Therefore, saving on accommodation, you will have to take a bus to the public beach. And imagine what it’s like to be in a concrete city in 40 degree heat. It's obviously hard. Air conditioners are a lifesaver; they are even available at bus stops, which is definitely a plus.

How much does a holiday in Abu Dhabi cost? March 2019.

This year we chose the United Arab Emirates, since in March there is ideal weather for both excursion and beach holiday. The cost of the tour for 7 nights for three people was 106 thousand rubles and we took about 50,000 rubles with us. We flew from Yekaterinburg, since the nearest city of Tyumen sends tourists to the UAE from Roshchino airport for more high price. We got to Yekaterinburg by train, but in any case the price was lower than the flight from Tyumen.

We spent two days in Abu Dhabi, the rest of the time we lived in Sharjah. Abu Dhabi is the capital, so prices for hotel accommodation and food here are several times higher, but at the same time there are fewer comfortable beaches here, so I advise you to choose Sharjah or Ajman if you are planning a beach holiday.

Food and products

Lunch in an Abu Dhabi restaurant for a family will cost about 200 dirhams (in rubles this is about 4000). You can save money by going to shopping centers in the food court area, where you will find restaurants fast food with sets for 40 dirhams, which includes food and drinks.

There is nothing cheap in the Emirates, although you can often hear that many people go there for shopping. This is especially true for gold. Firstly, it is of a higher standard, but at the same time it looks like cheap yellow jewelry, and costs from 20 to 50 thousand rubles for a 42 cm chain. Secondly, you can easily be deceived by selling gold of a lower standard for a lot of money, realizing that you don’t understand this, but simply decided that there is a lot of gold in the Emirates, so it should be cheap.

Impressions from a holiday in March

For me personally, it was a great time to relax, the air temperature was up to +30 degrees, and the sea warmed up to +26, a very comfortable month for a trip. Moreover, at that time there was still snow and it was cold, but here we got into summer and enjoyed it to the fullest.

When power is in Dubai passed to the Al-Maktoum dynasty, the territory became independent. In 1929, the invention of artificial pearls gradually became a major activity in the Dubai, and the economy went into decline. The largest shopping center in the Middle East, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper is nearby. The Mall area is just it doesn’t fit in your head - it’s 1.2 million square meters. m! True shopaholics will find their refuge here. Who are ready to literally disappear for several days among the boutiques. The gap among boutiques is quite real, since there are about 1200 of them here. Roberto Cavalli, Galliano, "Golden Bazaar", "Fashion Island", Burberry, Versace - these are some of the few names. Of course, the hospitable Arabs could not rebuild such a square and not provide entertainment on it. Children have their own separate world - a children's entertainment and educational center located on 8000 sq. m, there is also a huge SEGA themed department. It seems that the Arabs tried to make their country truly fabulous and rich. Where could one of the largest singing fountains in the world be located? Of course in Dubai! Have you already reviewed all the wonders of the United Emirates? Don’t rush to be enchanted, because you haven’t seen the main thing! How many everything here is man-made, beautiful and amazing, but this flower garden will outshine everything. It opened on February 14, 2013, which is very symbolic. Where, if not here, can you confess your love and ask for your hand in marriage? Territory of 72,000 sq. m. is planted with 45 types of flowers. According to workers' estimates, about 45 million flowers are planted on the territory and all of them amaze with their splendor, color and all kinds of combinations. Your head will spin! Many flowers were brought specially from other countries. The exhibition consists of emerald lawns, floral arches, and vintage cars decorated with floral motifs. The most common flowers here are petunias, geraniums, calendula, coleus, and lobelias.
While rebuilding that park, the Arabs wanted to get into the Guinness Book of Records. They created a ten-meter pyramid of flowers, occupying 144 square meters. m, as well as a flower wall 3 meters high and 800 meters long. But the most amazing thing here is the portrait of the founder of the emirates, made only from flowers! The portrait is surrounded by seven flower hearts that symbolize the seven emirates.

Aquarium at Dubai Mall

Traveling by bus will be the fastest way to travel, since there is a separate lane dedicated to it. Here, every bus is equipped with air conditioning, which is important when traveling in such weather conditions. There are almost no local residents on the bus; they prefer to travel in their own cars. The bulk of people using buses are tourists and visiting workers.

Car rental in Dubai
If you feel confident on the roads and have an extra 100-1500 dirhams per day, then this option will please you. Gasoline in the emirates is relatively inexpensive; you will have to pay for it in addition to renting a car. It is better to take a car with a navigator, because it is easy to get lost in Dubai.
