Where is fish caught in Taman? Sea fishing in Kuchugury: how to combine a holiday at the resort with exciting fishing

The rich fauna of the Black and Azov Seas will delight fishing lovers. For fishermen, the very nature of the peninsula has created maximum conditions. You can sit with a fishing rod on the banks of the Kuban or Erika rivers, go fishing in the estuaries, on the ponds of hunting bases. A good catch will not be long in coming. In the fishing cage, catfish, pike perch, ram, carp, carp, pike or bream will be killed with their tails. It has become traditional to hold a spinning championship in the Temryuk region. It takes place annually in April-May and attracts a huge number of fishermen - amateurs and professionals. One of the common fisheries in these parts are gobies - which just beg to be hooked. In addition, local residents offer an inexpensive, wide selection of commercial fish: pelingas, pike perch, trout and even sturgeon. Fish can be caught both in estuaries and eriks, and in the sea. You can do it yourself. Or maybe on boats and motorboats? together with the huntsman of the hunting farm.. Don’t forget your gear at home. Although you can agree to rent a boat and everything for fishing. Local residents claim that in August, at a certain time, when the water becomes very warm, a large number of fish swim straight to the shore and you can literally catch them with your hands.
· Anglers should be equipped with corn, shrimp, pearl barley feeders, donks, and various other “things” that no serious fishing can do without.

PIKE

The Azov estuaries, or simply floodplains, in the western part of the Krasnodar Territory are considered an excellent place for fishing. The “mistress” of the estuaries is pike, which is found in abundance in these shallow lakes and is excellently caught in warm weather using spinning rods and artificial baits. And since instead of solid shores, the labyrinths of estuaries are separated by kilometer-long thickets of reeds, you can only fish “smoothly” with the help of a boat.

Taman is deservedly considered a fishing region. The Taman Peninsula is washed on three sides by the Black and Azov Seas, where you can catch red mullet, goby, horse mackerel, and in the fall and spring in the area of the Tuzla Spit and the resort villages of Ilyich and Kuchugury, pelingas and mullet come to the shore. In the floodplain of the Kuban River there are many estuaries with freshwater and sea water, which are home to many species of fish. Numerous eriks, canals dug in ancient times by the Cossacks to irrigate the lands, are rich in freshwater fish.

Few Russians have not heard of the famous ram, a freshwater inhabitant of local reservoirs. Taran is a schooling fish, loves canals and estuaries, you can catch it with a fishing rod and spinning rod, the bait can be canned corn, bloodworms or earthworms. In freshwater reservoirs, you can also find pike, pike perch, crucian carp, asp, silver carp, catfish, rudd, sabrefish and other fish.

Fishing in Taman is varied. You can fish from the shores of the Azov or Black Seas, you can fish in the Taman Bay by boat or boat, or come to stocked reservoirs of which there are many near Temryuk and on the Akhtanizovsky Estuary. In such fishing places you can rent a house and rent a boat. One of these popular places among fishermen is the Temryuchanka fishing base; all conditions for good fishing and recreation are created here.
In any case, you can enjoy fishing and return home with a rich catch.

It is not for nothing that the Sea of Azov with its bays and estuaries attracts the attention of fishermen. Having the most necessary gear and minimal skills, you can safely go hunting for fish. You may not be able to compete with experienced fishermen, but you are guaranteed to enjoy the process. Especially in Kuchugury.

Actually, there are a lot of places where you can go fishing. This includes Temryuk with its lakes, streams and estuaries, the village of Sennaya with the waters of the Taman Bay and directly sea fishing in Peresyp, in the area of Kuchugur and the village of Golubitskaya. We, of course, first of all recommend choosing the Kuchugur area.

Before you go fishing, decide on your goal, what kind of fish you are going to catch. If it is an ordinary Azov goby, this is one thing, but if you are going for pelengas or mullet, or even mullet, then this is completely different gear and a different fishing principle. For lovers of river fishing, a special base has been equipped in the Temryuk area, which is located in the delta of the Kuban River. Here you will definitely catch fish and relax. All conditions have been created for this at the base. Kuban is generally well stocked with fish; crucian carp and carp are caught here; during the season you can catch carp or pike perch. There is a similar place for freshwater fishing in Peresyp, very close to Kuchugury. There are special paid reservoirs organized for you here. The cost is about three hundred rubles per person. And most likely your gear will be caught by bream, carp or grass carp. The catch in such places is almost 100 percent guaranteed, but how interesting it is and whether it evokes a spirit of competition between the fisherman and the fish is up to you to decide.

Let's return to the big water. The surest way to get a catch is to start catching goby in the sea on the Kuchugur coast. About twenty different species live in the Kuchugur water area, but the largest specimens are found among the martin gobies, which are what fishermen actually chase. But when catching martovik, it is advisable to know the place of its camps, at least expected. This fish can be caught well in close proximity to the shore, since it basically stands still, and the maximum it can hide under a stone or bury itself in the sand. The goby goes deeper only in the cold season, but then we are not interested in it. This fish has a wide variety of appetites; it eats everything it sees, including shellfish, crustaceans, meat, and sometimes even its own brethren.

It is better to catch goby from the shore or pier in calm, calm and cool weather, preferably in places with a rocky bottom (for example, in the area of the Kuchugury volcano). Since in hot weather the fish go to deeper places.

You don’t need any tricks with gear for this fish. Choose a light rod, attach any fishing line, weight, float and hook. The only thing is that you shouldn’t take a small hook so as not to drag on the small change. If you wish, you can even hang a couple of hooks. When fishing for gobies, a double catch is not at all uncommon. A more effective option for catch fishing. For this, a half-millimeter fishing line is taken, a load of up to 30g, and a pair of hooks are tied onto leashes. Take ten hooks, you can’t go wrong. But such fishing often ends in snags, so have several sets of spare gear with you. There are people who like to catch gobies using a spinning rod, but this is the least effective way of fishing.

What you use to catch a goby is your own business; on the Azov coast, the goby swallows everything. It could be an earthworm or a dung worm. But a more convenient option would be pieces of lung, udder or chicken gizzards. Especially with intense biting. This bait will give you more than one bite. There is a little trick on how to put this meat on. Your hook number 10-12 is elongated to make it easier to remove the fish, and you pierce the piece right through with it, and then simply return this bait to the sting. With a good hook, your bull will not leave you. Don’t forget to pay attention to the sinker; if the water is calm without a current, then take a lead ball, it will swing along the bottom and attract the attention of the fish. If you are fishing in a place with a current. Then it’s better to take a pyramid, it will not allow you to carry away the bait, lying well on the bottom.

But if you still come for serious prey, then you should pay attention to pelengas, mullet or mullet with croaker. It is caught equally well in the Temryuk Bay and in the Taman Bay, it’s just that the Taman Bay is more closed from big water and you need to know the time when schools of fish enter it. In any case, in order for fishing to bring you true pleasure, you need several components: time, place and the right gear. For example, if you want to pull out about five kilograms of pelengas, then it is better to do this during the period of late spring and early summer, when the fish move in schools.

Mullet actively begins to be caught in mid-summer. Red mullet is caught almost all summer, but it bites most successfully in the beginning of autumn, and specifically in the Taman Bay.

If you have never caught mullet before, you can be sure that once you try this method, you will love it forever. At least the residents of Primorsky fish this way. This fish likes to approach the shore in shallow water in schools. Therefore, you will need to move thirty meters away from the shore, drive in a peg and tie an elastic band; your main line will float on the water and only a few leashes, twenty centimeters long, will be under water. Your task is to carefully monitor the tackle, tugging it from time to time to attract the attention of the fish. A better bait for mullet than the red dung worm has not yet been invented, which is why it is in short supply in the surrounding areas. If you did everything correctly, you are guaranteed a sharp bite and active fishing. And the reward for this can be a specimen of up to two kilograms.

But certainly one of the most interesting fishing trips will be trying to catch a good pelengas. If you are lucky with your vacation and find yourself at a time when the pelengas gather in flocks, get ready and gain strength and patience, and the result will not be long in coming. Please note that when going on vacation it is not always possible to take all the gear from home. But you don't need that. Local markets sell absolutely everything you might need in terms of gear, and it’s not at all expensive. And so you will need a long, strong rod, put a hundred-gram weight on the end of the fishing line, and tie a leash at a distance of twenty centimeters from it. A length of forty centimeters will be enough, on the leash you should have a large hook with a red float; fish are less attracted to other colors; mullet, for example, generally react more to green. And on the hook along the entire length you put a local worm from the estuary - Nereis, to be sure, it’s better to have two at once. To completely cover the hook. You need to throw such equipment a hundred meters away. You must have a high rod rest otherwise you will not be able to hook the fish quickly, giving it the opportunity to get off the hook while it struggles.

The sea coast is long, but if you decide to spend your vacation with a fishing rod in your hands and not just sit and look into the distance, but fish for good prey, you definitely won’t be able to find a better place than the water area washing the Taman Peninsula. And even if you are on vacation with your family, during the time that an even tan covers her body, you will probably be able to catch a couple of beautiful fish that will decorate your dinner.
