In the family building d, it is very dark in the evening and there are no lanterns. On the first evening, in the dark with a sleeping child in my arms, it was very difficult to find my number. And the room for families, we lived with three children, does not really have a closet. There is practically nowhere to hang clothes. At the same time, there is a closet in building B. Very expensive hotel restaurants. This hotel is located a little far from the village; in the evening there is no shuttle service from the hotel. We walked along the sea. Children like the funicular, but of course it goes very slowly.

We stayed in this hotel in 3 rooms. One room in the building for families. And 2 rooms in the building on the first level. In this hotel great beach, there are many trees that create shade, convenient especially with children. There are steps at the entrance to the water; when we visited, it was high tide during the day, so there was plenty of water. Good, varied breakfast. A baby cot was provided upon request. Excellent sea views, 2 swimming pools. In the building where there is breakfast there is a lighthouse that you can climb to.

I was a little surprised that the beach was separate for residents of the villas. It was strange, it seemed like the building was right under your windows and there was no way out to it. I think this is pointless, because swimming to it is not a problem. It’s easier to immediately make a path from the body)

When we first arrived, we saw that all the buildings were from the 80s, and we were a little upset. But then we realized that this, even though it was built a long time ago, was a luxurious hotel with a rich infrastructure, gorgeous views and excellent service. We took a room in a building by the sea.

A huge room is perfectly clean every day, a comfortable, well-thought-out area, there is a call for a free electric car, a cable car with 4 stops, the pictures on the booking are completely true, there are excursions and transfers right up to the airport (the price is almost 12go) right at the hotel, rental of kayaks, subs, speedboats, sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as beach towels are free, the beach is protected from the tide, there is a spa and massage both separately and on the beach. Before deciding on the choice of hotel, we looked at several others on the neighboring beaches, including one, and definitely came to the conclusion that this is the place for us) We stayed in the family deluxe, room 9003. Excellent location - nearby breakfast, parking, funicular stop, swimming pool. The room is very spacious, two rooms, clean and comfortable. From the window you can see the sea and the nearest islands. The beach is perfect. Small, of course, but clean and safe. The sunbeds have a map of the bottom - you can see where the bottom is sandy and shallow, and where there are corals and deep. The beach is cleaned and clean. We didn't notice any fleas/flies. Whereas on the neighboring beach the algae is not removed, there are heaps on the shore and there are a lot of bitten people. Very hilly area. Walking is a bit difficult, but there is always a cable car or an electric car that will quickly take you to the desired point. The pool below was closed for renovation, but that didn't bother us at all. Upstairs there is a beautiful swimming pool with a slide and a stunning view of the sea. On the beach in the restaurant there is a kayak rental service - convenient. Monkeys run around the area, but they are more fun than dangerous. I liked everything very much.

The attitude of the staff towards the guests is completely indifferent, there is no top management in the hotel... the hotel is not worthy of five stars at all... the room was booked 3 months in advance, and by the time of arrival, the hotel had begun reconstruction of the pool, which the staff did not even bother to warn about. ..the holiday passed to the sound of jackhammers...We stayed in this hotel two years ago, so there is something to compare with. The hotel claims to be five star, but in reality it is not. The rooms are very poorly cleaned, they just wipe the floor, wash the bathroom and that’s it. This is not enough for five stars. The room is not comfortable and all the furniture is old. The towels are gray. The dishes are not washed in the room - I washed them myself. Overall, it's pretty cool. The minibar is almost empty - they could have thought about that. As for breakfast, it's not great. Everything is standard: omelettes, fruit, sausages, tea and coffee with pastries. Not much variety for vegans. 2 years ago it was more soulful in this hotel. When cleaning the rooms, we carefully laid out all our things, folded our bathrobes and removed excess wet towels. We will not go to this hotel again.

The mountain trailer - the one that takes you up the mountain for breakfast and to the upper building, which already runs very slowly and cannot cope with the flow of guests even in the off-season, was constantly turned off in the rain, and then simply closed for repairs ((As a result, everyone is transported back and forth in ancient open cars from which monstrous black smoke comes out when climbing a steep mountain - and passengers breathe in these exhausts while driving through the beautiful green jungle(((. In our room the air conditioner and socket were faulty , some of the furniture was missing, the dilapidated duvet cover was washed down to small holes. As a result, after repeated calls and attempts to repair and fix it, half the next day the staff and I looked for a suitable and free room in the building and moved - we found it and no longer paid attention to the loudly buzzing old refrigerator and broken cabinet door(. The pool below is closed for renovations until October due to noisy construction work. The two oldest buildings next to this pool are therefore impossible to live in. The upper building, where breakfast is served and the most decent new rooms, have difficult access due to a non-working trolley and smoking machines. Our building next to the ocean was the only convenient option, but the rooms....... And by the way, another surprising circumstance - the beach located under the windows of our building - does not belong to the hotel, but belongs to the neighboring three-star ((and bungalow cabins under the windows also relate to the neighboring one. Conclusion: the place is good, but the management and management decisions are inadequate, strange and illogical; the staff is nice - but we did not understand or see that anyone really manages it, there are a lot of staff - but everyone is a little lost and disorganized.

From time to time, terrible screams and female squeals were heard throughout the entire building from guests from neighboring rooms, who found their rooms and balconies looted - monkeys stole food, cleaning products and light clothing. The monkeys are not to blame (this is their territory: the island of Koh Chang is a nature reserve) - the hotel guests who play, feed and tease are to blame. We prepared, knowing the situation at the hotel - we read how to behave.

We vacationed with a friend at the beginning of April 2018. We arrived at 10, we were immediately sent to breakfast and placed in an excellent room with a balcony, a refrigerator, air conditioning and a kettle with dishes were free. There are many cafes on the beach and in general there is a hip atmosphere... Nearby are all the necessary shops, an exchange office and rentals.

The hotel room itself was clean, the only thing I wasn't pleased with was the rusty wardrobe from the past with a non-working safe and the strange bathroom, it was always wet because... The shower is located between the sink and toilet, where water drains onto the floor. The staff, if you leave the key, will clean at least every day, but to change the bed it is better to ask separately, it takes a long time to clean, it took half a day before they started cleaning, it’s not very convenient, the staff there is not efficient at all, there is often no one at the reception, the waiters are from the cafe They will even carry cola from the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes. And we don’t recommend eating in the hotel cafe, we got food poisoning on the 2nd day of rest and lost a day of rest in agony, the staff just shrugged their shoulders and mumbled “okay”...
