Transfer transportation of any types of weapons and ammunition is prohibited.

During the flight, a passenger is prohibited from having in the aircraft cabin:

The weapon of a passenger who has the right to store and carry it at the airport of departure is necessarily transferred to the Carrier for temporary storage during the flight and is issued to the passenger at the end of the flight at the destination airport.

If the aircraft's route runs across a state border, then the issue of carrying weapons on board must be regulated in advance by the passenger with the relevant authorities of the interested states in order to comply with the laws and regulations in force in these states. The passenger must have permission to enter the country with weapons from the competent authorities of that state.

Acceptance of weapons for transportation, preparation of the necessary documents, delivery on board the aircraft at the departure airport and issuance of weapons at the destination airport is carried out by an aviation security officer (SAS).

Acceptance of weapons from a passenger for temporary storage for the period of the flight is formalized by an act drawn up in triplicate, which is signed by the passenger who owns the weapon and the SAB employee. The first copy of the act is also signed by the Carrier and remains at the airport of departure in CAB, the second copy is handed over to the Carrier, and the third is issued to the passenger for receiving weapons at the destination airport. The SAB officer informs the passenger-owner of the weapon about the procedure for receiving it at the destination airport.

This category includes belongings of passengers whose dimensions exceed the established 203 cm in three parameters (height, length, width). Also oversized and heavy luggage - luggage whose weight exceeds 32 kg. It is transported for a fee in the cargo hold. In addition, this category includes sport equipment and equipment that cannot be carried in checked baggage.

Important! Transportation of items classified as heavy luggage is carried out in accordance with established tariffs.

On airline flights, the cost of the service is 500 rubles. This is in addition to flights from Moscow to Nadym and back, as well as from Moscow to Noyabrsk and back. On them, the price of transporting 1 kg of luggage in excess of the norm costs 90 rubles.

Baggage carried in a separate passenger seat

According to Yamal Airlines rules, luggage can be transported not in the cargo compartment, but directly in the aircraft cabin. These may be fragile and expensive items. For example, film, television, photo, video and radio equipment, as well as optical and electronic instruments, musical instruments. It is worth considering that the transportation of such luggage must be agreed upon with the airline in advance. For this purpose, a separate passenger seat will be allocated, for which you need to purchase a separate ticket. But it happens that all the seats in the cabin are already booked. In this case, the airline has the right to refuse to provide such a service.

Advice. To transport luggage in the aircraft cabin, it is better to book a seat along with the main ticket.

The cost of such a ticket will be 100% according to the tariff. There are no discounts or benefits provided. The weight of luggage carried in the cabin must not exceed 80 kg. This is the average weight of an adult. The packaging dimensions must allow the item to be placed on the passenger seat and fastened (it must have special fastenings).

Transportation of animals

The airline does not prohibit transporting pets. The only thing to consider is that the passenger must obtain permission. To do this, he must notify the carrier that a pet is traveling with him. The fact is that a certain number of animals can be on board an aircraft at the same time. If the passenger does not notify about the transportation of the pet, he may be denied the service.

Important! The company must be notified no later than 24 hours before the aircraft departure.

Rules for transporting animals in the aircraft cabin:

• the weight of the pet together with the cage (carrying) should not exceed 8 kg;
• Only one animal per passenger is allowed to be transported;
• The pet must only be in a cage/container.

As for cages, containers/containers/baskets/bags, they should not exceed 115 cm in size in three dimensions (width, height and length). Their depth can be up to 40 cm. But at the same time, the animal should be comfortable to turn around and stand up. The frame of the cage or container must be made of durable material so that in the event of a force majeure situation it can withstand sufficient mechanical loads. There should be ventilation holes on its walls, and absorbent and soft bedding on the bottom.

In addition, to transport a pet you need to obtain a veterinary certificate, Form No. 1. It is issued by the city veterinary institution. This is what you will need to travel on domestic flights.

• veterinary passport with vaccination records;
• veterinary certificate (issued at the airport veterinary service);
• veterinary certificate international standard(it is issued on the basis of a veterinary certificate at the veterinary service of border control);

Transportation of sports equipment

Sports equipment and inventory are transported as excess baggage. Accordingly, the service is paid at the air carrier’s tariffs. Sports equipment must be packed in special cases. One case can contain several pairs of skis or snowboards, the total weight of which does not exceed 32 kg.

The free baggage allowance includes the following:

• 1 set of ski equipment;
• 1 snowboard and additional equipment (helmet, boots and goggles);
• 1 pair of skis with poles.

You can transport sports equipment for free, the weight of which together with the cover does not exceed 20 kg. It is allowed to have one set of equipment in one case. On charter flights You can carry free sports equipment whose weight and dimensions meet the established standards for checked baggage.

What to do if your luggage is damaged or lost

Unfortunately, not all passengers receive their belongings upon arrival. The baggage may have been sent by the airline on the wrong flight, or may be completely lost. What to do in this case? Firstly, you do not need to leave the baggage claim area. There is a search counter located in it. Secondly, you need to write an application to search for things, as well as draw up an act. The search desk staff will help with this. Based on these documents, search activities will be carried out. If the luggage is not found, the airline must compensate the passenger for the amount of damage. To do this, the passenger needs to write a statement. In case of refusal, he has the right to file a claim and recover damages in court.

If the luggage is damaged, the passenger must also seek help from the company's employees. But there is one caveat. If luggage is damaged, the damage is compensated based on the cost of insurance.
