• A synthetic cage of at least three meters. The rules of the competition prohibit the use of a cage of shorter length; metal ones are also prohibited. Only live fish will be accepted for weighing;
• It is better to take a landing net with a long handle, at least 230 cm. Often you have to fish from bridges or high banks;
• Plastic feeders, preferably without a bottom, weighing from 14-56 grams. If the pond is up to 1 meter deep, you have to use a light weight feeder. When falling on water, it is practically inaudible;
• Hooks No. 10-14, thickness 0.40-0.60mm.

We don’t spare money on bait, the more expensive the better. Take three packages - carp, roach, bream. Do mixture - 15% roach, 25% bream and 60% carp. Naturally, the mixture must be filled with aromatics. You should not use one scent, a combination is better, for example: plum-corn, strawberry-vanilla, chocolate-caramel. Let’s also not forget about hemp seeds, which can be prepared directly on the pond. By autumn we add fishy smells.

What to fish with at feeder competitions?

It is better to use sandwiches: maggot corn, worm corn, blood worm. I don’t recommend fishing with boilies, they are not for competitions.

As for equipment, just DON'T COMPLETE! Whatever you feel comfortable and comfortable fishing in is what you should be wearing. At competitions they don’t evaluate what you’re wearing, and those around you honestly don’t care about you. Don't forget to take a raincoat and boots.

1. Fishing is done with one fishing rod equipped with one single hook. The weight and shape of sinkers and floats are arbitrary. The weights should be placed on the line above the hook. It is allowed to equip fishing rods with guide rings and reels. The number of spare rods and gear is not limited.

3. Competitions are held from the shore, from the bridge and on other suitable shores of the reservoir.

4. The site is divided into sectors according to the number of athletes.
The length of the sector along the shore is set from 9 to 20 m by decision of the panel of judges or the technical commission. Sectors and zones are separated from each other by a neutral strip 1 m wide. If necessary, gaps between zones are allowed.

5. Upon the athlete’s arrival at his sector, he must put down his fishing equipment in his sector and then leave the sector. This also applies to persons helping to carry equipment.
Any preparation of gear and other equipment is prohibited before the “Ready” signal.
At the signal “Get ready,” the athletes occupy their sectors and begin preparing for fishing. 6. At the second signal (5 minutes before the start), supplementary feeding is allowed to begin. The method of casting and the shape of the bait being thrown are arbitrary. It is prohibited to use feeders or other packaging for feeding.
After the third signal (“Start”) and until the end of the competition, feeding is allowed only in small portions of bait of arbitrary shape. The amount of bait in one thrown portion must fit in a clenched fist. Making lumps of bait is carried out only with one hand, without using a stop (bucket, stand, etc.). These lumps are allowed to be made only after the “Start” signal. Throwing the bait with only one hand or using a portable slingshot that can be held with both hands is allowed. The bait must be formed and thrown without any packaging devices.

7. The athlete is allowed to use bait and bait of natural origin. The bait and bait can be painted and impregnated with odorous substances. Lures containing live or dead fish, as well as fish eggs, are prohibited. The use of narcotic and fish intoxicating substances is prohibited.
