About twenty different species live in the Kuchugur water area, but the largest specimens are found among the martin gobies, which are what fishermen actually chase. This fish can be caught well in close proximity to the shore, since it basically stands still, and the maximum it can hide under a stone or bury itself in the sand. The goby goes deeper only in the cold season, but then we are not interested in it. This fish has a wide variety of appetites; it eats everything it sees, including shellfish, crustaceans, meat, and sometimes even its own brethren.
It is better to catch goby from the shore or pier in calm, calm and cool weather, preferably in places with a rocky bottom (for example, in the area of the Kuchugury volcano). Since in hot weather the fish go to deeper places.

If you are lucky with your vacation and find yourself at a time when the pelengas gather in flocks, get ready and gain strength and patience, and the result will not be long in coming. Please note that when going on vacation it is not always possible to take all the gear from home. But you don't need that. Local markets sell absolutely everything you might need in terms of gear, and it’s not at all expensive. And so you will need a long, strong rod, put a hundred-gram weight on the end of the fishing line, and tie a leash at a distance of twenty centimeters from it. A length of forty centimeters will be enough, on the leash you should have a large hook with a red float; fish are less attracted to other colors; mullet, for example, generally react more to green. And on the hook along the entire length you put a local worm from the estuary - Nereis, to be sure, it’s better to have two at once. To completely cover the hook.
