Everything is great, the only disappointment is that all the sunbeds near the pool were constantly occupied

Worthy budget hotel

This hotel is suitable for picky tourists and budget holiday. Location - 15 minutes to all parties, 3 minutes to a shopping center with a canteen, McDonald's, Starbucks, etc. The hotel is not new, although they monitor the condition (they paint the walls, the air conditioner in the room is only 2 years old). The price/quality balance is excellent! A clean pool with a depth of 180 cm (this is rare). If the air conditioner blows into the bed, then with the remote control you can direct the air stream lower or higher. If you leave fruit skins in the room, then small ants come)

Thanks to our favorite hotel for an amazing honeymoon; we didn’t deliberate for long before deciding to return to the hotel again. Ideal location relative to the City Center, Fruit Market, pier and other frequently used places. We returned to the hotel two years later and were pleasantly surprised, the quality of cleaning has become much better, it is clear that the rooms are now being looked after more, the breakfasts have become more varied and tastier. I'm staying at the hotel again because coming here feels like home. The hotel, of course, is not new, but it will provide you with comfort, a great location in the center of Pattaya, a gorgeous swimming pool and amazing staff - those very Thai smiles that are talked about so much, but which are often lost in the huge tourist flow in other places in Pattaya. Therefore, I choose MERCURE PATTAYA again. Thanks to all!

I really liked the pool, it was big, the child was delighted and so were we. There are also various entertainments: billiards, ping pong, table football, a room for children. Breakfast is good, but the main menu is the same every day, sometimes European dishes change.

The girls at the reception are always friendly and quickly respond to all requests. Delicious and varied breakfasts. Indians are very noisy, but they are not asked to be quiet until one of the visitors begins to complain, although they could listen to music until 6 in the morning and knock on other people's doors at night.

Warm, cozy, soulful! Excellent breakfast, nice room. But the best thing is the swimming pool. I wouldn’t get out of it at all if it were possible. The only small negative is the poor Wi-Fi. Do something about the quality of the Internet, and the price of the hotel will not be reduced! Thank you all so much, it was great!

The hotel absolutely does not correspond to the 4* category, nor does it belong to a well-known chain. I would like to add that after 2 nights of staying at the hotel, despite non-refundable tariff and quite high cost new year holidays(9,000 rubles per night, we booked about 12 nights), we moved to another Pattaya hotel. We also previously vacationed in a well-known chain on the island of Koh Chang, where the cost was not significantly more expensive, but the level of the hotel differed significantly. I absolutely did not like: 1. The furniture is old and cheap. The plumbing requires major repairs. 2. The walls in the shower and toilet are dirty 3. Bathrobes in the rooms have holes, towels are worn out to holes. 4. Breakfasts are very meager: no porridge, there was almost never cheese, very bad choice(sausage, bacon, sausages, egg dishes, muesli). There were no tea bags, the coffee was disgusting. The omelette filling consisted only of tomatoes. 5. No privileges for program participants and birthday people during their stay. 6. Terrible uncomfortable sunbeds near the pool. The area around the pool is dirty, there is a smell of sewage from a nearby building. 7. There is no security at the hotel, at night drunken visitors took prostitutes to their rooms, no one stopped them at the hotel. But there were many families with children. I strongly recommend that the management of the chain pay attention to this hotel!!! This is a shame for Mercure!

Good afternoon, my name is Alexey, I’m staying at this hotel for the fourth time. The level of service is excellent. The hotel is clean and always in order. The staff is very responsive, always ready to help in any situation. I especially wanted to note the work of the manager named Tim (at the reception desk). He helped us in many matters, he speaks well English language, always very friendly and courteous, special thanks to him for this (Hello, Tim, if you’re reading this) Maybe it’s only thanks to him that we choose this hotel every time. Overall all the staff are very nice and friendly. This year we reconstructed the playground and Children's swimming pool, it left a good impression. In my opinion, the evening sea barbecues should not have been removed. I was also very disappointed by the increase in prices for cocktails and alcoholic drinks - you are losing customers! Last time I bought a lot more at the aquabar for myself and my family, we regularly ordered pizza (there were a lot of promotions: buy one, get the second free). Now there are no promotions, or there are very few of them, and prices have also been increased, so now it is not profitable for me and my family to buy at the hotel. This is upsetting. Also, as a wish, make more Russian TV channels on your TV, otherwise there are only 2 and that’s not enough. This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel. We come once every six months. We go to Pataya, as some say, as if we were going to a dacha; there is something to compare it with. We really like the hotel, firstly for its location, it is in the center and at the same time 50 meters from all the noise and hubbub, the hotel itself is quiet and there is no street noise at all. Secondly, there is its own area with a very nice swimming pool, and its own tropical oasis; I repeat, the hotel is located in the very center, everything is within walking distance. During our half a year of absence, we did a lot for the kids, near the pool, they installed a slide and much more, the grandson was happy. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen is changed. The staff does everything to the maximum to ensure that vacationers have a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. We will come here constantly, we really like it here, unless of course they raise the price tag, otherwise, as soon as you say something good, everything starts to become more expensive.

Mercure Hotel Pattaya 4* is located in the central part of Pattaya. A 15-minute walk to the famous Walking Street and the city beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a fee. Beach towels are free. Hotel next to shopping and entertainment the center of the Avenue Pattaya. Modern hotel with stylish room decor. Offered: 97 superior (28 sq.m.), 134 deluxe (28 sq.m.), 8 family room (36 sq.m.), 12 family suite (32 sq.m.), 2 grand suite (72 sq.m.). Wifi is provided free of charge. 2 bottles of water daily free of charge, there is an electric kettle and bags of tea, coffee and sugar. The hotel has three restaurants serving delicious Thai and international cuisine and a jazz bar with live music. The hotel is 123 km from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, approximately 1 hour 25 minutes and 43 km from U-Tapao Airport, approximately 45 minutes drive. Recommended for family vacation with kids.

Vacationed with my husband in December through Anex tour. It took us an hour and a half to get from Utapao airport, and they picked us up last.
Check-in starts at 2 p.m., but our room was already ready, so after paying the deposit we checked in immediately. The other two couples waited a bit.
The room is quite large, with a balcony and sun loungers. View of the hotel under construction opposite, which blocked the sun on the pool for up to 10 hours. But they didn’t build in the evening, and in principle the construction didn’t interfere at all. The room has a kettle, tea, coffee, a full minibar of alcoholic and no drinks, but this is paid. The prices, of course, compared to street stores, are astronomical, so everything was immediately put on the shelves and not used. They provide a liter of water for two in glass bottles. You can’t throw away bottles, they are paid for. There was a plastic bottle for 2 liters for 200 baht (roughly 400 rubles). It is cheaper to buy water in stores (more on this below). There is a free safe. There is shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The shampoo doesn't foam at all, so we bought it ourselves at the store. There were also no toothbrushes or toothpaste. We bought it too. There really is no curtain in the shower, so water sometimes splashed on the floor. But there is a towel for the feet, which was laid on the floor instead of a rug. Oh yes, a plasma with a flash drive reading function, onto which we pre-loaded TV series for evening viewing.
Cleaned every day and well. Everything that was left on the tables was not taken. That is, there are no thefts, as happens in other hotels. A couple of times they forgot to put toilet paper, after asking the reception for some reason they brought body lotions and hair conditioner, which were not there before, but there was no paper) But nothing, they asked the cleaning lady herself again.
The hotel itself is small and not many people. There were never any queues or crowds, for example at breakfast. On site there is a cafe with the same cosmic prices, free billiards and table football. There is something like a cinema (with a projector, probably) on the street, but we haven’t seen how it works. The pool is big. There are cool stone loungers on which you can sunbathe and cool off at the same time. There are steps in the water near the fountain where mostly foreigners sat. It’s like a seal stone)) There were balls floating in the pool, you could play, there were buoys instead of a net. There is also a spa on site, but we didn’t go.
Breakfast includes Chinese, Korean, Indian and European food. Every day it was the same thing, but I didn’t get tired of it. Pasta with eggs, potatoes, chicken sausages, sausage, kimchi, fruit, toast, various cakes, eggs in various types, fried bacon, jams, juices, coffee. Tasty!
The majority of vacationers are Turks, Germans, Chinese, and a couple of Americans, as it seemed. The Chinese and Turks are noisy, to say the least, especially at night. Only 4 couples saw Russians, along with ours. There are no children, which made me happy (depending on who). Although there is a children's room, it is closed. Foreigners mostly order Thai girls and have fun as best they can. Why and loudly. No one makes any comments to them. But such individuals will probably be found everywhere.
Breakfast runs from 6.30 (if I remember correctly) to 10. Very convenient for those who leave early for excursions (in other hotels from 8, said compatriots who were left hungry before a long trip). You can also order breakfast earlier. You can have lunch and dinner a la carte if someone doesn’t want to go into the city. But again the question is price.
The hotel itself is located on the third line. Crossing the road we find ourselves in a mini shopping mall with cafes, gaming PS and shops. There are more cafes with European cuisine. In the same location there is a store, like our Auchan. Prices are cheaper than Family mart and 7eleven. We bought water in boxes for 12 baht a bottle. On the second line to the right there is a clothing night market. To the left is the vegetable shop, but you need to take two tuk-tuks to get there. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Walking Street, given the crowds of people on the sidewalks.
10 minutes to the sea, if not less. But we didn't swim. The shore is very narrow, no one lies or sunbathes. Along the descent to the sea there are trash cans and mountains of garbage. There are so many ships, boats, and boats standing along. Although the water itself is no dirtier than the Black Sea. In the evening we took a walk along the shore. City lights, music, sea. Yeah! There were fat rats running around there, so we quickly ran away from there and never walked along the shore again.
