often call them tuk-tuk, but this is not true. There are about 10 sangteo routes in the city, most of them cost 10 baht per person.
  • Knock knock in Pattaya. It is a three-wheeled moped or scooter with a passenger sofa in the back. Seen only a few times, it is more of a decorative mode of transport, the cost of the trip usually depends on your bargaining skills.
  • Moto taxi in Pattaya. Quite a popular form of transport, consisting of a bike and a driver, to which you sit as a passenger. There is an official taxi service with fixed prices from 60 baht around the city per person, but as in all of Asia, you can try to catch a private owner, which is often even cheaper.
  • Grab and Uber internet services in Pattaya. Not many people know, but in the city there are a couple of taxi drivers working with international services, the price of which is lower than generally accepted standards in Pattaya. On average, the price of a trip is 30 baht per 1 km from the main amenities, this is the possibility of paying by card, using additional bonuses, as well as clearly indicating the pick-up / drop-off points on the map
  • Sangteo in the form of a taxi in Pattaya. For a large company, it may be quite profitable to rent a sangteo instead of a regular taxi. The price of the trip will be 300-400 baht per car, and its capacity is about 10 people, although if you wish, you can get more dense. Well, you yourself saw 20 girls climb into the Zaporozhets, and the pickup has a much larger body
  • Taxi around the city. There are two options for taxi rides in Thailand and Pattaya in particular: "by meter" or "by agreement". As a rule, the second option turns out to be more expensive, except for cases when the taxi driver, not knowing where to go, runs around the city winding up the counter. The average cost of a taxi ride is 250 - 400 baht, but the Sangteo taxi cannot boast of its capacity. One of the advantages of a taxi is air conditioning, so the trip will be cool, without noise and dust.
  • Buses in Pattaya. Judging by the old records, there used to be two voyage routes with a trip price of about 5 baht, but they were canceled long ago. Therefore, buses to Pattaya either bring tourists from the airport or take them to the airport. Buses can be conditionally divided into three types: regular, regular express, transfer. The first two come from the bus stations, of which there are also two in Pattaya and differ in route and travel time. The latter type is used for the delivery of package tourists, from which few are available.

As you can see, transport in Pattaya is quite familiar, with the exception of Sangteo and motorcycle taxis, so I will dwell on them in more detail.

Among other things, in Pattaya, and throughout Thailand, you can rent or buy: a bicycle, bike or car, but they deserve a separate article. The main thing to remember is that in Thailand they are stricter regarding the observance of traffic rules, and it is easy to go to jail for drunk driving, so most tourists prefer to use city transport.

How to use tuk-tuk in Pattaya sangteo routes

As I wrote just above, Sangteo is often called tuk-tuk in Pattaya. Tourists generally like to call any unusual form of transport a tuk-tuk. Sangteo is a pickup truck with two rows of seats facing each other, while a tuk-tuk is just a moped with one couch (sometimes two) for passengers. In Pattaya, sangteo is used as an urban form of transport, which in most cases costs 10 baht, with the exception of particularly long routes. There is one caveat that if the driver asks where to take you, then he wants to act as a taxi and will not charge you 10 baht, so you should refuse such a sangteo and go on the next one where there are people.

At first, it seems that tuk-tuk (sangteo) scurrying in all directions around Pattaya move chaotically and it is extremely difficult to guess what you need. However, this is not quite true. The city has about 10 regular routes followed by the sangteo. Remains main question how to understand where a particular pickup is going?

The route is written on the visor of the tuk-tuk (sangteo) in front, unfortunately, in most cases it is written in the local language, completely incomprehensible to tourists, but there are exceptions. In addition, the route number is indicated on the visor. In Pattaya, maps of the city are distributed at every corner, including sangteo routes.

The trouble is, all the names look similar: Naklua - Jamtien, Naklua South Pattaya, but the drivers drive on them as they like. I noticed that the same sangteo numbers prefer to travel along the same route. So next to my house, the 209th tuk-tuk runs regularly. For ease of movement, it is advisable to have an idea of the end points on each tuk-tuk route in Pattaya, in this case it will be much easier to choose the right direction and get to the right place with a minimum number of changes, and therefore with a minimum amount of costs.

How to use tuk-tuk (sangteo) in Pattaya

In order not to overpay for the use of public transport in any way, I will briefly tell you about the basic rules for traveling on a tuk-tuk (sangteo) in Pattaya. Once again, large blue or white jeeps (passenger pickups) are correctly called sangteos, but for convenience I will sometimes call them tuk-tuk, all the same, the latter are extremely rare here.

It is important to remember that sometimes such sangteos can be empty in unusual places most likely they earn money this way, working in taxi mode. Therefore, I recommend to sit in an empty sangteo only when moving along the route or when it is at the end point of the route.

  • Another equally important rule of travel by tuk-tuk in Patatya is the principle: "go the wrong place - get out", sometimes drivers can change routes at their discretion, hoping to collect more passengers, so it is not always possible to guess exactly where he will go next ... For example, on one of the forums I read interesting news regarding travel:

The girl in info-service said:

“They themselves do not know where they will go next, where they want, and they will turn there. Or to the North, in the direction of Sukumvit, or further to Nyklya, or to the left, to Beach Road, ”to the second round. Depends on his mood and the number of passengers, i.e. where it seems to him now would be more profitable to drive. "

  • The opening hours of sangteo in Pattaya depend on the routes, the most popular of them are available 24 hours a day, only the number of vehicles is decreasing. While less popular ones begin to move strictly according to the needs of tourists, for example, from 5:30 - 6:00
  • Last but not least. When boarding the tuk-tuk Sangteo in Pattaya, watch your pockets. There are plenty of virtuoso pickpockets here, they often act according to proven international schemes: they sit in a crowd, squeeze from all sides, and at some point they empty your pockets. Therefore, always be on the alert when using city transport.

Happy rest, and fun riding around the city of Pattaya, in fact, it is quite fun here, and not as dangerous as they like to scare us. Come and see for yourself.
